Sylvan Street Grille Review

Would've been 5 starts but the quiche was a bit too cheesy. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable.

My food was very dry. They did offer me something else. I thanked them anyway. They did however took it off the bill

I had the fried chicken, the gravy and potatoes were so good and the green beans and chicken really made this a dish I will have again! MIL had fish tacos and ate them all, my husband had scallop picatta that he ate in one sitting. Would recommend!

Huge menu, attentive waitstaff. Got the lobster Mac n cheese. Not enough lobster in it AT ALL for the price ($22, maybe 2oz of lobster meat in it) though it tasted good. Cheese sauce made in-house over penne with lobster mixed in (appeared to be mostly claw meat). Had to look hard to find the meat in there! Large drink menu and the hard cider on draft was delicious. I emailed the manager regarding the poor portion for the price and Tricia emailed me back the next day to say she'd send me a gift card if I wanted to try the restaurant again. Service was great. Will go back to give them another try despite this experience because everything other than the poorly portioned dish was ideal. Very busy place. Lots of parking. Happy atmosphere. Lots of dining spaces inside plus a bar area. Give them a try!

I had the seafood broil and it was tasty but it was a bit Scrappy. Only had two shrimp and two scallops cut in half and a small piece of fish. They need to put in more shrimp. Shrimp is cheap don't be cheap with shrimp. My wife got the scallop pie with crabmeat stuffing and it was way overdone and the stuffing was extremely dry. The vegetables where are boiled or steamed to a point where they were just mush. Maybe next time I go I'll just stick to a burger.

The server we had was great first if all. No problems there. The problem was the menu and the food and the fact that if your under 30 you don't want to go here. This restaurant is one for people that are 50 or above. The food was over seasoned to the point where your like that was way to much salt and it appears the menu hasn't been updated since at least the 90s. A friend who was dying with me grabbed a new drink that was on the menu and only finished it because she ordered it. I had 5 bites of the scallop carbonara and first off there was way to much salt in it and on the scallops. I love salt but this was to much for me. Second it says carbonara on the menu when actually it's a scallops alfredo. Why not just write what it is instead of putting what it's not. Either way this places menu and the inside haven't been updated in many many years and if your under 50 there are so many better places to go. Don't bother going here. You can make better food at home.

Been coming here every week since 2003, it's our towny bar and we live 20 miles away.

I used to go here as a kid (when they used to give balloons out to the youngins!) and went back recently for dinner and drinks. It's a nice place to casually dine - big portions, food is tasty, but this is a very typical "pub/restaurant" atmosphere.

Just ordered through Door Dash. No Drink which I paid for, no utensils, and no condiments at all. Very confused why I just spend $70.00 for nothing! Very disappointing.

The loster in my mac and cheese had a very weird taste and was extremely chewy

SUNNIE IS THE BEST. Had a fantastic dinner, steak was cooked wonderfully, and the waitress, Sunnie, was awesome. She went out of her way to make sure we were all good. Definitely will come back.

This is an excellent spot for a good value meal that is both well portioned and priced. My wife and I always sit in the bar area where the wait staff are super-duper fly and attentive. Wide variety of American fare and some creative seasonal cocktails makes this one a win for your sportsball viewing and dining pleasure!

We eat here fairly often, but the food, this past visit was very good. Got a salad. The greens were crisp, the fruit was fresh. I would wholly recommend.

Krista was an excellent waitress!! Food was delicious and quick. Bloody Mary looked great, didn't drink one though.Best kids menu I think I've ever seen. Hope to try some beers next time.

Love this place. Great food, Fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. They have done a great job with their indoor and outdoor seating arrangements to address the Covid 19 pandemic.

The service was fine but the food was very bland. French onion soup was thin and flavorless, salads were boring and bland. Atmosphere was full of seniors and constant birthday singing. It was just noisy and annoying the whole meal.

Waitress was courteous and attentive; appetizer was delicious but the chicken pot pie I ordered was so salty I couldn't eat it. Replacement burger was good and they did not charge me for the pot pie.

Food was pretty decent. Our server was a bit annoyed that we wanted to move inside on a chilly night. I understand that it is difficult and might cause issues but I think it could have been handled a bit better. Not upset but a missed opportunity.

Food arrived fast and hot and extremely quickly for a Saturday night. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. There were some small things some of my group didn't enjoy, but nothing major. We thankfully go there early and had no wait. On the way out it did look like the wait was starting to form.

Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They offer generous portions and for reasonable prices. We enjoyed the menu a lot and the waiters were super welcoming and explanatory. Highly recommended.

Spinach and artichoke is great!! Untold the spinich and arti chokes you. Then its just pure tequila every time. This place is awful. Ill be back tomorrow.
