Make sure you go in early to redeem tickets. Buy tickets from the Tourist Information centres to avoid the long queue for tickets. There is a special lane for prepaid tickets.
Wild life was a bit disappointing. Was looking forward to more animals like the dingo and more snakes. Insects like the spiders have been totally left out.
Really good experience. I learned, enjoyed and interacted with Australian animals.
Get in early so you can here the interesting animal talks can have photos taken with the koals and it has cafe to buy food and drink at
Many animals. Great guides but would recommend going early to listen to all guide's talks.
So many fluffy animals and a great way to do the local wildlife experience without the full day of taronga zoo
Smaller version of madame tussaud
Meet Obama gandhiji sachin
Small but good
A fairly well maintained zoo, worth visiting at least once. It does not compare to the Taronga Zoo, but still a must visit.
Not much of animals, just the main ones were there. I loved the aquarium thou then the wild life
Small place for a zoo. But in the center of the city.
If you didn't get a chance to see a kangaroo or a Koala then head there
We loved this place.Beautiful place to enjoy with a young family!Small zoo to see a great variety of Australian wildlife.Great experience.
This is not what I expected in the middle of downtown Sydney. This zoo was actually pretty great! I really enjoyed all of the I loved that they stared us going through the butterflies and ended with the sweet koala bears. Definitely check this zoo out if you don't have a lot of time to spend in Sunset, it's worth it.
Got this in a package together with the Sealife Aquarium, and that made it worth the money. I also didn't expect that kangaroos and koalas would be within touching distance everywhere! The koalas in particular were great. The crocodile enclosure was also a fun (but slightly unnerving) experience, given how huge their specimen was.
For a city zoo it offers a lot. Friendly staff and interactive
2nd visit for Breakfast with Koalas, just as great as the first time. The opportunity to explore at your own leisure is a great experience.
My 2y/o loves getting to see the crocodile under water. The annual pass pays for itself in quick weekend trips.
It was alright, but honestly you could give it a miss it's quite small most animals are reptiles
The croc was the coolies part
After a bad experience, got to go behind the scenes... Was amazing. 100% guarantee to go back!
This is the place to see Australian animals. The design of exhibits mimics their natural habitats whilst ensuring the wide range of reptiles, birds, butterflies and mammals on display are easy to see. Highlights include the butterfly forest, the opportunity to get up close to the crocodile, the Kangaroo walk about, and noctural section. There are also opportunities to see the Tasmanian Devil's being fed, have a close encounter with a koala and feed a rainbow lorikeet. The space is wheelchair and pram accessible, has clean amenities, and small cafe. A slow wander around would take about an hour and a half.
It has good accessibility in the city center, and the space is used to closely observe animals that can only be seen in Australia.
Great experience for our young family. Loved the walk with the kangaroos and emus and the butterfly pen.
Not worth the money.and I didn't like that the animals live behind glasses in the middle of the city.
It is a good zoo for children of elementary school age to enjoy during vacations and weekends. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to go around, so it's safe to walk and it's an indoor zoo.
The enclosures are definitely too small for the animals, even if the keepers put a lot of effort into them. Only a certain number of people should be allowed in at the same time. Because you always walk through the zoo in a narrow corridor, the background noise is very high, which I think is also a shame for the animals ... In the butterfly garden, care should be taken to ensure that visitors do not take the animals by their wings, because these can then no longer fly !!!!
Very awesome experience. Combine it with Taronga Zoo and you get two very great chances to see local and exotic animals and reptiles. This location at Sydney Wild Life is more kid friendly but great for adults too. Especially the Kangaroo Walk About and the up close Crocodile experience.
Lovely place to visit. More enjoyable than sealife. Educational too
Totally enjoyable, do not miss the encounter with koalas, unforgettable, ..
There were very few animals . Not worth the money or the time.
Good day with very knowledgeable staff..... Rockie the salt water croc was amazing. Only criticism could be viewing windows cleaned better. Lots of dirt / Moss blocking views on many things.
Well organized but not so much to see. Little interaction with animals possible.
Might as well go to Taronga, similar price but much better quality, animals, food, entertainment etc.
Great day out for the kids. Highly recommend for all ages.
