A great place to take in a show or grab a drink and slice of pizza!
Great venue! Awesome sound, great space and they are bringing in some really good acts.
It is always a delight to come here for almost any show. The drinks are fairly priced.
Great sound, beverage choices and timely, friendly bartenders! It's not too far from a few parking structures and the plaxes around it have wonderful food options!
Gwar was my first show sence the remodel. I already loved the venue and now I cant recomend it more. I think the VIP balcony should be a little cheaper but it's a good option for concert goers that want a good view without the crowd.
Cool new venue. Nice BALL room! Great sound. I dig the renovation going on in the whole neighborhood.
Favorite smaller venue. Sound is always nice. and you can see the show good from anywhere in the house
Although I'm moving soon out of Denver, I'm remembering my favorite places and I really enjoyed all of the shows I saw at Summit in Denver. World Class spot and well worth going to and grabbing beers at tap 14 or falling rock before!
Totally rocked out and witnessed a woman eat another's soul! Pro wrestling like none other. Great show! Good times!
This is right around the corner from one of my favorite date spots in town, the 9th door. I'd recommend both places! The vibe at Summit is amazing, and that plus a nice dinner nearby makes a killer combo.
Not enough seating. Too rough for my tastes but not a bad place.
Best small venue in Denver. Great sound. Good sightlines, especially for general admissions.
The venue was nice and clean, with easy access to bar and bathrooms. The sound was perfect.
80's dance band was so much fun! Friendly staff and clean venue.
Mostly hard rock, metal music venue. Sound system is OK, location in LODO sucks; parking, roving bands of hormone-crazed 22 year olds.
Cool place to see smaller bands and DJs. Situated near many bars and restaurants, and the place feel vibrant and cool
I think the remodel was good however the sound needs boosters toward the back. The bar tenders they had for the bearacudda party actually knew what a gay pour was so that was good.
It's ok. No seating unless you pay extra for VIP upstairs. But not a bad place.
Awesome venue, fast bartenders, and great prices. If I'm back in Denver I will be sure to catch another show there.
Cool music venue. Went to a small show, sound was very good!
There is always some concert going on here, never a boring time.
Awesome live venue! Has that big concert feel in a small, intimate setting.
Great atmosphere for the show plus there was fast & friendly service!
One bathroom that I could find. Great sound and fast, friendly service.
Great sound and lighting. Carter's well to audiences big and medium. Lines for bathroom, bar and pizza were all quick to get even when sold out.
Too many upcharges (Balcony, skip the line).
Saw Jamey Johnson here, cool small venue to see concerts but needs more seating.
Very nice venue for stage performances with huge dance floor and upstairs lounge area. The speakers are beautiful with amazing sound quality. Visited here for Bollywood night Holi Bash.
Disgustingly smoke-filled venue. Dozens of people were smoking cigars, cigarettes, weed, vape, you name it, INDOORS. Staff was present but did nothing to stop the smoking.
Hello Summit folks, I would be HAPPY to discuss this with you all, but there is no e-mail option under "contact us" on your website. I will try to reach you over the phone. Thanks!
Was way to crowded and bad standing floor for the Garbage show.i think they over sold it. Too hot and fans were not on.
Seen some great shows over the past decade or so at this venue, though one of my favorites has to be Itchy-0 and another was Phutureprimitative.
awesome venue anywhere you sit or stand you get a awesome experience love the place every show I have seen there has been great
I like this smaller venue for metal shows. Lots of standing room. The drink prices have gone up but still not crazy expensive for being down town.
New ownership but still feels the same. Great spot for beer and death metal
I've seen some awesome shows here. Primarily punk rock and metal, they book some of the best bands in the genre. Expensive drinks as you can come to expect from a big venue
This is a great small venue. Just wish they had more seating and didn't charge for the seats they have , which are not where people with disabilities can reach. They are upstairs. This is after renovation.
Spacious venue, decent drink prices and the bathrooms are clean!
Is a small intimate venue with good pizza available and bar, have seen lots of good shows there.
Great music venue. Overpriced drinks. Drink before coming in
Great place for concerts in the heart of downtown. You can enjoy misic from floor or balcony. Also there food available during shows.
Renovated venue is nice and spacious, but paying 20-50 bucks for balcony is not. Also paying $13 to skip to the front of the line is in poor taste.
