Best experience hands down because of our waiter Carlos, definitely made a friend here in Louisiana
He's on point and he made sure everything was good with our food!

I don't usually do reviews thus the time lapse, but felt I had to do this one. I give Superior Steakhouse a 4.5.

On December 10th l took a small group of loved ones here for my grandmothers 98th birthday celebration. We sat in the wine room. The food was good. Our server, Carlos, was top notch and provided us with exceptional service. He tended to the 2 seniors in the group as if they were part of his own family. He was the icing on the birthday cake that night.

We had a great time!

Food was fine, nothing special for a high-end steakhouse, but still good. However the real issue involved the staff. I got a stain on my shirt (not uncommon at a steakhouse) and asked the server if there was a Tide or Shout stick she could provide. She looked at me like I had three heads, saying she didn't know what that was and then volunteered to bring me club soda -- for which she charged me $3 on the bill! Offended, I got up to tell the manager this, who was empathetic at first (and, by the way, brought me one of the many stain removal sticks they keep in the back) but then proceeded to spend 15 minutes with my check only to remove the $3. At least buy us a round of drinks for the hassle buddy. Poor form all around. We won't be returning.

That's how I would describe my experience.
I'm not one to post about places eat often, but I feel compelled to do so about this place.
I was not expecting to have such a good experience here.
I had the ribeye, probably one of the best pieces of meat I've ever eaten.
Everything else was equally as good.
Go eat here Asap.

We had a wonderful meal after the symphony, so happy they were open til 11pm. It ended my birthday superbly.

Service was among the best I ve received, and best food I ve had in Shreveport area. Start w/ the walnut salad.

The best thing about the steakhouse is the staff. Amazing servers, amazing management, amazing bartenders, and amazing cocktail waitresses. My review is only four stars because I don't *love* the menu. But I do like it, especially for lunch. The meatloaf is fantastic! And the lunch prices are very reasonable.

Service was excellent. Steak was overcooked. You can get a bigger lobster at Red Lobster. Very disappointing.

The atmosphere is everything here. Good food, good drinks, good service and live music. What more could you ask for.....loved it

I was in Shreveport for a few days and had the opportunity to eat at Superior Steakhouse. By far it was the best steak I have ever eaten. Their award wining blueberry margarita was outstanding also.

We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts and I was so disappointed. Everything was salty, garlicky, or lemony. The crab risotto had raw crunchy onions and only tasted of garlic and onion. They took it back after seeing the huge pieces of onion that they stated shouldn't have been in it, only to return with an exact version of it that tasted of more garlic and onion. The desserts tasted like they had been left out on a counter for a while. Not impressed at all. I'd only come back to sit at the bar for appetizers and drinks.

It was good. Just wasn't what I was expecting for Superior Steakhouse. Heard so many good things. I didnt get the steak I ordered but what I got was good. Loved the atmosphere.

A lunch place for locals. Some "cajun" dishes, mostly sandwiches served with chips. Desserts available. Pricey for what you get. I don't understand the draw to this place, but it is always busy. Stand in line to order at the counter and find a seat

Seriously the best steak ove ever eaten in my entire life. Hands down. Lovely server and see some atmosphere. Great wine rec that complimented my dry aged ribeye as well as the center cut filet. 10/5 stars.

Great food and ambiance. However, they didn't honor our anniversary request for a picture with the chef. Instead, they tried to trick us by sending a cook or dishwisher to take the picture. Not knowing, our son is a chef and we know chef attire. In an effort to not cause a disturbance, we took the picture anyway. However, we'll never return due to their integrity being an issue.

Great steak. This place is a little more upscale. On a 0-10 fancy scale I would give it a 7 or 7.5. I didn't notice a required dress code, but most everyone was in formal dinner wear, or at least business casual attire. It isn't really really expensive, but it ain't cheap. Expect to spend $30-$50 per person depending on the dish. Also surprisingly good hamburgers.

Always fantastic! The staff is impeccable and so helpful. The bartenders are in their A game. The martinis are to die for. If you go on Tuesday they are $5! Tini Tuesday is the best. We had their seared Ahintuna appetizer and it was delicious! Perfectly prepared and so tasty. The parking is always tight but they do have a valet. Get their early or have a reservation! Dont forget your wallet, it is a little pricey.

