My friend recommended this place to me. I am living Markham now but still love going there once per week for puchasing fruit and veg. They are all organic, fresh, tasty and reasonable price. Friendly staff. Overall experience is great I would highly recommended this place to everyone !

Affordable grocery store with fresh produce and excellent selection of organic items. Would recommend people here who are looking for organic but don't want to pay a huge premium in other supermarkets.

I kid you not, this place being near me might be keeping me in this city. I need a source of affordable organic veggies, as I have a lot of health expenses. This place is clutch, and always super nice staff.
I absolutely love this place.

Anytime something is nearing expiry they drop the prices, which is really cool - same as most major grocers but dang 1. it's almost always organic, and 2. the prices are almost always crazy. Loblaws' organic greens salad mixes are $5.99- here they are 2 for $3!! (I got one today for $1, ate it tonight and it's fine!)

I've shopped in the area's stores for 1.5 years, and still hit all the major grocers (Freshco- bittermelon / NoFrills- water, Metro lamb, Loblaws- vitamins). I buy food every other day, roughly. All I have to say is Sunlong kicks @$$ and I actually thank God half the time I walk in (minimum). Their ORGANIC kale is so fresh & strong and lasts so long- how is it $1.99? I buy so much stuff from here but every time the total comes up it STILL gets me lol.

I love coming to this market. Everything is fairly priced and they have awesome sales on organic products, and most of the times they're cheaper than discount grocery chains like no frills right next door. Not to mention the friendly and helpful cashiers who really try to build a relationship with the customers. I encourage everyone to take a peek inside. They have everything to organic, cruelty free house-hold cleaners & beauty products to hormone free milk & organic produce.

This store uses the wasteful practice of packaging large amounts of food together on styrofoam trays with plastic wrap, such as 10 limes, multiple bell peppers, a whole bunch of jalapenos, etc. I would prefer that the items are loose in bins so that I could choose how many I actually need. This is wasteful in 2 ways: the styrofoam and plastic wrap is completely unnecessary, and I am buying more food than I need. One reason I see that they do it is because their produce is often getting towards the end of its shelf life and this is a good way to hide rotten bits.
As an organic store, the owners should be aware that some of their customers shop there for environmental reasons - the overuse of styrofoam and plastic wrap is a deterrent to shopping there, as is their habit of keeping their doors open when the air conditioner is running.
Even though the store is in a convenient location for me and I prefer to shop organic, I avoid going there usually because I do not want to buy items that have so much packaging.