Lovely place for young and old. You'll love the new view in very close proximity of the wild like. It's near the Sydney harbour
Who wants to see the native Australian animals is right here. However, daily count on many visitors. Inexpensive is the ticket when combined with other attractions in the immediate vicinity
My boyfriend and I attended the Breakfast with Koalas and it was an amazing morning! Despite an early start, it is well worth it for the experience that the Wild Life Sydney Zoo has created. From a guided tour, to up close photos with the koalas and then time to explore the zoo before the public is allowed in, all of this created an amazing morning that we both loved. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I was able to learn about the animals and attend the talks after as they line up perfectly with each other.
The koala rooftop experience is the best. You can see animals ambassadors such as Wombat, Koala, Tasmanian Devil, Cassowaries, and Platypuses
Very child friendly, went for a excursion with 15 children; it was a nice day.
It looks tired and and didn t see a lot of enrichment for the animals, also the tasi devils didn t look well at all.. :(
Great for a quick and up close view of Australian animals as part of a day out. My kids, 8 and 5, really enjoyed it. It took us about 1.5 to 2 hrs, taking our time (the kids made us go back the start and see everything twice).
A must visit if you are visiting Sydney. Lots to see and do. Best deal is the combined ticket for wildlife park and aquarium.
It's enough to meet koalas and kangaroos in such a city.
A wonderful facility; staff members are friendly and helpful.
NOT worth the price of admission. Everything here is claustrophobic and glassed in. I felt like the animals did not have enough room in each of their enclosures. I felt more concerned for their welfare rather than fascinated by Australian native wildlife. While the animals did not appear to be unhealthy or harmed in any way, it still just felt like the poor creatures might have a better chance elsewhere. If you DO decide to go, make sure you find a deep discount or find a good package deal because it doesn't take long to get through the exhibits. Also, it's difficult to see many of the animals especially if there are heaps of people in a location.
A small zoo with expensive entrance fee. The huge crocodile, cute koalas, lazy kangaroos, and the tazmanian devil were my faves.
Informative, well maintained and friendly staff.
Make sure you get the Breakfast with Koalas tour. Early guided tour of the zoo before it opens to the public.
Visitors here while we were on holiday from Scotland what a fantastic zoo!!!
Quite spacious and clean for kids to run around however the place is smaller and less animals than expected. Bathroom is clean, disable toilet had baby changing table. 1st visit for whole family and we had a great time.
I enjoyed it very much
You can take a picture with koala
It is charged
Right size for a visit with children. Close to the city center. Easy to get some offer for the tickets.
Good place for children to see the animals like snakes, crocodile, kangaroo, koala etc. It is right next to Madame Tussauds and Sydney Aquarium.
What an experience it was! Me from South Africa to see what creatures and animals are only in AUS. Awesum. From the snakes spiders mice rats to the parrots kangaroo and omw the Koala. Thank you for my experience.
We did the zoo dining experience and it was very fun and educational! Jessica was an excellent tour guide and was very enthusiastic and passionate for all the animals! Definitely recommend trying the dining experience
Definitely recommended! One can even touch and click pictures with Kangaroo:))
Njoyable day outing... special mention for 'crocodilo' as my DD wud pronounce..must visit for kids
It is a fulfillment level that I can't think of as a city center. I was worried because I saw a description that there were many animals sleeping in other comments, but around 10 am to 11 am when I visited the park, the koalas were also actively moving and there were many cute appearances It was! After 12 o'clock, it seems that many of the mammals were rounded in the shade.
People who have travel plans are recommended because it can be enjoyed in about 2 hours if only the main ones are selected. There are many indoor paths, so you can save your physical strength. Lol
As a personal request, I thought it would be nice if there was a donation box for environmental conservation at the end of the route! The last time I went home, I couldn't find it ...
I would like to apply in another way.
Great experience got to see some really cute koalas and Roos! You get to move at your own pace even if it s a bit crowded.
Thanks for letting us meet these guys! It was definitely a great way to end our Aussie trip.
Not that great. I mean you will not get to see variety of animals.
Breakfast with Koalas and the guided tour was amazing. Well worth the cost.
I came with a school group and organised it was excellent kids loved it they got to touch some of the animals and learn a lot about the wildlife
Removed it's only draw card of butterflies. Other zoos provide more animal experience and variety. Layout was confusing. Saw the same alligator twice from different angles at different stages of the walk through.
Get there early. Saw more animals here than at Taronga Zoo
