Great School to get Accounting education. Small college and teaching experience focused professors. Great dining experience, multiple dining halls spread the campus from 7 am to late night 1 am. International students friendly environment. One hour south driving distance from Montreal, Canada.

This is not a good college at all. It's a decent sized school but I found many of the students here to be very cold and unfriendly. It's a very political school everyone is either very liberal or very conservative which made me uncomfortable since i'm not a political person. There is a lot of drug activity at this school. Almost everyone does weed and other drugs. Professors don't care about students or your problems. The food is poor quality and the weather is god awful. Avoid this school

I went there as an International Transfer student and I had the best time. I met some truly genius professors at the English department who coached me greatly. It doesn't have the most stellar academic reputation yet, but it has all the provisions and infrastructures necessary for you to excel in every way.

A quality education at a great price. A big shout-out to the School of Business professors for being so open and encouraging. Many opportunities to excel from the Career Center to the alumni networks and personal career advice from professors.

Cold, desolate city in upstate New York, but don't let that discourage you because only the triumphant venture into the heart of the beast! Welcome to Plattsburgh or as the students enjoy nicknaming it PlattsVegas :). If you attend this school you will be sure to meet some AWESOME people whether they be fellow students or faculty. It is definitely a good place to experience life and learn a little about yourself along with the other valuable lessons that the staff will teach you.

SUNY Plattsburgh has opened up a ton of opportunities for me from the classroom and beyond. Entering college I never thought that I would be in botany club or playing beach volleyball in the fall semester. SUNY Plattsburgh is in a great location and has expanded my horizons in the outdoors. I never would ve thought that I would be climbing actual rock walls on the weekends or going back packing through the high peaks. In the academic environment SUNY Plattsburgh has let me thrive. From establishing relationships with my professors and classmates I feel as if I m getting more than a college degree. There s always a volunteer opportunity that I can sign up for and with other colleges you don t get that.

Classic dysfunctional bureaucratic institution with old school clashing with new school mentalities. Getting in to the college is a tedious hassle but once you are there it is a great experience educationally, socially, and personally.

Honestly it's just another SUNY. Student body is mostly long island or far upstate kids. I'm only adding the 4th star because the food options & meal plan are pretty solid, & the city of Plattsburgh can be alright. Opportunities to gain career experience can be there if you look for them/stumble into the right place at the right time. Transfer process made easy.

Plattsburgh State University is a welcoming community of faculty, staff, and students. The campus life is booming with opportunities and the grounds are adorned with fantastic artwork. There are many hidden gems on this campus, like the Nina Winkel Sculpture Court and Sammy D's, a student-run restaurant. I am senior graduating in May 2017 and I am proud to be a Cardinal.

Worst college ever. I went to this college for a year and it was the worst experience of my life. Like 90% of the kids here are from Long Island or the city and for the most part the kids here are very disrespectful, judgemental, and unaccepting of others. Pretty much everyone here just loves to party and do drugs and if you're not someone who likes to do that stuff kids won't be nice to you here and you won't fit in. There is also a lot of racism, homophobia, fat shaming, etc around campus. Do not come to this horrible school. I transferred to a college in another state and the kids there are 1000x better than the rich punks who come here.
