took more than 2 weeks for the blackboard online courses to be put online after enrolling. badly run courses. had to re enrol to a few units to complete course was told 3 units then 7 then 3 then 7 by different people its a joke no one knows whats going on.
Tafe is a bloody joke, and an absolutely racist unsupportive environment. I got yelled at by a teacher for no reason and reported it to administration and only to be threatened and targeted by the admin and she also tried to sabotage me while I was getting support as a student from their management. And also the enrollment was a nightmare which I was told to wait for 3 weeks and they already did a unit without me and due to their toxic environment triggered my depression and had to go part time and yet they still attempted to charge me the full amount of my studies only without the unit they did without me. Also an extension of study fee, wow I had to extend it because you created a toxic environment with discrimination! And also the person at the reception was rude and absolute threatening while I was trying to explain my situation as to I had personal matter to sort out with teachers regarding to units in the last semester, however she only said everyone is a special case and continued to question my personal business with a discrimative manner and as I told Tafe they defended her and simply let her get away with it. Tafe,shame on you !
More staff are needed at the student centre for the enrolment (at least twice a year). It's quite predictable when it's going to be busy. Staff managing can be improved. Time is valuable, nobody here wants to wait for hours just to do a 5 minute enrolment. Most people here are getting frustrated at how long they have to wait. Please practice what you preach. The reason I'm not doing it over the phone is because no-one got back to me so I have to come in person. Thanks.
I wouldn't recommend doing any studies at this campus I have study at other campuses are lot better. reach out to or make an appointment or even if you do make an appointment they take forever to talk to you. A lot of the teachers from my experience are unless. IF YOU DONT WANT TO FAIL BECAUSE OF IGNORANCE DO NOT STUDY HERE. How teacher didn t get us test ready be more prepared for out Practical test as well is for written test. I have Disability the first thing I did was go to my Disability officer to get support for my learnings needs told me they were boom out for two weeks I end up waiting for 4 weeks still didn t get help so did do the Practical test fail first attempt I decided to withdraw I wasn t get any support what so ever. This isn't for all teachers but a lot of them are. Also, they blame you if you don t get into the right course. Even if you double checked with them while enrolling and even if they said it s the right one but then end up they actually made a mistake and put you into the wrong one. They will blame you they won t even care or accept their mistake and you might end up paying the whole course fee upfront. And these problems happen way too often and they aren t bringing in any sort of solution to this which really can be frustrating.
