Sweet Butter Kitchen is popular neighborhood eatery that is small in size but big on deliciousness! Serving breakfast, their pancakes are a must have, lunch and dinner from salads to sandwiches, as well as amazing dinners and wonderful wine selection. Don t forget to pick up their amazing, homemade pastries.

Great seating, the pastries were also nice. But I didn t enjoy my sandwich dish and the coffee was unremarkable

I went here with a friend this past Saturday evening around 7 pm. The way it works is that you use your smart phone to scan a QR code to view their menu. When you are ready to order, you return to the cashier, tell them what you want and pay in advance. There was a sign saying that they didn't accept cash so we paid with a card. Later, they will bring your food to the table. What we liked was there was a heat lamp over our table so we weren't chilly. I had the 2 egg breakfast with chicken apple sausage and wheat toast with a black coffee. My friend had the waffles that he didn't like saying they tasted like ego waffles. Unlike my friend, I enjoyed the eggs and chicken sausage which were quite tasty but I wasn't keen on the tasteless toast nor the small sized not great coffee. While the cashier and staff were nice and the outdoor tables clean and warm on a chilly evening, I probably won't return.

I really enjoyed this place. I liked the atmosphere, the guy who took our order at the cashier to the service we received with the waitstaff. I will say that it felt a little weird while my friend and were having our meal to have people waiting for their tables so blatantly in front of us watching, that the management team may want to re-examine that whole process. The food was good, hence the four stars. It wasn't the absolute best I ever had, but wouldn't mind visiting this place again.

They are the best breakfast cafe in the valley. The food is excellent, my favorite is the brioche French toast. The berries are always fresh. The Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The way they run the restaurant everything is always smooth and pleasant when dining in or ordering take out.The ambiance and presentation is wonderful. It DOSENT get any better than sweet butter kitchen.. and the desserts and pastries!!! You just have to go find out for your self.. the only minor downside is sometimes it may take a while to be seated but the atmosphere is nice and food is great so you don t mind the wait... sweet butter kitchen is a Must GO!

The most lovely place in Sherman oaks. Owned by this Brazilian girl who s super sweet and friendly. Super recommend.
