two days ago was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the magnificent meal and booze and with the friendly payment. We will surely visit there soon.

Extremely long wait, people that arrived after me were seated before me, had to fuss with the host about this. Their kitchen staff seems to barely be able to keep up with the food requested from tables and some tables clearly had impatient and hungry diners at them. That said, however, the food was pretty good. A bit pricey but was pleased with the quality.

Hosts here are nicer than in the sister restuarant Kabuso... which is the main reason I like this restaurant better. Spacious enough to not feel crowded even with full. RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST, even on a Monday the waiting time is 45 mins without one. Yummy, fresh but a bit over priced for me. Rolls were $17-$20 which is the priced I pay at Tao in hollywood....def my fav sushi spot in the valley though!

My friends and I accidently stumbled upon this restaurant, and we were so glad that we did :-) everything we ate was amazing. Brussel sprout tempura, vegan roll was out of this world. Nice cozy place, small but cute. Food quality and service were both 5 star worthy.

Very, very good service. It is small so you may have to wait sometimes. Food is very good.
People's standards are on the floor nowadays when giving review stars. I have been to many 4+ stars sushi places that wouldn't reach to maybe 2 when compared to this restaurant.

What poor service. Been here before and wanted to try again. Daughter who lives in LA called and was told no reservations for a thursday night but if we showed up before 6pm which we did. No problem seating us. We showed up at few minutes before 6 and was turned away. Lost me for life.

Yuzu and Kobosa are our neighborhood gems!!! Our group of friends go there all the time!!! It s the best, and we are picky. During quarantine many of us have a place that we want to go to when we can all eat out again, for our group it s Yuzu every time! I call it my Disneyland, it s my happy place as soon as I walk in the door. Miss you guys! See you all soon

This place is always packed and the quality of their sushi is really good, every time you go there you need to wait for at least 30 minutes or more but there is reason for it, I wish they start taking reservation this make everybody life easier.
Did at this place is not cheap but is worth the money.

The food was awesome! We had a long wait. We had a table right on the curb side of the side walk, and they let cars park right up against the tables. That was so disappointing. No one from the restaurant would tell those idiots to move their car. When the passenger got out, their door hit our table. I will not go back.

Best sushi place i have had so far, and I eat sushi, like, a lot. Service is great, sushi is amazing, but sashimi... Is spectacular, you HAVE TO TRY THE SASHIMI, no other sushi place will taste the same after that, it is so good you don't have to enhance the flavor with anything, no spicy mayo or eel sauce or anything, as it comes, is perfect, they also have a good selection of sakes and beers, ambient is ok for families, but I'd recommend it better for dates or night out with friends.

The Sushi was super fresh and delicious! I recommend eating at the bar. You'll appreciate the chef's expertise and interaction. Making reservations is recommended because there is limited seating.

I usually don't write reviews for restaurant experiences, even when the experience is unsatisfactory, but our latest encounter with this restaurant should be noted. I have been to Sushi Yuzu a number of times and have always enjoyed their food, however I will not be going back. Tonight, my girlfriend and I decided to go to Sushi Yuzu, and saw there was a quite a wait for a table so we opted for takeout. The server who was helping place our order let us know the food would take about 30 minutes to prepare, and delibrately took down our cell number to call or text when the order was ready. No problem there, however, as we waited close to an hour, my girlfriend and I felt maybe they had forgotten our order. Come to find out our food was sitting on a table in the middle of the restaurant for what seemed to be over 30-40 min. When we asked why they didn't text or call to let us know (like they had said), the same person who gave us the instructions smugly replied, "we're busy and we do not do such a thing". Are you kidding? You gave us those specific instructions! We didn't get an apology or any sort of answer other than to just deal with it. When we asked how long the bag was sitting there, the same guy goes, "uh, just like 5 minutes", when we had been staring at it for the 30 minutes we had been waiting. We would have asked earlier, but considering Covid and only allowing so few people in, we relied on the restaurant letting us know when it was ready like they had said. Then, when we asked for a refund and gave back the cold food, again there was no apology but instead a feeling of indifference and arrogance. We wern't looking for a free meal or anything, but certainly more than just a "take it or leave it" approach. Sadly, we will not be coming back to this awfully run establishment. We are not picky people, I get establishments can have off nights, but they could have cared less about their customer service.

The best sushi you can have. Period. Very fresh and delicious food although on the pricey side compared to other sushi restaurants. The expensive price justifies the food but make sure you make reservations ahead of time or you'll be waiting for almost an hour or more to be seated.

So all of the reviews are accurate! The sushi here is delicious! Inventive too, which is so nice, considering most sushi places "special rolls" pretty much just cater to the American pallet of "throw something fried in it!" Everything was amazing!

Best sushi I ve ever had!!! The food is great the staff is wonderful. The place is kind of small, and there s always a wait. I suggest making a reservation prior. There s limited parking, and street parking isn t that good either. Overall, the wait and the parking issue is worth it. The sushi is a little pricey but it is worth what you pay for as well.

This place is really special to my husband and me. We have celebrated a few special occasions here throughout the years. We've come for a few Valentine's days, birthdays, job promotions etc.

The quality of the food here is so delicious to the point where it's so good where your eyes close while you eat kind of good! The lobster roll, lemon roll and oyster shooters and the salmon crispy rice are a must!

Rsvp ahead of time (maybe a week ahead) or expect to wait for at least 30 minutes on any night. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant.

Great place. Pretty standard sushi place which for me means really good. My basic rules, avoid sushi places with rock, or rocknroll in the name. Those places usually cover their rolls in glorified mayonnaise and have cream cheese in their rolls. Sushi Yuzu had little of this. The fish is where it is at for me and the tuna was "on point" as they say. I love miso soup and theirs was top notch, great flavor and it had a little smokiness that was different but a nice touch.
They had a great decent priced sake menu to boot. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have warm towels. That is such a nice touch.

Definitely recommend this place, not the cheapest but at least it is good.
