I visit this place at least once a year! This year it was the Beer, Wine and Miracle Festival! And on the spot it turned out that also Asian food. We drank one beer and returned with quince syrup and green tea! A great place, every year a nice party (for sure when it comes to the beer festival) and many other thematic events for everyone. I would recommend.
Every event (just a "consumed" festival of dumplings) or an exhibition (e.g. naive art) that I visited at this place left an indelible impression. Great atmosphere, facility run with an idea, events attract crowds. And there is a problem with these crowds, because there are few parking spaces in the historic part of Nikiszowiec. Despite the inconvenience, 5 stars for the atmosphere of the place.

There are many places where you can leave your car. Events are well organized, it's clean. The temperature in winter was ok. It was approx. -5 degrees outside and inside I didn't take off my jacket but it wasn't cold

It is cold to combat the heaters and blowers effectively, but in the case of large events, there are not enough secluded places. The exhibitions look good. It is good that the objects of the industrial past are adapted (as in this case) and still live.
I go to Szyb on the occasion of various events in the style of eco or veg festivals and in these cases this place works perfectly. There is a lot of space both inside and outside, exhibitors have where to present themselves. There is no problem to enter the hall with the dog, although it may also be dependent on the hosts of the events. It is where to park, although parking is quite a difficult place to maneuver, rather wild than neat, but better than none. The atmosphere of the place is absolutely unique, and the works exhibited here and there attract the eye on an equal footing with the industrial building.
This is the largest exhibition of non-professional painting in the world. A wonderful climate. You can completely relax watching the exhibited works.

A very interesting place with lots of interesting events full of encouraging exhibitors
From Nikiszowiec the proverbial "stone's throw". The place probably known from the annual exhibition of the Art Naif festival. Fairy-tale painting, you must come here! The festival runs from June to August. In 2018 there will be the 11th edition of the festival. In addition, other interesting events (e.g. Food Fest). The spacious interior of the former shaft of the Wieczorek mine achieves its goals based on the slogan: "What industry has taken away, culture must recover". Subsequent editions of Art Naif, numerous events throughout the year, thousands of visitors..hm ... it seems that culture is recovering from post-industrial areas .
A very interesting art gallery on the site of a former mine. I visited the Art Naif Festival for the first time - very interesting exhibitions, colorful and eye-catching paintings. The gallery itself also looks interesting, so it's definitely worth seeing.

Mega interesting place on the cultural map of Katowice, near the crowd of visitors to Nikiszowiec, art gallery decorated in post-industrial reality, with exhibitions ... it's different, but it's worth seeing. A great place to organize events, but it has the word "gallery" in its name, so I rate it as a gallery. And here, unfortunately, there is nothing to judge; a large number of events that you will not learn about from the website or fan page means that there is no time to view exhibitions. When you go there, you probably want to go to some party you didn't know about.

Great atmosphere, fantastic events and festivals, great space filled with art and history easy access 30 (Korfantego), 109, 930 (fast from the train station) from the center of Katowice, near the picturesque industrial estate Nikiszowiec. Regularly changed exhibitions encourage frequent returns, between June and August the host of the Art Naif Festival, in other months the place of workshops, exhibitions and cultural events an important part of the Industrial and Unique Monuments Route on the map of Katowice, decorated with numerous murals, an architecturally interesting building and a colorful interior filled with art from around the world
A wonderful post-industrial facility just by Nikiszowiec. An interesting place for all kinds of festivals and parties. It's usually where to put a car. Nice climate!
