A Luxury palace hotel at its sheer best. Elegance and grandeur redefined. I went there for high-tea along with my parents to get both the day-night views. Loved the seating and views of old Hyderabad. You are sure to feel like a regal Nizami for those few hours of your visit. Do not miss the exclusive store on the ground level, as it has one of the best Amarapalli and other designer jewelry/clothes lines. I picked up an exclusive pair of beautiful silver earrings at a reasonable price. Also, the tour of the palace will fill your hearts with awe and surprise!

We celebrated our anniversary there. We felt so welcomed by everyone from the gate till reception. All the safety precautions were well taken care and never had to touch anything till we reached the room.
We had dinner in Adaa one of their restaurant. Every dish we tried was so amazing- Honey glazed prawns, Soup- gosht ka marag and mutton biryani. Acting as per the situation cutlery was not decorated on the table they packed them and left sealed on the table. Which I felt was very sensible thing to do.
Room was very comfortable. Especially enjoyed my shower right pressure and right temperature.
Alakarte breakfast with Keema Paratha, paya Nihari, Upma, pesarattu, freshly squeezed water melon juice and coconut water sitting in drizzling rain and amazing views took everything to the next level.
I must say, the team made every possible effort to make us feel special and happy.
It was an amazing and one off experience I had. Thanks to Taj Falaknuma team to give us an amazing experience. Cheers!

Enjoyed the stay, a 2 day weekend stay infact staff overall were very cordial , TATA and Taj i have lots of expectations and they always keep it to my expectations.
Ambience great food excellent restaurants staff especially
Hema santosh, Aniket, vishal, Nassar and pabuma were always quick, prompt courteous.
Sajjad who received us was cooperative. Housekeeping staff no complains.
Finally I would say TATA and Taj matched the Falak (sky)

Opulence at its best. Very hospitable staff. Kickass food. Though it's expensive well worth the whole experience at least once in a lifetime.

Its just woow... I am no one to give a review of such a iconic palace and so beautiful and lovely place. But would like to point out here that the food was just amazing contrary to the my believe that usually food of star restaurants are not that tasty. So all in all it was a wonderful and memorable experience to have been there.

Was I impressed with the food? Not really. This place is all about eating in an area of the Adaa restaurant, which is specifically the balcony section of the restaurant overlooking the city. If you sit here, you end up paying minimum 150 USD or something. The menu items were well thought out and serving portions were small. You essentially are tasting different items, and quite honestly the overall experience is worth trying but I am not entirely sold on the cost of it all. If you are visiting from America, maybe worth it...but if you are based in India, waste of money since you are really getting food that mediocre at best due to the cost vs. what you actually eat. Service is alright, I was super impressed. I will however recommend this option as needed but you have to really make your own judgement if it is worth checking out for what you pay to experience this venue and I am specifically referring to the open sitting area.

Taj Falaknuma Palace hotel lookwise awesome. Food is worst but mutton raan must try and service by local hyderabadi tapori waiters inside restaurant is dominative to customers. They are self cetroid heroes. How can they come under control of manager when they are brave enough to handle. Receptionist in library is veerana Jasmine shaitaan she will shout on you, if you take picture of palace overall this hotel under control of rude people. Palace is clean and very beautiful small palace. Restaurant staff really unprofessional in management.
Hyderabad is basicly mass area but atleast stop them here at relaxing place of such a beautiful hotel. If staff and reception change luxury of this hotel will be good in returns. Town is under control of shout brave schema.

The palace undoubtedly is beautiful ..one of its kind ! But the services I found are a little overrated ..we were expecting some music with tea .. but No music ..overall a must have experience !

A lot of effort into restoration but it failed to showcase the grandeur of the lifestyles of the erstwhile Nizami's. Loved the high tea. Awed by the view. Blown away with the architecture. Do visit

Falaknuma palace is one of the finest palaces in Hyderabad,in Telangana state.originally it belonged to the paigah family and was later owned by the nizams. The palace was built by Sir Nawab Vikar ul umra, the then prime Minister of Hyderabad and brother in law of the nawab Mir mahaboob Ali khan bahadur.
It's not a tourist spot.one can go with the nizam package offered by Telangana tourism. Rs 3000/ is charged but it's all worth it.
The palace is magnificent and opulent.
Having high tea in the premises is a great experience.

