T&T Supermarket Reviews

I was paying for 3 different small items and the cashier add to my bill another extra 3 small packages prepacked food. So in basket 3 and on the bill 6. I ask cashier where the 3 item come from but nothing only silence. She removed the items from the bill with out even say sorry.

Haw it happened when every item has to be scan through optical reader.
Only explanation is that the cashier has a way to add it manually extra to you bill. Say, if you purchasing about 35 items the extra 3 wouldn't be noticeable.
So watch your money in T&T. I don't trust them anymore.

I saw the big boss (lao da) for hot food and deli department mistreat a hardworking employee after the employee had sustained a injuries. Terrible working environment! BTW, how is a receiver also the medical person?!

I make special trips to this store just for the food so good

A super asian super market. What I found interesting was that they have a Peking Duck Wrap station. I've uploaded a few pics of the station. Hilarious.

The best Asian supermarket in Richmond, they also have Osaka, same good as TNT, lots of items to choose.

Huge chunks of food. What you expect for that price.

Good place, I've been going there for many years now and I like buying small snacks and drinks from there. Sometimes the prices are a little unreasonable, and I don't buy most things that are available but still a great store.

I like their fresh seafood , vegetables ,fruits. Their ready to eat hot food department is another great thing,lots of choices. I always do my shopping there.

There are Japanese products. However, it is much higher than the price in Japan! I bought rice ~

I like the variety of Asian brand foods. A good departure from the standard North American supermarket.

I can find most of the things and food from there. A bit pricy. But it's okay.

The employee in the fish department steals your merchandise! My wife went to buy a crab today, (Jan 12, 2020), they cut the carb for her, when we cooked the cut crab, we found there were two legs missing, the two best legs, you'd better watch out when you buy there. The staff of Datonghua Fish Department secretly left the two fattest crab legs while cutting the big crabs. We found them when we went home to eat, please Attention everyone! !! !!

There are many people, the goods are relatively complete, the price is very expensive, and the quality is average.

I love TnT. It offers so many food from Asian so it's a must-go place for an Asian like me. But one thing drives me CRAZY is how much plastic packaging are created in pretty much everything in the store. I get that the extra cares are needed for long distance travel. We all should try do our part to help our planet. I am pleading to people in charge to do better. Its that simple. Less packaging is not that hard to achieve.

Good supply and selection of Asian grocery products!

Noodles noodles noodles. Got my ramen on. Huge selection. Lots of great deals. Yakitori grill for sale by the cashiers. Hard not to buy things when im here.

You need to pay for your parking in credit card, first. Limited chouce of weekly specials.

The aisles are for small people. Tough to maneuver around with people just standing around pondering if they are planning to buy. Super quiet first thing in the morning. Crazy busy throughout the day and evenings.

The bakery is always fully presented. Shelves are nicely packed for self serve. One can get fresh baked buns to cooked noodles to bubble drinks on the go. Getting your lunch or dinner is so quick.

I do like this store because of their wide array of asian products and very quick cashier service. What I don't like is the poor communication. Most of them don't speak English. It's really hard to get the service you want when they can't understand you. You just give up in the end.

Got all ingredients to make Typical Mauritian Fried Noodles. Got fresh noodles and bok choy from there. And taste just like home. Also got goyavas n papaya.

This T&T probably has the largest grab and go food section in all of Vancouver.

The experience could've been better if I recieved better service from one of the ladies who make the noodle soups. I ordered a beef brisket and tendon noodle soup but all I got was tendon. The lady took 20 minutes to make that even though there weren't any other orders. I watched my order just sit on the table. Thought she was making some more beef brisket but all she needed to do was pour soup over it. I'll probably stay away from the noodles if that lady is working.

Just an average store. Go there only if you want Asian stuff. Apparently, taking photos inside the store in not allowed. What weird rules!!

Datonghua is the gospel of the Chinese. There is nothing you can t buy. Only unexpected vegetables, seafood, cooked food, and pastries are the quality I buy most often. The quality is very good. The staff attitude is super good. Vancouver hasn't had an unpleasant occurrence in any one of Tung Wah in two years, especially during the epidemic. Another price, one product, please do not compare this kind of service with the public market. In China, you don t want to expect the price of He Ma Jia Le Fu Wal-Mart Sam and the downstairs outdoor food market, right?

There are many types of things, but the price is sometimes high, especially for beauty products...

Had dinner there last night and worst eatery ever! Filthy, untidy and packed with rude, loud and hack-care patrons! Wonder why nobody complained or fines were issued with such in unhygienic conditions for an eatery counter in a grocery store?

Busy and interesting range of new products to be sampled. I wish they had one on Marine Drive in Vancouver!

Conveniently located inside Metrotown mall. Not so convenient if you have limited time and trying to make a quick stop for lunch. Make sure to leave extra time to get into the parking lot and find parking.

Huge Asian grocery store in Vancouver. Good variety of Asian food and fresh produce.

Lots of stuff cheaper than even in superstore, and lots of stuff you don't find in many places, like Chinese food, Also, good variety of cakes for good prices!

The location is moderate and parking is convenient.

Too much killing live crabs and fishes inside store, dump food but not donate to food bank. Wish they will change soon. Good taste Asian food but price too high.

Flagship store, with all the selection and great prices on produce. That being said, parking is a bit of a nightmare!

Supermarket, there you can find everything that Asians consume

A large Asian supermarket, they also carry a large variety of prepared foods and drinks including bubble tea. The bakery section is stocked with fresh bread, buns, cakes and more. There's an area with tables where you can sit and eat. There's also 720 Sweets attached to this location where you can purchase nitrogen ice cream.

I like this place and the other T&T supermarkets for some special foods and ingredients that you may not find them in the other supermarkets which are mostly Asian foods. Sushi and other kind of warm and cold Asian style food available here and there is several tables you may dining inside also.

I absolutely adore t&t it is my go to place for its mango cakes although they have a wide variety of food, even skin care and many other things! It is a massive store and a definate go to for cultural foods!

One of my go to place for Asian groceries. Meat, bakery and veggie section are great. Deli section can be hit and miss, few of deli stuff (eg. Bun Cha, Vietnamese cold noodle) tasted so gross. Bubble tea are $3 range. Clearance after 7-8 is really good. I can buy pastry for a cheap price.

Some cashiers are quite nice, whereas produce staff are grumpy and mean. I've bought Taiwanese cabbage as half portion few times and one time they refused to cut in half for me. Plus they can only speak Chinese.

This place is really a gospel for Asians! The people living in this neighborhood are so happy that they don't have the trouble of homesickness at all. Datonghua has almost everything, and I am not afraid of homesickness! The place is super awesome, I only have full admiration. Completely benefit overseas travelers!

Metrotown Datonghua has been away for ten years. The freshness of green vegetables is getting worse and worse. Many rotten vegetables can be put up for sale. Regent next door teaches Datonghua what green vegetables are in minutes! But if you just buy some Asian snacks or spices,
