Ms Sandy Mondesir the director is very unprofessional & rude, my son came to the program 2 minutes late & she wouldn t let him in, mind you I am a working parent just like everyone else & had to have my son come sit at my job for the entire day instead of being in his holiday camp program learning & interacting with kids his age. She sarcastically said to me Do you know what happens to kids that are late? They don t come in!! With a stupid smirk on her face As if it was a joke, extremely unprofessional, since that day when I come to pick up my son she gives me an ugly stare instead of a hello, this is 2nd issue with Ms Mondesir. After speaking to a few parents I noticed I am not the only one that she has been rude & unprofessional with I have reached out to her supervisor & haven t gotten a respond as of yet. Over all this is an outstanding problem Ms Christina & the remaining stuff are amazing, very polite & respectful!!!

I had a job interview there a few weeks ago. It was the most tacky and ghetto interview experience I've ever had in my life. Right off the bat I didn't like the interviewer. She had VERY negative energy! During the interview her staff was making cotton candy for a party and I had to yell my responses over the loud machine. Tacky! People kept coming in and out of the room continuously interrupting the conversation. The staff appeared rude & unkempt. To make matters worse, they were offering the LOWEST salary I would have made in the last 10 years. After reading the overwhelmingly negative work reviews I wanted to skip this interview. ALWAYS go with you gut!

My son is a participant at PS 217 & there is no concept of being a supporter of the community with their stringent rules and policies. They have threatened to call the police when I communicated that I was stuck in traffic & would be 5 minutes late. They denied my son access to the program when we arrived 8 minutes late.

This is a horrible program. It stinks and has horrible maintenance. The place is infested with rats, flies, and waterbugs. The staff are nasty, and when the kids are outside they don't bring any first aid kits. The staff hit children purposefully and they lie on the kids.The director is malicious and rude to the kids and parents.
