Jeff Swain was very professional and helpfully creative when discussing plans for the pool setup, deck and stadium steps.

The workmanship throughout the entire process was excellent, from the concrete slab under the pool, to the finished deck.

Swain cleans my parents pool weekly and does a great job! They show up prepared in a full size cargo truck so they can even do repairs if needed. Much more professional than others that I ve seen in disorganized pickups.

My bathroom hot tub was malfunctioning. The guys came out promptly and searched for an access point to fix it. They crawled under the house; they searched until they found it. They did it cheerfully and optimistically. They said "we got this." And they fixed the valve perfectly. I highly recommend Swain pools for people who want excellent, upbeat services at a reasonable price.

The motto on the Swain truck says, "We are not the cheapest, but we are the least expensive," and that is so true. Swain requires a deposit on your credit card up front and has a hefty fee for traveling 17 miles to my place in an adjoining county. However, they accommodated my schedule when I could be off work and that is major to me. Brian was friendly and competent, "chumming" the sand in my pool filter, a Swain invention. He quickly determined my hot tub needed a new heater and had it
immediately available to install, because their truck is well-stocked with parts. When no one else wanted to move my Hot Springs hot tub from one house to another, Swain said "yes." They had the equipment to do it. Again, not cheap, but professional and dependable.

Our recent spa purchase presented many challenges to Swain Pools and Spas. All representatives were knowledgeable, and resolved matters as quickly as possible.

Swain Pools resurfaced and remodeled our pool and deck, installed new pump and cleaner equipment and installed a new drainage system around our pool and deck. The people from Swain were friendly and professional. The owner Jeff Swain was involved from beginning to end. Not just a salesman but a craftsman, a true professional and a very hard worker. Excellent customer service. Felt like they took a lot of pride in their work and were grateful for our business. We designed a comprehensive plan together, with their professional input (they were not pushy at all) Then Jeff Swain and his crew did exactly what they said they would do and did in on time and on budget - no problems, no hitches. Very friendly and cooperative and trustworthy. The finished product was outstanding - met all our expectations. Once the pool was completed we even signed up for their monthly service. We wholeheartedly recommend Swain Pools to our friends and neighbors - without hesitation or equivocation. Would use them again in a New York minute.

We are very happy with the above ground pool and deck that Swain Pools installed for us a couple of years ago. Jeff Swain knows pools from inside out. The pool has a jet on each side creating a current that sends trash straight to the filter. We opted for a chemical free pool, using a large and powerful pump/filtration system, that Swain told us about. And because our home site is very wooded, we decided on a heater. Everything is working great. Swain gave us good recommendations for our particular situation, did a great job building and installing the pool and deck and they are always there with a phone call. We wanted a pool that was easy to care for and that's what Swain pools provided. If you want the cheapest, don't call Swain. If you want a professional job and lasting service, call Swain.

I called Swain because I wanted to set up a quarterly service to have my hot tub cleaned. The person I talked to on the phone was knowledgeable and courteous. They sent out Bryan and Jaden who had great recommendations and were a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to using them in the future for upcoming projects.

My pool in my new home was declared "in great shape" by a local cheap company in their inspection. The equipment leaked and made horrible noises and the pool itself was nothing more than a pond and the jets and skimmer clearly did not work properly. Another company that is a little more expensive declared the same- "in great shape" , when it was in obvious need of repair and proceeded to bash other companies while pitching his own. I called Swain and, although more expensive, there was a clear difference in knowledge and engineering of the system. I have a new pool, essentially, thanks to Swain and they do my weekly maintenance as well. Very professional and knowledgeable service was undoubtedly worth the few extra bucks and I could not be happier. Swain Pools- best in town and worth the extra money easily. You get what you pay for.

The owner, the management and the technicians all work for one common goal- to make the customers experience the best that it can be! I have a spa that I got from Swain's and they do all the maintenance on it. It is so nice not to have to worry with all the chemicals and testing and this and that. When we want to get in our spa, we flip the lid and it is ready for relaxing. If we ever do have a problem, 1 call to the office and it is handled promptly. Cannot say enough good stuff about these folks! If you are thinking about a pool, a spa, an upgrade, need service or need a repair, do not waste your time calling anyone else. We had originally only wanted to replace our vinyl liner, but we decided to add more to the project to completely restore our pool and deck area. Jeff Swain and his crew ended up removing trees, relocating shrubs, extending the concrete, applying Cool Coat, adding pavers, adding a set of stairs into the pool where there were none, and replacing the pump and filter. That wasn't all, but those were the major pieces. It certainly wasn't cheap, but the price was reasonable for the very significant amount of work we had done. I highly recommend him and his team.

