The 1830 we purchases was process, shipped and received within 4 days. I watched the set up video's on line which made it very simple to set up right out of the box. I am currently using this unit as a stand alone while mediating moisture issues within my 1500 sf metal building. I will be installing it with HVAC soon once my project is complete. So far the unit has functioned well and a quiet unit. Very pleased to this point.
It was a warm Thursday afternoon, and I thought, "dang I really need a fan for my desk as the days are getting warmer heading into spring. hopefully it will be here by next week!" Well, I ordered a fan from Sylvane.com at 3:13pm on a Thursday and it showed up at 11:12am on Friday. Incredible.

I had bought the same product from Home Depot--WHAT A CONTRAST!. This came with an undamaged carton, and no askew parts. The customer support in well staffed with intelligent people; I got through right away at a busy time, to someone who knew the answers, and the one missing, looked up. I phoned to correct something in my order later that day; he fixed it. (At HOME DEPOT I spent an hour trying to find out how to replace the defective one with their customer support. ) It was worth the slight wait for cross-country shipping and undamaged goods. In the future, I'll check all big appliance purchases here, and at the NY outfits--but no more Home depot.
So far so good. The filter looks strong and appears to be functioning perfectly in my portable swamp cooler.
Ordered a whole home dehumidifier online (~$3k), new in the box while renovating until installation, which happened after the 30-day return date, ran for 20 minutes and was too loud for our space. Sylvane refused to consider taking it back, which is absolutely ridiculous. Now I'm $3k poorer and stuck with something I can't use.
