This is a must to stop by and visit while in the Salt Lake City area! The food was amazing and there is hiking nearby. While my husband and I only had dinner at the restaurant, local friends of ours have stayed at the resort and had a great experience and loved the accommodations. The staff is friendly and you will love the experience! You will be glad that you took the time to visit this beautiful resort.
This is my favorite place in northern Utah. Unbelievably beautiful and not far from Provo. My favorite time to visit is in the fall for the Harvest Festival and Halloween Lift Ride.

Beautiful drive. Wished we'd run into Robert Redford. Hahaha no such luck!! We were there in the spring. No snow or crowds.
Watched the Utah Symphony at Sundance. It was nice but cold.
The back side of the mountain is where the real chowder is at.
I got the Wagyu burger. It was excellent with the sweet potato fries.
What a destination. They have something for everyone. Great food, adventures, relaxation, and views galore.
I came for a conference, but can't wait to being the kids back. Even zip lining in the winter over the snow they told us.

I haven't been in like 8 years so I was eating it hard but over all it was good. The lifts could use some updating but I'm totally not mad about it. The runs are really long so you're in for a long day for sure.

Rode the lift up to the summit for $20, it was about 90 minutes round trip. Absolutely stunning, a great afternoon activity.
The outdoor amphitheater setting is awesome for their yearly summer theater productions! Taking the tractor ride up and sitting in a loction surrounded by beautiful mountains to watch a show is a lot of fun for the kids.
We love Sundance. Betsy and I have stayed in the lodging on several occasions and have enjoyed every minute of the experience. Skiing is great. The Tree Room is always superb. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend Sundance to anyone seeking a great time. We'll be staying there again in the future.

I've skied at a lot of resorts, so I want to preface this review by saying the fact I still had some fun with my friends is the only reason this place should get 1 star. If zero stars was an option I would consider it.
My personal experience with their customer service was abysmal. No enforcement of slow zones by ski patrol, punks who think they're the next Tom Wallisch are routinely buzzing little kids on leashes. Luckily ski patrol was keeping a close eye on the park the whole time as they chewed the fat and chilled in a big circle jerk

I just spent a fantastic five days at Sundance Mountain Resort during the Sundance Film Festival. It was a totally enjoyable experience - cozy rooms, beautiful scenery and walking paths, friendly staff, and good food. I highly recommend it!

I have been very impressed with the staff at Sundance resort. We are getting married there in the fall and so far the staff has gone above and beyond expectations to help us create the wedding we dream. The scenery and vibe up there is also incredible!

Came here with a large party for a birthday dinner. One of the starters we had was the brussels sprouts, best part of the meal. We had close to all of the 7 entrees on the menu. I had the $19 burger, the next item is the spaghetti $32, get my drift?
This place is at a resort and it is by no means low cost, which is generally par for the course in pricing anything at a resort.
It is not a quiet, romantic, place to go unless you happen to be there when the patio is open next to the river.
You have a good long dive coming from the Provo area/ downsouth. Double that if you are coming from the Salt Lake valley, it is up in the mountains so you should expect that.
Beautiful scenery, loved the trees and the walks they have. The workers were very nice and helpful as well making it an overall good experience.
I've been an avid skier and snowboarder most of my life. It's the Adrenalin rush, the thrill of being in quite outdoors rushing down a snowy mountain. But that's all I really did, never checked out the lodges. Several years ago, the place I work at took all the top sellers of the month up here for a weekend. What a mini-vacation that was. Luxury for sure!! Recently I took my wife up here and we stayed the weekend. Nothing has changed. The same 5-star experience!

Skiing was great there. rentals and gloves for sale are too expemsive but convenient. Lessons for the kids were very helpful, fun and an excellent value.

Sundance had a large selection of skis and snowboards for rental, as well as super nice staff who were really helpful getting me out on the slopes. I bought a season pass to ski and they helped me figure out everything they would outfit me with, and what I would need to get for myself.
Lovely, small, 2h plus dinner more than enough. We went to the fancy Tree House restaurant (count 100$/pers min)

Swung by really quick to go on a hike nearby. Seems like a great place to visit during either the winter months or the summer months.
We didn't stay at the resort, but we ate at the restaurant and visited the gift shop. The restaurant was spectacular, though quite expensive, and the gift shop was full of really cool odds and ends. Besides that, all I can say is that the area itself is extremely beautiful and worth a trip whether you want to spend a lot of money on food or not.
The snowboarding was decent, but a lot of the mountain was closed.
Lovely small ski resort. We had a fun day despite some wind at the top...and warm temps at the bottom. Fun place to ski.
I brought some colleagues from out of town to the Sundance Foundary Grille restaurant. The service was fantastic, the food even better. If you haven't been to Sundance, it is worth the trip! Outside, the wind rustling the leaves and the water cascading over the rocks is magical.
This is a beautiful place. There needs to be a better map. I had a very difficult time finding way around.
Had a great time with my wife doing the zip line. It was amazing. The amount of speed you can get is incredible. Worth the money.
This is a beautiful place in the mountains, and is fully serviced with simple luxuries, fine food and fun activities. The ambiance and the scenery will keep me coming back.
Never coming back to this resort again!! Two nights in a row, they let everyone stand in line waiting for 3 hours for the lights to turn on, then they never turned on and they sent everyone home. TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW!!!! Don t waste your time going to Sundance. Head up to PCMR or to Big or Little Cottonwood and you ll actually get lifts that run.
Spent a beautiful day mountain biking. The lines for the lift we're non existent. We finished of our day with a meal at The Foundry restaurant.
Just went snow skiing during the week. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lack of snow was a bit disappointing.
Excellent food and service and the area is so beautiful for hiking. We went on cable cars up the mountain. Amazing views. Best week end outing in the area.

Went for the moonlight lift ride. It was cold, but very memorable. A great idea for date night. Just make sure you have plenty of warm blankets.
I m not sure it gets any better than this! Beautiful resort, beautiful facility and fantastic service. I love the intimate nature of this resort. The mountains are not overcrowded and the bar feels like a cozy social with friends. Highly recommend!!!
