Using TAB bank for my PPP loan was a wonderful experience! I tried to apply through other banks, including my own bank and kept getting the runaround. TAB was professional and efficient at helping me receive the funds I needed. I highly recommend!
TAB bank is a genuinely good bank run by good people who want to help. Yes, they charge interest and fees but they are reasonable and considering that they practically saved our business means that we owe them much more then what they charged us. Also, they helped do a deferment plan which allowed us some breathing room for 3 months. They didn t need to do that. Comparatively, Bank of America took forever to get the PPP thing going on the second round and took 4 weeks longer to get the money to us and when they did they only were able to get like 70% of what TAB was able to get 4 weeks earlier. Obviously, TAB is looking out for the best interest and we had to by law decline the BOA loan. Anyway TAB is a good bank.
The funding process was very quick for my PPP loan. I used a third party to complete the application process so cannot speak on the experience of the process with them directly. I made contact about a month after funding was received because I had not received any further communication, loan documents, etc for first draw. The agent was very friendly, insightful, and offered just the right amount of cross-selling/info providing so that it was not overbearing. The agent also looked at additional items related to my loan that I had not considered to ask, and each was a very important detail I needed to know. I still have not received the promised account materials, but am confident they will resolve the issue as soon as I contact them again. (Thank you for commenting on my review in less than 1 hour and addressing my outstanding paperwork. That is exactly what customer service should be like! I'm glad to be working with TAB BANK)