Fun venue and very warm and hospitable staff. The Summit clearly sources good folks for its team and coaches them on making sure concert goers enjoy the show. I would definitely go see a show here again!
Wow what an improvement!!! I love this venue so much now. Great job on the remodeling!!! The sound quality is much better. The women's bathrooms was a huge game changer having enough clean stalls. Everything looks much more professional !! It's beautiful. Love the pizza and to eat and see the show makes a big difference too. I'm making a list of positives.... I'll have to add each time I go back to notice the improvements.
This used to be my favorite place to see a show. And every year, for the last 4 or 5 years, I would invest in their Soda Jerk Punch Pass. The idea was that you got 5 tickets into ANY SHOW...SOLD OUT OR NOT. Throughout these 5 years, 90% of the time, it was a hassle to use them, but in the end, we always got through the door. One year (2 or 3 years ago) there was a stipulation about a certain show in the future that you couldnt use the passes for (honorable since you knew BEFORE purchasing the passes). This year they added the stipulation "1 punch per pass on SOLD OUT SHOWS". They never mentioned the change, but it WAS notated on the back of the punch card. Fine...I get it. So, even though most years we didnt use ALL of the passes, this year we spent $300 on them, so that we could take friends, nephews/nieces, and kids to assorted shows IF something came up they wanted to see. Unfortunately, with a busy work schedule, we tend to usually only look at shows on Fri/Sat as we dont live very close to this venue. Last night, Dave Chappelle played the summit... it was announced... I read the announcement THREE times.. no mention of some "new" rule about punch passes. So we decided to go..arranged to get off work early enough to get down there, called a couple friends to join us... BUUUUUT we were turned away with NO tickets! The employee there even admitted that they LATER (like after the show sold out "later") changed the wording to say no punch passes. Now..If I would have seen that originally..I still would have been pretty upset since they cant honor their own rules AFTER I had given them my $300 this year... but it wasnt there when they originally made the post. We made the drive.Paid for parking. And stood out there like fools for 30 min trying to talk to a manager who seemed to avoid us like the plague! We were embarrassed, and wasted a night we could have done something else. Now... we are hesitant to even try these passes again as we have read/heard that Live Nation has their claws into this venue now... and they already have my money...what's to stop them from turning me away AGAIN?!?!? Below are pictures of the rules on the cards, and screenshots where ppl asked back in november if all shows would be honored even though they are live nation...to which soda jerk replies "YES". Horrible business practices. Ive been to at least 30 shows at thew Summit/Marquis over the last 5 years or so... but I think we are done with this venue. Dont stand behind a venue that doesnt honor their word...especially AFTER taking your money. DON'T BE SUCKERED INTO THE PUNCH PASSES>>>THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!!!
First time here to see Bad Suns. Fantastic show! Excellent sound at this venue, staff was decent, competent, maybe could have been nicer. Bad Suns were amazing!
Kinda small for a packed venue but I got to see Starset here and their set was incredible so
Cool venue but the smoking patio was not exactly clear so there was a bit of confusion..
We traveled from Texas to see Candlebox. Great venue and as always, another great show by Candlebox.
Super venue! Lots of space to move around and some seating
Great sound system and space, very good security and friendly attentive bar tenders
Went to a sold put gramatik show recently, first time at the summit and I was impressed with such a small venue having two bars, and bathroom stall doors that actually close(what a concept). Sound system was great except for the side areas, they need more/better speakers for the sides as I couldn t hear a lot of important high notes in the songs. If you re paying to be there, there should not be a single spot where the music doesn t sound good, just sayin.
Great venue! Good layout, balcony, catering, beverage selection, sound and lighting. Overall it's a great place to spend some time enjoying a show!
Awesome venue went to see DMX and the staff was awesome the bouncers we're really good, nice acoustics great, sound system and everything went off without a hitch. One of the better concerts I've been to especially for the price. Even compared to Cervantes. Will definitely be back
Lotus at the Summit was an excellent way to experience the venue for the first time.
Great venue, staff isn't overbearing or overly strict. Bar staff is efficient and friendly. It is very easy to get a great view of the stage even with a sold out event. One of my favorite spots to catch a show
The Summit Music Hall was a great experience. The venue has a nice view from anywhere, I stood at the bar had drinks saw the band's without anyone in front of me. There's an upper balcony seating area if you want to pay extra, but down below was just fine.
It is a great place for gigs or concerts. I like small venues like these because it makes me feel connected with the performers.
