Overal conditions were nice. Quite a few trails were closed and the map was slightly outdated so it made traveling around the mountain with a beginning a bit difficult

Had a great stay and really enjoyed the Tough Mountain Challenge
Great mountain to rip the double blacks or take it easy on the long winding green trails. The layout of the trails is perfect. They re spread out across 8 peaks so if south lodge is too busy, head to Jordan bowl or white cap. I ve been there when it s really busy and always can find a slope somewhere that still has room to move around on.
Staff is friendly and helpful. There s places to stop for breaks for something to East all over the place. I definitely recommend the waffle shack.
I love Sunday River! It was clean and the slopes were beautiful! Highly recommend. I will be back when they open again!
Love this place. Smaller than Sugarloaf but they have some great runs.
Nice place in remote setting, hotels reminiscent of Steven King's "The Shining" close to great adventure begins spots at Grafton Notch and Androscoggin River...
Trails are big and there are lots of lifts, so wait times are great. The trails are really great, too.
Went skiing for the weekend, great mountain, probably one of the best in New England.
Buyer beware! Ski tickets are non refundable! Even after I purchased them thru their website, they refused to offer a refund. I bought two 2day passes and my wife got sick, had to postpone. I pleaded with the women please just offer me a credit for a future visit (I didn't even want my money back just a flipping credit for a future visit!). Nope the women refused and said that's policy.
I can't believe a big mountain like that can just steal people's money. So cheap they won't even offer you a credit for the future.
Well they'll be no future visit cause I'll never ski there again.
You could also tell this wasn't the first time this lady refused refunds, she was stone cold about it, zero sympathy both times I talked to her. Nice PR real nice
Went to the south ridge for the New England Forrest Rally.
Come for the snow which is always the best around. Early demo days are good too
I'm a house cleaner with my boss. Her business is Razzl Cleaning which you can find on like page.
My family skis here every weekend then we go to foggy google for a beer. Love it
Some dork stole a friend's ski poles IMMEDIATELY in the morning and insisted he had got them in the rental shop. He truly believed what he was saying too. Not the fault of the resort, but something dumb ALWAYS happens when I ski here. Conditions were great.
Great skiing for all abilities albeit overpriced. $105 per ticket during the holidays
Had some small maintenance issues but overall spacious, comfortable, n outstanding views
We went up for a family ski trip. Kids had a blast, beautiful weather, few lines. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Midweek skiing was fantastic, fresh snow and no lift lines.
Terrific skiing - very glad to have returned to the mountain after more than 20 years. Conditions were as good as could be expected with the mixed precipitation falling, but the folks were super friendly, the crowds thin and the skiing fantastic - I won't wait 20 more years to return!
Amazing ski mountain and resort, we've been coming here nearly exclusively for 8 years. All kinds of terrain, fast lifts, minimal lines. There are always good bumps and tons of glades on the mountain.
Had a great time up here last week. Conditions were great. Staff we interacted with were very professional and helpful. Cinnamon bun while at the North Peak Lodge was tasty. Maintenance staff did a heck of a job with keeping the trails in great shape.
Best employers ever. So thoughtful and appreciative
What ever happened to this place, it just became bad in a sense.
Looks like a fantastic place to ski or snowboard. The mountains are huge and the slopes look wonderful.
One of the best ski spots in the state. Surrounded by a rugged landscape including views of Mt. Washington.
The service at Barker lodge cafeteria was horrible the manager and one employee named Linda were quite rude to me and gave me stares that made me feel unwanted when I was using there hot water to make hot chocolate with powdered mix. They also were rolling there eyes when a customer had to run back to there parents to get more money because the prices are so expensive it was a rip of. Word to the wise pack food
Great snow, fabulous grooming and friendly Patrol. Love this place.
friendly staff. room matches description. expensive. lots of trails. overall great time
Had a great visit to Sunday River. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was how crowded it was. Other than that it was a great day of skiing!
My top ski resort in New England. So much terrain that even when it's a busy weekend you can usually find an area that's not as crowded. Great on trail and tree skiing for any ability. Apres at foggy Google is always fun with live music. Always my first choice when choosing a mountain to ski at for the weekend.