1st time visiting here..my meal was really good got the Louisiana bbq shrimp .I had a blueberry hibiscus margarita it's a must try..delicious! Definitely will return.

My 1st time here. My husband bragged immensely before we entered but he ordered 3 times and each time the poor waitress had to come back and tell him they were out. The service was not so great! I wont be back.

We had amazing service. No complaints there. My partner ordered the trout amandine which was delicious. The wine options were amazing too. My filet mignon however was a sore disappointment. When I first received the steak, I poked it to check the doneness. It didn t have the springiness of a properly cooked medium rare steak. Not only that the juices had leaked out of the steak and was all over the plate. The server asked me to cut into it, and the inside was indeed a medium rare but it was surrounded by a ring of well-done meat. This typically happens when the steak was not seared at high heat. For a thick steak, it needed high heat to trap juices then later lower temp to cook the inside to proper doneness. I suspect this steak was cooked at a medium temp the whole time, which also caused the juices to leak out of the steak. For a steakhouse it was a sore disappointment.

The Alaskan Halibut with crab meat risotto still calls my name. The best, most tasty risotto ever!

Had lunch. Place was elegant in style although quiet. Could be the pricey menu. Food was of very good quality in taste and preparation. Entree salads looked generous but other meals on the lighter portion size.

Celebrated my parents 60 th wedding anniversary last Saturday night. Atmosphere was fantastic. Had own private dining room. Our waiter Carlos was first class. He helped make the event very special and gave us all individual attention and even sang to my parents. He was very helpful with the menu and help with food selecton. Food was awesome!! Night to remember

So good. I visit Shreveport from Nashville and always have to stop in at Superior Steakhouse. Food is delish and the staff are always the best. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience everytime!

Wonderful evening celebrating my wife and I's anniversary. Service was excellent, food was spectacular and seemed worthy of the price tag.

It is pricey, but for the atmosphere and the quality of food, that's completely reasonable. Definitely a place for the celebratory times for me. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food and service. Mitch noticed our dad could not use both arms due to stroke he cut the salad and steak before they brought it out .By far the best place we have ever been !

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great. The environment is so comfortable. We sat in the fireplace room and it felt like being at home. The oysters were great, the steaks were perfect, and the Tableside Bananas Foster were to die for!

Love this place! Took my wife there for date night and she said it s probably the best steak she s ever had. I haven t ordered anything yet that was less than fantastic. Can t wait to go back.

First class food, service...everything. Pricey but great for special occasions

When your Mom wants something special for her 80th birthday lunch you can't beat Superior's Steakhouse in Shreveport.

My wife and I were sorely disappointed last night. The menu was extremely limited due to the restaurant being out of many items. The waiter seemed uninformed of the off the menu items. They didn't have the wine that we selected. The entree that we chose (mixed grill) was not good at all. With all the choices in Shreveport, we regretfully will not be returning to Superior. We've been here many times before.

This was my first time eating here. We went for lunch and it took an hour and a half to get out entrees. The food was so good but I don't like to sit around for 2+ hours for lunch... I will give it another chance though.

The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. Chose a side of roasted Brussel sprouts at our servers suggestion. They were almost as good as the steaks. Regarding our server. Too expensive for the quality of food... Won't spend $130.000 for dinner there ever again.

I have been here a few times for work dinners. Carlos is MY favorite server. He is beyond amazing and attentive! The food is always perfect. My food has always come out right the first time and is always hot. My drink never runs empty. This place is expensive but rememeber you get what you pay for.

Food was good service was ok from our waitress, could be improved. The eggs were over poached on the Benedict, but would recommend the shrimp and grits. The bloody Marys were really good as well as the fried green tomatoes with sauteed shrimp.

