In my review of Taft college, I'd like to say that TC has been great to me. I attended TC as an older student in the late 90's/2000, who needed to relearn some things. I found so many helpful people at that time. Everyone tried their best to accommodate me at my level. I was made to feel welcomed even though I wasn't the traditional aged student. I was given an opportunity to learn and be better. I found so many resources that aided in my gaining an Associates degree. Thanks Taft College.

The classes are much smaller making room for more one on one with the teachers. I transferred from Bakersfield College and I am glad I did. My grades went up, I learned more, the people are much nicer and more helpful. I have even helped some of my friends transfer over because they were struggling at BC also.
Best staff/faculty ever! I don't regret getting my AA from here; would definitely recommend this school. But, there are not many programs/clubs to join . Also, cafeteria needs an improvement. With the rental books program they offer, you'll surely save some money!
Its a great campass, they have been doing a lot of remodeling in the last fire years and it looks amazing. It feels more open and there is a lot more parking now. The administrative staff is great but the teachers are hit or miss. Focused more on opinion sometimes than just covering the material. Overall its a great college to start with.
The first time I come to Taft College for a first time college tour with my mom and dad. I really love it because everything is over me then far away. It was really great meeting Ms Victoria Wang for the first time when I come for my first ever tour with Taft College. I did my first ever a College interview with 4 Committee people they we talking to me. I am very nervous of about my second interview for Taft College how will it go like last time interview. I praying and crossing my finger they I will Accepted to Taft College on August 2020 or August 2021 but it really most likely will be August 2021 because of the Novel Covid 19. Hopefully that s an impact new students coming in so students can be able to move in without no problems and have to be send back home. I am really sad they I wasn t able to go to Taft College just for my first time interview with the Committee from Taft College but it was completely closed Only for administrators to be able to get Pay hours.
*When I left Taft College on the way home I was really ready to move in but I was too early because I have to do the full application and send in the mail to Taft College to go over it and let me know if I am accepted to have my 1st interview with the Committee from Taft College I broken down in tears because I was super hard talking of about it without crying more and more.
*I was really helpful to do a trial run on Zoom for Ms Jessica White Replace Ms Victoria Wang because she is no longer working I have a retired from Taft College but I didn t meet her in person just on Zoom I want like to meet her face to face one day after I m accepted as a college student at Taft College :-)
I had a really great experience here at Taft. I learned so much and the teachers were great. I had to drop Bakersfield College because I was failing all of my classes. But, when I came to Taft, my grades went up. All A's and B's and one C :) Thank you Taft College for giving me a great experience
