I worked here part time from January to May and I cannot begin to even explain how terrible of a place this was. Very little communication between Co workers, everyone is in a hurry to finish their job & go home. When things are reported nothing is ever done because they re afraid to lose another person because they re already so short staffed. Do NOT waste your time sending your loved ones here

I have worked at Pilgrim Manor for 8.5 years. There are opportunities for learning & growth within this company. Healthcare communities are not without challenges and often have difficult decisions to make, I trust in the team of caregivers and their ability to support the residents here. We make every effort to have familiar caregivers and educate staff on a regular basis. I am proud of the care we provide and of who we are!
In fact, our Assisted Living was just awarded a National Quality Award for our continued efforts for improvement.

Please do not take your loved ones to this facility. We have had the worst experience from admission to discharge. The aids do not seem to understand what dementia is and the rest of staff is no better. Very little monitoring, lack of cleanliness, poor hygiene care for patients, lack of communication between staff members. Please if you really care - don't even consider this facility.

I worked here for a few months and when I first started management made the place out to be organized and such a good and enjoyable place to work, when it s no where near. When I first started I felt unwelcomed and had my doubts with the place but as any new job you have your doubts. I should have instead believed that gut feeling. Lots of the workers here are very unproductive and have no ambition or team effort at all. Lots of the people are just in it for the pay check and don t have the caring hands needed for that line of work. I would never consider putting any one of my family members in this facility

My grandmother (may she rest in peace) , spent a good amount of time here. From what she had told me, she liked being there. I am currently considering it for myself as my health is failing and I need the help.

My dad is in this place now because hospital sent him there to recover All the bad reviews above believe them. We should've taken him out of here the first day. It was 85*+ and no air in the room nor a fan. No supplies staff doesn't know their head from a hole in the ground. Please do not take your loved ones to this facility.

I work at this facility 2 years ago and quit because of being harassed. Then I just got rehired last month but then there was a death in my family so I had to take bereavement days but now they're telling me that I have to come in and redo my schedule because I did not even get to start because of the death of my family. So HR never gets back to you unless it is convenient for them. You leave an email but they never email you back. This place is a joke. I would not put my family member or pet here to be taken care of.

Pilgrim Manor is a great place to work! I've been here for 4 months, and everyone has been welcoming. The residents are happy and well cared for. The company's mission and values are apparent in how we conduct business from day-to-day.

I have worked at Pilgrim Manor for 13 years. I ve watched the toll the economy has played on staffing as well as the changes in Medicare and Medicaid making it more and more difficult for the elderly to receive the care they deserve. Through it all, each and every day, I find myself genuinely moved by the caring and compassionate staff at Pilgrim Manor. The old mindset of a retirement setting being the beginning of the end has been completely dispelled by the amazing Resident Activities Department who work tirelessly to ensure all residents live an abundant life!!! Take a tour and you will see residents socializing, going for walks together, playing games and participating in activities with the Activities staff. It s a beautiful thing!!!

Pilgrim Manor s Core Values are: Compassion, Hospitality, Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, and Transparency. These values are the foundation from which the staff's hard work and dedication to those we serve is built. And even though these values are applied differently for the work that each department does, it all translates to the same message that we at Pilgrim Manor genuinely care for the residents and staff that choose to live and work here.

This place is horrible the things I ve seen things first hand it s just nasty! My dad was a resident there and I m just not pleased , one day i wanted to go visit my dad and when I was walking down the hall I noticed one of the aids or nurses kicking something into one the residents room when I looked a little bit closer I noticed it it was a rat, I continued walking in shock and that I needed to speak to somebody asap about the situation. I don t recommend this place at all.

Other residents with dementia can accidentally or intentionally harm your loved ones. If your loved one is put in Hospice at Pilgrim Manor b/c they are dying of the injuries, they might be in in Hospice for up to 7 days before any visitors are allowed. By the time the first visit arrives, they are already comatose, and can't respond....