One of better places to have a client meeting/dinner. Well maintained and serviced.

Been there couple of times, nice tour and rich dinner.Set menu has limited options, alacarta is good as there are many food options.

Taj Falaknuma palace one of the famous palace in our India. It was built on a hill.The special secret of palace is the palace veiw from top veiw looks as Scorpio. It's built by king nizam. And taj falaknuma palace has world largest dining hall .

Staff is a little too proud of themselves and very stingy about the usage of the palace. Don t listen to them too much. They first say no and then say yes. Too many instructions make you feel like a servant rather than a guest.

Visiting the Taj Falaknuma Palace is a once in a lifetime experience. You will never forget.

The overall experience is the best.
You are taken to the palace by horse cart. They shower you with rose pedals, every where you go, they ask you, if you are okay, what you need.
We can highly recommend the hotel - it is unique.
The breakfast on the Terrasse is unforgettable.
They have two restaurants- Italian and Indian - we tried both - very good.
The pool is romantic.
Overall very satisfied.

Its really an amazing experience staying in this hotel. Though it is titled as a premium class, it is a value for money. The joy of staying with this hotel overrides the spending. The ambiance is unique, the staff are dedicated, friendly, responsible. They treat you with an exceptional respect and natural feelings. I highly recommend to visit.

Lovely place to get the full view of hydrabad city with its exceptional hospitality

This place(Palace) is a worm hole that transports you through time! As you enter you are taken to the entrance of the palace in a horse driven chariot, where awaits a rose petal shower as you enter the palace. As i made the reservation through Amex Fine hotels & Resorts, I was directly escorted to my room(Suite). All the check-in formalities were taken care of in the living room, along with a letter of benefits during the stay along with the suite upgrade. The suites were in a separate section of the palace with a nice courtyard and the pool was closer than the rest of the rooms. There was high tea post noon, post which there was a palace tour; later there was a classic musical performance on courtyard of the jade room(Which in itself was a classic lounge). The food was a great, service was impeccable. Although the property stands unique by itself, the staff make is further better. A small review here wouldn't suffice the experience at this palace. Cheers to the team who make sure the guests are treated like the royals.

Excellent hotel and everything that goes with it. Staff are very helpful food is excellent so are the rooms very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ride in the horse drawn carriage from the main gate to the palace. Excellent views and landscape gardens. Good spa staying here is an experience you will never forget. Good value for the money you pay.

Used to be a beautiful palace but unfortunately this palace was taken over by taj group of hotels and since then visitors are not allowed to tour this place.

Still if you want to visit you can opt for Telangana Tourism - NIZAM PALACES TOUR which is a costly affair and ticket price range is between 2000 to 3100, it includes other hotels as well.

The palace is unbelievable. We celebrated a birthday here.Adaa was very good dine place.life time unforgettable place. They make your occasion wonderfull with there welcome.

Not so comfortable as a hotel, but historical place

Terrible experience. It was never mentioned that a booking has to be done 48 hours in advance. However when I arrived, this was told to us and we were not even allowed to enter. It was neither a weekday nor a holiday or a festival. The management was extremely rude at the entrance itself and that was enough to spoil our impression of the place.

A beautiful experience one has to experience in life, A royal carriage with delicious food makes your day. On addition, they give you a palace tour too when you book for lunch or high tea, very rarely known to people in Hyderabad about this!

One of a kind, the place is a beautiful corner in Hyderabad. It's the palace of Nizam's of Hyderabad. The place is under the care of Tata group with 5 star hotel in the premises. The Italian was really true to its name. The place is worth spending an evening. The costs are also true to the 5 star status. To visit the place or palace, u must have a reservation in one of its restaurants in advance which can be done on phone or online. On the spot reservations are rarely available.

Lovely place.. but service is very slow..at some instances we had to wait for 10-15 mins just to get a glass of water... Facility is very nice.. overall royal experience...
