Make sure you go in early to redeem tickets. Buy tickets from the Tourist Information centres to avoid the long queue for tickets. There is a special lane for prepaid tickets.

Wild life was a bit disappointing. Was looking forward to more animals like the dingo and more snakes. Insects like the spiders have been totally left out.

This is not what I expected in the middle of downtown Sydney. This zoo was actually pretty great! I really enjoyed all of the I loved that they stared us going through the butterflies and ended with the sweet koala bears. Definitely check this zoo out if you don't have a lot of time to spend in Sunset, it's worth it.

Got this in a package together with the Sealife Aquarium, and that made it worth the money. I also didn't expect that kangaroos and koalas would be within touching distance everywhere! The koalas in particular were great. The crocodile enclosure was also a fun (but slightly unnerving) experience, given how huge their specimen was.

This is the place to see Australian animals. The design of exhibits mimics their natural habitats whilst ensuring the wide range of reptiles, birds, butterflies and mammals on display are easy to see. Highlights include the butterfly forest, the opportunity to get up close to the crocodile, the Kangaroo walk about, and noctural section. There are also opportunities to see the Tasmanian Devil's being fed, have a close encounter with a koala and feed a rainbow lorikeet. The space is wheelchair and pram accessible, has clean amenities, and small cafe. A slow wander around would take about an hour and a half.

The enclosures are definitely too small for the animals, even if the keepers put a lot of effort into them. Only a certain number of people should be allowed in at the same time. Because you always walk through the zoo in a narrow corridor, the background noise is very high, which I think is also a shame for the animals ... In the butterfly garden, care should be taken to ensure that visitors do not take the animals by their wings, because these can then no longer fly !!!!

Very awesome experience. Combine it with Taronga Zoo and you get two very great chances to see local and exotic animals and reptiles. This location at Sydney Wild Life is more kid friendly but great for adults too. Especially the Kangaroo Walk About and the up close Crocodile experience.

Who wants to see the native Australian animals is right here. However, daily count on many visitors. Inexpensive is the ticket when combined with other attractions in the immediate vicinity

My boyfriend and I attended the Breakfast with Koalas and it was an amazing morning! Despite an early start, it is well worth it for the experience that the Wild Life Sydney Zoo has created. From a guided tour, to up close photos with the koalas and then time to explore the zoo before the public is allowed in, all of this created an amazing morning that we both loved. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I was able to learn about the animals and attend the talks after as they line up perfectly with each other.

Great for a quick and up close view of Australian animals as part of a day out. My kids, 8 and 5, really enjoyed it. It took us about 1.5 to 2 hrs, taking our time (the kids made us go back the start and see everything twice).

NOT worth the price of admission. Everything here is claustrophobic and glassed in. I felt like the animals did not have enough room in each of their enclosures. I felt more concerned for their welfare rather than fascinated by Australian native wildlife. While the animals did not appear to be unhealthy or harmed in any way, it still just felt like the poor creatures might have a better chance elsewhere. If you DO decide to go, make sure you find a deep discount or find a good package deal because it doesn't take long to get through the exhibits. Also, it's difficult to see many of the animals especially if there are heaps of people in a location.

It is a fulfillment level that I can't think of as a city center. I was worried because I saw a description that there were many animals sleeping in other comments, but around 10 am to 11 am when I visited the park, the koalas were also actively moving and there were many cute appearances It was! After 12 o'clock, it seems that many of the mammals were rounded in the shade.
People who have travel plans are recommended because it can be enjoyed in about 2 hours if only the main ones are selected. There are many indoor paths, so you can save your physical strength. Lol

As a personal request, I thought it would be nice if there was a donation box for environmental conservation at the end of the route! The last time I went home, I couldn't find it ...
I would like to apply in another way.

Removed it's only draw card of butterflies. Other zoos provide more animal experience and variety. Layout was confusing. Saw the same alligator twice from different angles at different stages of the walk through.