This place is amazing! Beautiful ambience and it was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. My husband and I came here for a private Christmas party which meant the courses are already planned. Well, I eat a plant based diet so I fully expected to just nibble on some side dishes. As a courtesy, I called to let them know that I d be ordering sides and much to my surprise, they told me that they would let the kitchen know. Again, fully expected steamed vegetables which I would ve been ok with. However, they literally prepared a full course of plant based food for me! None of it was on the menu but it absolutely should be because it was AMAZiNG!! The ratatouille was phenomenal!!! Kevin, the chef, came out after everyone was served dessert to see how I enjoyed the meals and I'm so glad he did! He is an amazing soul! Thanks for helping this gal to feel included in our party s 5 courses!! The hubs and I will certainly be back, even if I have to only eat the side dishes!!!

I was super excited to dine here after I hadn't been here in a few years, but was extremely disappointed when I left. I ordered the cajun pasta with shrimp. The pasta sauce was EXTREMELY watery. I'm not sure if that's the way they intended it but it was not creamy at all even though the menu stated that the pasta would be in a "cream sauce". What made it worse was the food was very bland. Literally no flavor at all in the pasta, sauce, or the shrimp. The pasta was also undercooked. I took 3 bites and couldn't stand eating anymore of it. Took the remainder home and ended up trashing it. I gave 2 stars because I ordered a drink (the hurricane) that was awesome, and the waitress was very sweet. I can't say I wouldn't recommend the place or wouldn't come back, but I for sure would never order the cajun pasta again. Who knows, maybe they just had a bad night.....I just wish I could have enjoyed the food that I paid for.

Very disappointing meal. Haven't dined here in several years, as I live about 5 hours away. I recommended Superior to my colleagues while in town on a work trip. One person's steak was ordered well (obviously not the best temp for a steak). It came out burnt to a crisp. I am talking black! She sent it back and the replacement was raw! I usually eat mine medium rare and I wouldn't have eaten that. It was purple throughout. I think they purposefully sent out the raw one. My fish was good but not indicative of the high price. Not likely to go back.

Food and service were outstanding. I've eaten at many top steak houses in Dallas, and this rivals those. Like a del Frisco's steakhouse in ambiance. I'd say comparable service, and I believe better food, price maybe a little better. 14 oz prime ribeye was filet tender, and most fat had been removed prior to plating, which I liked. The gouda grits were great, I'd order a side just for me next time.

Took my girlfriend for our anniversary, and everything we tasted was high-quality. We can tell a lot of thought goes into everything they're putting in front of you. The ambiance and presentation to the last detail was expertly executed. Our food was divine. Fried calamari was tender and done right, with a sauce that was outstanding. The California roll was an excellent accompaniment. I followed that with the burger, which was a perfect medium rare, and ever-so-lightly handled, not a single bit tough. She had the Maytag walnut salad, found it to be full of wonderful flavor pairings. And we both dug in to some broiled wild mushrooms. After that, we couldn't eat another bite, but we intend on returning, if only to sample the glory which must await us on the dessert menu.

I just applied for work here on this day, and was flattened by how immaculately clean and shiny everything was. I imagine the same amout of detail goes into the food. Looks like the kind of place to spend an evening of enjoyment to create a memory.

This is a great place to relax with your spouse or friends. Great food and good service. The steaks are so tender you can cut them very easily. Musice is good in bar area.

This is a classy restaurant in the southern part of Shreveport. If you're heading south on Line Avenue, it is on the left side of the street. My wife and I joined my sister for lunch on Thanksgiving Day and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is an ideal size---not too small or too large.

This place is fantastic! Service was quick and pleasant. We had the 20oz ribeye, creamed spinach, lobster bisque and wanted to try something different Lobster Sushi roll. Everything was phenomenal, the steak was one of the best steaks I've had. And I'm a foodie and have eaten at a lot of good place a across North America. The house wine selection was on point (not cheap tasting).

The bad was Lobster sushi roll, hence why didn't give 5/5. I mean why i order sushi at a steakhouse righr? But Given it's a high end restaurant and the ratings I was hoping the sushi would be awesome, in fact it was the opposite. Rice was dry, and couldn't actually taste the lobster. Maybe it was a bad batch but that being said we will definelty hit up this spot again. And highly recommended for steak lovers!

Nice ambiance and staff. FOOD was horrible. So disappointing because we expected the BEST. Very expensive and not worth it.
