It is a nice club to participate in any event. But you cannot go directly there by MRT. there is a chance to visit with a member or attend an event it is great. We have visited for Oktoberfest but that is not the real club experience. It was in the ground with lots of fun and drinks.

Very nice and serene private club with tons of facilities, such as artificial grass courts, two swimming pools, ping pong table, paddle court, large football court, kids forest playground, restaurants & cafe with reasonable pricing, meeting rooms etc. etc. They are in the midst of some renovations currently, but the clubs ground is so large that the disturbances are actually pretty low. This is why they are offering a good discount at the memberships rates currently.

As a member I am enjoying the space at least once a week and play tennis with buddies followed by a dive in the pool and some good food afterwards. Go for it. :)

Not like you can just drop by the Swiss Club... But if you get a chance to visit with a member or attend an event it is great. You can always visit for Oktoberfest but that is not the real club experience. I had a lunch with a life member who had not been here in 5 years and the staff greeted him like family. It must be what it was like in Singapore for expats many years ago (and today for those who can afford it)

I am not a member of this club; however, i have been at this location with some of my peers. Personally I am more of an AC (air conditioning)type and spending my time in the warm humidity was not my thing. But the majority of the people here seemed to enjoy it so i will overlook that. Otherwise a great place with many things to do.

The Swiss Club is the best club to relax! I love going there. The swim school there is also very good - i enjoy swimming with them. The restaurant is great and also the guest house is the best in Singapore - everyone there is smiling and nice.

interesting place; I m not a member but stayed in the hotel connected to it. hotel good, clean, solid service. there s 2 restaurants in the club; 1 for formal/fine dining (dress code) and 1 for just regular. the first one is good but small
Portions for some of the meals. The bottom one (casual) has larger menu and about same quality. The burger was excellent. I d recommend this place as a place to stay and has gold amenities connected to it, but it s nothing extremely special.

Food is below average...it's sad to experience that from the fame it used to have. Location is amazing and a proper management could turn that ship around. The general manager definitely has to be sent to charm school. Walks around to arrogant without greeting all guests only his VIP? Perhaps that's a new management strategy that's unknown to me...

Lots of activities and excellent food for family or entertainment with friends. Huge garden with club amenities to relax or burn the extra calories. All very well managed for your next private or company event. Rustic ambience with long history of Swiss Club in Singapore connecting all nationalities. Don't shy away from the Bukit Timah Nature next door, go explore to earn your bragging rights to share with others. Like it and do enjoy! Cheers.

Being a "life-long" member and regularly going to this place for the past 2 years, I'll try to keep this short and simple:

Pros:
1. Wide range of dishes, both Asian and Western
2. Excellent quality food
3. Newly renovated 25m pool w/ springboard (as of this review)
4. Friendly staff and service
5. Great place to organize bigger events (they'll make food exactly how you want it)

Cons:
1. Frequently understaffed during peak hours
2. All seating areas are based outside with the majority of the tables having at least a roof over the head (personally not a contra for me, however can be a problem to those who prefer air conditioned seating areas)
3. Prices of everything are above average

At the end of the day I'd give the Swiss Club 4.5/5 stars, however I can't do that and the contra of the club being frequently understaffed weighs too much down on the overall experience. Still an excellent club nonetheless.