Ten inches of fresh powder I love Mondays at Sunday river
Always a great time and the staff is extremely friendly
One of the biggest ski resorts in Maine. 8 peaks and over a hundred trails there's types of trails for beginners through experts. There's always something going on.
The base mountain gets packed pretty quickly but If you ski over to the other peaks you can find trails with no one on them
Amazing ski resort. Very big and huge variety of terrain. Lots of snowmaking and most of the trails are groomed. Better than Killington.
A group of us went to Sunday River the last weekend in January, it was a birthday present from my sister for me. About a 4 hour drive from Mass. The place is awesome and all that went had a great skiing experience even though the temps were very cold!
We stayed in the Tempest Ridge Condos rented through an online site slept up to 15 people we had 16, the teenage boy slept on the couch) The place was beautiful, clean and absolutely gorgeous! Condo also had a fantastic hot tub!
Plenty to do while you are there, most of the gang went skiing and snowboarding, my son & daughter when never snowboarded went to the learn to ski/snowboard school, they ran a special for $29 each you got a 3 hour lesson, rental of snowboards, & lift ticket to the lower lifts for the entire day for $29, could not beat that deal!
My dad & I do not ski so we brought snowshoes, there is a snow shoe and cross country trail down the street from where we stayed. We also snow shoed through he woods in back of the condos on the mountain
Apres ski and night life there are several bars and pubs to go to all with in a short drive.
I would definitely recommend Sunday River for a great family adventure
Great mountain to ski and snowboard at. Big enough where lines at the lifts are pretty much non-existant.
Lots of skiing and riding and trails for all levels. The only disappointment I had was the lifts are painfully slow.
Good terrain and snow, whole mountain is slightly bush league. A lot could use updating.
For last 12 years we've been skiing at either Bretton Woods or Loon. We love both of them (obviously), but Sunday River is our new favorite. Much bigger mountain, which offers more options. We ski green and blues only, and this accommodated us fine. All staff were very friendly
Awesome spot, one of the best ski mountains in New England. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
There was a job fair and they made it well organized and easy to follow
It was empty..we visited in the off season. Looked nice
Broad ski mountain in western Maine. Lots to ski, even for a full week!
Really great weather, not to crowded. Overall good experience!
Great day of skiing, friendly staff, good lift service even on a holiday weekend
Really good ski resort in western Maine. Pretty solid terrain and good amenities.
The rooms are dated and the buffet is way to expensive. That being said, you go here to ski, and the hill access and the ski/snowboard overnight check is simply perfect. This is definitely going to be a yearly visit for my family.
Best ski resort ever. Most mountian peaks. Great lodgeing and food. Go there
Had a wonderful visit for it to be summer season. Nice bike trails and ski lift to top. Didn't notice zip line till we left. $15 to ride lift unlimited
Awesome for skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking, great place all year round. Highly recommended!
The people at Sunday River are absolutely lovely, and the slopes aren t too bad, either! It was a bit warm and hadn t recently snowed when I went last month, but the slopes were still fun and safe.
Best ski resort on east coast! Sunday River never lets me down!
Good ski mountain, lots of variety, but can be crowded at some of the peaks on busy weekends.
Top-top atmosphere. Great for families or couples. Really good food. A favorite from first sight.
The River Rock Christian music festival is an awesome place to come and listen to worship Jesus and to fellowship with believers and no believers.
Great all around ski resort. Something for everyone! Family friendly and helpful staff.
Awesome ski resort with great trails and grooming with an awesome gondola for mountain top dining and drinks. Be prepared to wait for a seat at peak hours.
Lots of snow this weekend. Had a great time skiing here. Only problem is the long lines at the Express Quads. The free bus service is awesome for getting around.
Waited over an HOUR for a lift ticket because they don t accept ikon pass at the lift, like most other resorts on the pass. They had ONE person working the ticket window on a holiday vacation week. There was 200 plus people in line for tickets. Terrible service, but commonplace at Sunday river. Just be warned if you go there. Plan to wait in line for everything from tickets to food to getting on the lift.
Staff was awesome food awesome event coordinator was super helpful