Wanted 200$ deposit unrefundable, to just do a simple estimate. No other pool company in the area requires this. Also took 4-5 days and never responded to email.

We wanted to get more use out of our pool. The old equipment badly needed replacing and the pool chemicals irritated my wife's skin. We were thinking of converting to a salt water pool but heard that they had issues also. So after searching for a pool service, we selected Swain Pools. Mr. Swain does charge to come out and give an estimate BUT it is money very well spent. He spent over an hour with us outlining pros and cons of various options. His knowledge of pool systems is encyclopedic. He told us of all the advantages of the different pool systems including chemical free pools and the best type of heating system. Bottom line: Within a little over a week, his crew completely modernized our pool with a new chemical free system. We could not be happier. His crew were professional, courteous, and very skilled. Everything came together like clockwork. Mr. Swain's motto is "We are not the cheapest but we are the least expensive" which perfectly sums up our experience. Highly recommended!

Rude, dishonest and overpriced. After waiting 8 days after they said they d send someone out the owner said they had to prod me & reach out 3 times to get me to consent for services. A blatant lie- no one ever acted me ever until after I wrote a review on yelp. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business if you can call it a business. Read all the google reviews. Insinuating I can t write a coherent sentence because of autocorrect is just the kind of statement that reflects their true character.

I inquired about getting a estimate for a new pool deck on my pool. I received a phone call saying that if I paid $185 they would come out and do the estimate. I don t think this is a very good business practice.

Knowledgeable, professional, innovative. Swain upgraded my 20+ year old pool to state of the art filtering and heating. The pool had been lying stagnant for weeks by the time the project was finished, and it looked it. Swain s sand filtering system had it sparkling clear in less than 24 hours. Few if any chemicals are needed to keep it that way. I have a salt water chlorinator but I seldom have to use it. The first time I turned on the heat pump, it raised the water temperature form 56 to 77 degrees in under 18 hours. Swain totally revamped the plumbing, with easy to understand valve placement that permitted installation of a solar powered pump and eliminated the need for two inefficient electric pumps. Great job all around.

Everything about Jeff and Swain Pools is top notch. Not only is Jeff extremely courteous and professional, he is fair, honest and dependable. He takes the time to walk you through any options you might have when needing his services and goes the extra mile to make sure what you decide is in your best interest. We tried other pool service companies in town before finding swain Pools. Some were unreliable, some didn't appear to have a staff that knew what they were doing. Since we started using Swain Pools for repair and service of our below ground pool years ago, our pool has never looked better in terms of water clarity. Every time Jeff has rendered advice as to what to do or how to do it, it has been spot on. This has saved us a lot time, aggravation and money.

They were friendly and patient in explaining the various hot tubs and features available, helping us to select the right hot tub for our home. I highly recommend Swain pools and Spas to anyone considering a new pool or renovation of an existing one. My 20 year old pool was losing water and in need of a new liner. After meeting with Jeff Swain I was convinced that his 30 plus years in the business made him the most knowledgeable and experienced person to handle the job. His crew was friendly, competent and despite rain delays were able to complete the project on time. Jeff came by every day his crew worked, often more than once, to inspect the work, trouble shoot unforeseen problems and provide progress reports. He was personally involved with a very exacting measuring process that resulted in a near perfect liner fit and was on site to help with the installation, wading in the pool filling with fresh water on the coldest day of the winter. I am thoroughly pleased with the results and cannot say enough good things and Jeff and his company.

Working with Swain pools for my Hot Tub installation was a great experience. from the purchase all the way thru the completion of the install, the team was very professional. There were supply chain delays due to Covid issues, but once the tub was delivered, everything went perfectly, in fact ahead of schedule. the install team led by the company owner did a great job. i'd highly recommend this business.
