The waiting room in the ER can take forever, but I feel like that is to be expected. After I made it through the waiting room, the nurses and doctors who treated me were kind, caring and attentive. This was my 2nd time in the ER at Sweedish Edmonds and I think they do a great job!
I have been taken to Swedish Edmonds ER several times and one time I was admitted to the hospital. I couldn t have received better care anywhere else. They are so attentive and keep you informed what and why they are doing different procedures. The doctors and nurses are wonderful. When I need to go to the ER that is where I will continue going.
I just went here I m a chronic illness patient and something is going on with my liver and kidneys. I waited four hours, everyone else was being taken back but me. I am now going to UW hospital because I fainted and no one did anything that s when we knew we had to leave. My boyfriend went and got the car and I barely made it to the car. Please if you re really sick don t go here unless you have a death wish.
I wanted to share my outstanding experience yesterday with the ER (thank you Dr. Jones, Jenna, Taylor, Chrissy and Mike!) and then transfer for same day surgery. All of the hospital team members were beyond AMAZING! Huge shout out to Isaac, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Chan, Zack, Hannah, Ann, Elsie, Lyubka and Sarah who took excellent care of me! I hope not to be back anytime soon...lol but if needed I won t be nearly as nervous next time around thanks to my experience yesterday!
Terrible. Do not come here for yourself or take a loved one here. You will find yourself relating to all the one- star reviews. This hospital also has a base rating of 2.8, which, to put into perspective is a lower rating than most establishments I ve seen on Google, including places with higher crime rates (muggings and smash and grabs in the parking lots) averaging in the 3s. Think about that for a moment. Collectively, people are finding this hospital to be more criminal in practice than actual criminals. The irony of a hospital of all places to be the least humane is beyond words.
If you are in Edmonds, do the extra drive to Providence hospital instead. It is not perfect by any means but the treatment there is the difference of night and day. The ratings don t lie. Also, Providence is at least 3.8.
The Emergency Dept is is always so efficient. The nurses and doctors have always been kind and thorough. We appreciate them all very much and the care they give.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!
I was supposed to have an endoscopy procedure here. I get there and they were unable to apply an IV correctly. They had to poke me twice, after that they later noticed the machine was broken and cancelled my appointment. Then they scheduled me for the procedure five weeks later. They called me back a few days before the rescheduled procedure to let me know the machine is still broken. Now I am supposed to wait for them to call me back. I have really bad symptoms and they know. I just feel like this has been a joke to them. I can t believe the lack of professionalism throughout the whole process. Never coming back!
I needed emergency attention and was in sever pain from an injury to my hand. The response was prompt and extremely professional. The staff explained the extent of the injury, procedure needed, and options. They listen to my input. A specialist was called and a follow up surgery was setup. I greatly appreciated the quick, professional, and friendly service.
