Sylvan Street Grille Review

Awesome family style restaurant. Great food, service, and atmosphere for all ocasions. You go wrong going to the Sylvan Street Grille.

Just stopped in for some appetizers and a beer and came across this appetizer a steak and cheese egg roll OMG, I'm going back soon just to get a few orders

Not impressed. Service was fair and food was just ok. What was served wasn't as described on the menu i.e. chicken dinner that was supposed to be lemon honey flavor was plain grilled with no lemon honey flavor whatsoever. At least it was tender and moist. Same with "garlic" mashed potatoes - very plain tasting even after they brought a second serving. The first batch wasn't even served with the meal. We got there before dinner rush so not like it was too busy for them.

Good food and good atmosphere ... can't go wrong with sitting in the bar to watch a game, tons of choices for whatever your sport is.

Great menu selection and beer list. Ribs were a little disappointing in the taste category. All the favor came from the sauce that was put on after cooking. Chicken stir fry on the other hand was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient.

The atmosphere is great but the menu is top shelf!
I like the bunless burger , lobster ravioli and mango habanero chicken. Service is quick and friendly.
The beer selection is excellent.
Easy to get to off 128 to 114. Pleanty of parking.

The haddock was obviously frozen. Didnt even resemble fish. The fajitas were gross. Service marginal. The place smelled like a dirty rug

We love this casual restaurant. Though it's a typical casual restaurant, the food is much better than most places and the drink pours are generous. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been going to this location since it was the old Vic's motor inn. Sylvan street knows how to make anything. Food is always fresh and service is great.

Solid food year over year. Great boneless buffalo wings and don't forget the brickle pie dessert

A good variety on the menu. My favorite is cup of soup and 1/2 sandwich for lunch.

Great menu, lots of choices, especially seafood. Had the scallop pie, which was delicious! Desserts were sinful.

Solid pub with good beer selection and food. Convenient location to everything at route 114 and malls.

Walked in with a group of 12 without a reservation and the we're able to accommodate us in short order. Service was great. Only issue was one dinner that was apparently delivered to another table on accident. They quickly remade the meal and brought it out. I'd go back again.

Great food. I saw Scallop Pie on the menu and looked no further. It was great. Fresh scallops, butter, bread crumbs. Not greasy at all.

Always a pleaser. Large portions, good food. There is nothing on the menu that you really wouldn't like, unless of course you dont like it. ( You wouldn't order something you dont like.. duh) sign up for rewards and get money off. Bar has a pleasant atmosphere with all kinds of games and prizes for the patrons on a busy Saturday night. Priced right for what you get. Highly recommend

We were a large (30+) party under a bit of time pressure. They had plenty of staff, and got us served in very short order. The food was not creative but simply excellent quality and cooked well. The entire group commented that this was an excellent choice. Huge menu with something for every taste. Nicely done!

This place is great for a group gathering. Came here to visit friends that I havent seen in a while. Service is good, and the food is alright. Nothing spectacular. They do have delicious drinks and some decent beers.

Delicious pub-style food in a large, comfortable setting. The restaurant is divided up into rooms, each with a cozy decor. The menu is fairly extensive, but I had no regrets with a traditional burger and fries to suit my cravings that day. Different rooms are available for rent for private parties of varying sizes.

Server Kelly was amazing! Food was okay, drinks were great!

I Love food and i'm not picky but neither myself or my BF liked what we got.
Lobster mac came without lobster and when i complained the waitress said she would check with thekitchen and be right back. she never came back so i got up and asked to speak to a manager. She brought me lobster with cheese sauce on the side- and asked me to mix it with the mac and cheese. not the same thing, not what i wanted and it didn't taste the same.
the BF ordered the broiled seafood and sent it back because it was so bland. the scallops had a really bitter taste on the center. We sent it back and didn't even bother with a replacement.
The mngr took off our 2 cokes and his broiled dinner but she saw i didnt eat any of my mac and cheese after they messed up the order and she didnt take it off the bill. I didn't want to ask because i was just done with the whole situation but as a manager, she should have removed it without me asking. She is in charge of customer relations and she could see something wasn't right but she never even asked me why i didn't eat it. she just didn't care or maybe she was scared (of what though?).
If she had done her job as manager and had taken the time to hear me out and address the issue i would have gladly tried this place again in the future but now i wont be back ever.
bottom line- I've driven by and heard of this place for so long, i was so disappointed.
The food came quickly and the place is beautiful. But that's the only positive thing i can say about sylvan street grill.
I hope the price of the mac & cheese was worth two 1 star reviews.

Food was ok, service was great. But honestly clean the rugs they look and smell nasty.

Great food flavors and choices. I love the desserts, especially the brickle pie. The outside seating area is a really nice environment for eating and enjoying the water feature.

Food was good and the service was great my only complaint would be I found the entrees very over priced for what you would get. I just don't see how they can justify all their pasta dishes to be $15+ just seems little bit much, but otherwise nice experience.

Very impressed -the bar food, drinks and service. We had a mixed drink, draft beer and nachos-all of it very good. The bartenders were so friendly, helpful and attentive. The plates that were being served around us looked like there are a lot of fresh and healthy meal options.

I find the ambience, bartenders, and drinks fantastic. The food in most cases is ok. If your a desert person, the brickle pie is great.

A local staple, you can expect great and fast service with a smile. Food and drinks are a great value.

They have amazing food, and the servers are so friendly and amazing. It's also kids friendly and a great place to watch the games that are on!

Dependable bar food, good service, lots of TV's turned to sports stations.

First time I actually enjoyed my meal. Clearly I hadn't ordered the right thing before. It was actually the first time I had been for lunch, any other time was for dinner.

Not really impressed with the food. I'm not a local but I got the impression that this is more the local watering hole than the place to eat. Beer selection was large. Fair to middling prices. My wife got a steak salad and I had steak with potatoes and asparagus. Neither dish was anything to write home about; not really bad just not really good either.
