I received a Flexitouch pump for my legs. I used it a grand total of three times. It was very cumbersome and difficult to use and I quickly realized there was no way I would use it consistently. I called Tactile Medical to return it. They agreed to take it back but they won't refund my insurance company. This thing cost almost $5000 and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it! To top it off, there are similar devices on Amazon for less than $100. I wish I could give them negative stars.

I was told by the rep, and his boss, that because my insurance is Medicaid that they will never give me the compression pump that covers my arm and torso that my PT said that I needed. They said that Medicaid pays at cost and Tactile Medical "would take a loss and that won't happen." So I was given the compression pump that only covers my arm. When I called about replacement tubing a man rudely told me that I won't get any replacement parts because of my insurance. Terrible customer service. Greedy company who cares more about money than helping customers deal with life long debilitating affliction.

I am so pleased - met with rep at clinic and then the trainer came to my home. Amazing customer service. Device works great - and so happy with support!

I have a Flex I touch pneumatic pump system that had broken tubing in one of the pieces. They sent me a replacement quickly and were very helpful and quick to respond. Great company!

I can't get the returns department to call me, this device hurt my left knee, which is already bad, you try to call them and your on hold for 25 to 45 minutes! I just want the returns department to call me!!! I feel like I'm getting the run around!!!

I just realized that after an initial $2500 charge for the device they have been charging my insurance $745 a month, and sending us a bill for $35 a month. For a device that at best costs $500 in total.

Filing this with Aetna in the morning as an insurance scam.

Insurance scam all around - numerous reports proved to me that this is a bill-insurance at all costs, results come second, scam.

Once you receive your system, it s nothing more than a highly expensive air pump to squeeze your limb(s) like your doctors office does on your arm to take your pulse, only with an electric motor attached to it.

Knowing this company targets unhealthy individuals whom often can t move due to their condition, this effect on my loved one, became blatantly obvious - these folks like my relative will do anything to heal from their pain and suffering. With its lack of efficacy and our inability to get insurance to get their payments back, it s a win-win for Tactile and a lose-lose for the actual patient, suffering.

Run, run the other direction.

Total insurance scam. I was told this unit cost 4000. The sales rep told me my insurance paid it all. That was over a year ago. Now I get a call wanting me to pay for it. The product is wonderful but the company is not.

I am very pleased with Tactile Medical. Their technician came taught me how to use the machine, how to hook it up, as well as signs of heart issues. Thank you so much.
