Great place, our kids loved all the various animals on offer. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. It was fun seeing a number of the animals get fed too. Great viewing areas to see animals. The main animals, Koala s, kangaroos, wombat and croc were more impressive at Wild Life Sydney Zoo than Taronga Zoo in our opinion.

Not the biggest number of animals but you can see the Tasmanian devil, some kangaroos and crocodiles among other animals. Also you can take some photos and selfies with kangaroos and Kolas at a price

We booked "Breakfast with a Koala" experience but it was really much more than that. We arrived early and got a private tour of the zoo - it was great to have the place to ourselves and be there before they open to the public. Then we had our breakfast in the koala area and we were able to take so many pictures with them! We had a blast!

I would highly recommend this attraction if they changed things up a bit. Also suggest that they have more interactive and hands on activities for children. Would make the experience so much better.

If you're going for the first time and you have a clustophobic friend. Then you're going to have a bad time. The map does not make sense and you'll go all over the place. We were trying to find the Koala encounter and the Koala Encounter was rushed. On the website we would have 10 mins to take photos but we only had five mins because of the koala talk. The enterance is confusing without that sign we would of lined up to Sea Life.

The entry fee is expensive. Was it worth the trouble? Not really but we had fun at the Koala encounter. Also buy your tickets ONLINE. The line is really long and if you pay online. You can skip the wait and go right in.

This zoo contains the wildlife of Australia. The area where we could walk among kangaroos and wallabys was fantastic, and being close to the koalas was great. The zoo is built on different levels, so many of the animals could be viewed from above, below and/or at their level. We were delighted to see the huge saltwater crocodile. All of the exhibits feature a map of Australia with the area of the animal's origin highlighted. This is a great little gem in Sydney's Darling Harbour. Allow about 2 - 3 hours to see everything.

We came early hoping to beat the crowds and it was great, there was barely anyone else so we got to explore without people pushing us around. The zoo was the smallest I've been to but the exhibits were good. We loved how interactive the whole experience was for both is and our toddler being able to get up close to the butterflies, crocodile and the big glass windows & the animal statues along the way, it's conveniently in the same complex as the aquarium which is great. We got a photo album, was abit pricey at $50 with only a few photos but makes a good keepsake and comes in a book with animal facts and stickers. Would recommend coming here through quiet times as you'll get a much more memorable experience.

I went with my 3 and a half sons and it was great. Right in front of Darling Harbor and easy to find. There were a lot of kinds that were hard to see in Korea and it was okay to go and enjoy with baby. I went in at about 2 o'clock, but when the 2:30 was a koala, I listened to the koala's explanation and touched it at 3 o'clock. Crocodiles are very large and snake bats, as well as rat quarks found in Australia. Please note that a little big children. I didn't have time for the aquarium next to it.

You can walk through the zoo in an hour but it was fantastic. Heaps to see. There's the most beautiful tropical butterfly area as you enter! And the huge salt water croc! Great for kids and also highly enjoyable for adults!

Didn't have much time but got through it in 40mins. Went on a Monday morning and it wasn't to busy. Get a 4 attractions pass online as it's cheaper and 3 of the attractions are in the same building.

Overall a really lovely walkthrough experience. It has a great spread of animals to see. It took myself and my partner 2 and a half hours to do while spending more than average time observing the animals. That included the crocodile talk/feed and koala talk.

Perfect for seeing local animals, when you are not interested in animals from around the world. The zoo is well organized and flow of visitors is good. We loved the individual talks at each major area, and the chance to interact directly with the animals. All staff were friendly and clearly enjoyed their work.

Great place to visit with kids during school holidays. While you're there visit the aquarium and madam Tussauds with a multi pass. Get in early otherwise gets very packed. Only negative is the closing time, which I think should be extended during school breaks.

It was great and we really enjoyed getting closer to the animals. Zoo keepers are all very interesting and friendly and it was great taking photos with koalas and getting closer to them. There are plenty of animals to look at and if you have no time to go the bigger Syndey zoo - this is certainly worth visiting for a couple of hours.

A great zoo for learning about Australian wildlife! The animals clearly love their zookeepers and volunteers, and it's obvious why--the staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time, learned a lot, and got to see many quirky and adorable animals up close! The zookeeper talks throughout the day are also definitely worth attending!

This zoo has some pretty good exhibits but aren't necessarily worth the price. There are many different areas with multiple things you can do in the zoo but seeing everything and getting through it takes about 1hr 30mins if you're not waiting around. For the $38 that I paid, it wasn't in my opinion worth the price... maybe $20. Water is pretty expensive too, around $5 a bottle that's normally worth $3.

Fun place to go and worth a look if in the area for a while but be mindful of the cost so you're not surprised.

I went to Wild Life because it was included in the pass I bought. That being said, it was worth it. If I had to pay the ticket individually I think I would not, because there are few animals .. (even more compared to Taronga Zoo). But it should be noted that koalas are very close (yields good photos) and the area of the crocodile is very cool too. Only place we saw that giant crocodile. / I went to the Wild Life as it was included in the pass I bought. So worth it. If I had to pay the ticket individually I think I would not go as it has a few animals .. (compared to the Taronga Zoo). But it should be noted that the koalas stays in an area very close to us (good pictures) and the crocodile area is very cool too - only place where we saw the giant crocodile.

This place has its charms.

This place has its charms.
I reckon if you turn up with some kids,
follow the talks that flow through the day,
you'd get decent value for your entry cost.

I've only been there with a yearly all inclusive ticket.
So we just pop in and check out what's new or the kids
favourites and get on with something else.

Most recently the "Merlin Annual Pass Australia" on discount is good.

Kangaroos, Koalas, and many more Aussie creatures in a tight space. While tight spaces make this an easy tour, it will at times make you wish the animals had more space or even better - were able to reside in their natural habitat.

OMG, this place was amazing. I saw my 1st Kola, and baby kangaroos. I understand the actual zoo in Sydney Australia is way more awesome, but we didn't have enough time. This is enclosed, but the animals have the feel of outdoors. Don't think you'll be disappointed.

It's nice to have time to see kangaroos up close
Koalas sleep a lot, but if you're lucky you can also see them awake

Sydney Wild Life Zoo was really a fun experience. Stone friends told us to go visit before we left Sydney and I'm so happy that we did. It was nice to see the indigenous animals of Australia. The zoo was sweet up very well and centrality located near the harbour. We took the Hop On Hop Off and spent most of the day exploring the zoo.

It's a small zoo that's good for visitors from outside Australia who just want to see mostly smaller animals unique to Australia. That said it is still a good zoo. If you want a bigger zoo with large and small animals, go to Taronga.

We booked the breakfast with the koalas experience - we found it to be good value. The tour was very educational. Stand outs were the butterfly enclosure and the huge crocodile. What we liked about the zoo the most was their obvious love and care of the resident animals and the zoo's contribution towards conservation.

Great place to get a better understanding of the local fauna. They have everything from poisonous snakes to cuddly koalas. Unfortunately when I went, the salt water crocodile just recently passed away.

SWEET zoo in the middle of the city. Amazing how much you fit in what looks like a relatively modest building from the outside! Koala experience is wonderful and this is a great option for visitors who can't get the the big Australia Zoo. Your sustainability mission is so critical, especially with Australia in the midst of bush fires that are made so much worse by climate change. In light of your mission and the huge number of visitors you see each year, I beg of you to stop selling single use plastic - especially plastic water and drink bottles in your cafe and onsite. You have the perfect platform to tell people why you are making this change and to lead by example.
