Great local venue with some consistently impressive bands, the sound could use some work though.

Always have a great time the staff is friendly and great.
A decent little venue. I saw The Head & The Heart here for my first visit tonight. I arrived early & got a seat off to the side of center stage. The acoustics were just okay. I wish the sound had been better, but the bar service was good & they have a coat check for $5 cash.
I just saw Popevil here and it was awesome! Show started late but I assume it wasn't summits fault anyway pretty cool venue
BUYER BEWARE! THEY'RE THIEVES! I BOUGHT TICKETS. THEY CANCELLED THE SHOW...ON 3/16 THEY PROMISED TO REFUND MY TICKETS IMMEDIATELY AND NOW ARE IGNORING EVERY CORRESPONDENCE WITH THEM! IVE CALLED AND MESSAGED THEM REPEATEDLY
I mainly go for the metal concerts. The drinks are pretty pricey but I've seen worse. The last time I went, it sucked because the bathrooms were out of order! But it's a great place to thrash and then get the hell out of there. It's downtown so its easy to grab a great bite to eat after without driving.
My bartender was great and it was cool that have such a cozy concert
Great venue, just overly loud and bright for the space.
Great venue, most metal acts come through here and sell it out.
Very nice venue, i discovered a really nice and powerfull P.A system
Nice little venue. Got pretty crowded. Not bad to see your favorite band.
This is a very small venue that is difficult to navigate. Fire exits seem too far away and difficult to get to expecially from upstairs. One bathroom had sewage backing up and the other was nearly impossible to get to threw the crowd. The show was great though and so were the mosh pits.
The security staff is inadequate, they can't even handle the goth prom. People pouring beer on people over dance space and being allowed to stay, people being man handled by security... As they hauled out a 110 lb girl out, two male security guards knocked down two innocent bystanders by accidently pushing them down four stairs and hitting their faces on a fence and cement.) I will never be back and definitely will not be considering this venue on my list as a potential venue for production...
Great little small venue for up and coming artists! Reasonable drink prices and food which is such a rarity! It makes it easier to buy tickets here because you know you won't go home bankrupt at the end of the night over drink prices.
Amazing sound. Great venue. They desperately need more bathrooms or a larger men's. Not a good idea to feed 600 people beer and only have two urinals lol.
Great sound and light work. Stage setup made it so even though I was in the back I could still see.
Recently visited to see Exodus and Municipal Waste! I come from the Sunset Blvd and Hollywood area in LA and this place definitely rocks. Great layout for a good pit and crowd surfing, in addition to an upstairs area to get a bigger view of the stage. Small bathroom though, so plan accordingly.
Drinks were inexpensive and strong
Been here for a few events, great outing every single time!
We come to Denver for concerts all the time, and the Summit Music Hall is always our favorite venue.
This is my favorite music venue in Denver. A lot of different acts come through. There's not s bad place to stand in the house. The pizza there is great if you're looking for a quick cheap bite to eat.
Great performers, but poor location. Small, seemed over occupied/crammed, upstairs is VIP only, no set line for merch, staff did not regulate the event at all, messy, stage not high enough to see and no information provided on website. Does not state that there is no assigned seats and that upstairs space is VIP only. Will not be attending this place again.
Went to a concert and it was awesome. Great sound. Clean bathrooms. Quick service at the bar.
This is a great venue! Loved the atmosphere. Totally a sick place to see a metal show
This place used to be cool before Live Nation bought them out. Charging 20 bucks to sit upstairs on the balcony and 30 dollars for a re-entry fee for an event that's 10 hours.. I will never support this venue or Live Nation ever again.
Came here to see the No Sleep podcast and had a great experience! Clean, solid and reasonably priced beer selection, plus the pizza place IN the venue is fantastic. Great sound, great staff.
Get there early to just wait in a SINGLE FILE LINE! HIGHLY FRUSTRATED! WHILE NEW COMERS JUST CUT IN FRONT
Excellent since the remodel.alot more viewing area.
A pretty good place to go see your somewhat small concerts and such, When I went the people next to me were smoking pit right in the middle of the performance. Really took away from seeing Sabaton.
I've been to this venue 5 times and every time I had an amazing time
Terrible staff. For how big of a bar and venue, you'd expect some experience and professionalism from the staff. Clearly the people who work there aren't steady in any sort of employment. It shows with the level of ineptitude with any sort of altercation. Ogden, Fillmore and Cervantes staff dwarf the amateurs hired at Summit.
Needs more seating but other than that seen the best concert there
Its unique, romantic, and artistic. Very trendy but a wonderful place to have fun and relax.
Decent place... Definitley dress extra warm! Spent two hours watching "Small town Murder mystery live podcast" and froze the whole time after waiting in line outside for about a hour.
I have been to three events at this venue and none of them have been enjoyable. None. I was supposed to have VIP access and wasn't allowed into the VIP area despite other high level vip's confirming my status. Food was a long wait and wasn't tasty. One employee at this venue was very nice and courteous. But only one. I will avoid going to events that I would like to see if they are booked at this venue.
Nice venue with clean restrooms and a nice sound system.
Really cool venue! Very compact and makes for dense crowds of people. Interesting layout with a lot of side areas and a balcony to explore. The audio was powerful and made for a great music experience.
Great venue, great bartenders. Couldn't believe how well they kept up with serving everyone despite hundreds or people being in there for a heavy death metal show.
I attended my first and last show at the Summit recently. About 1/3 of the way into the main act's set, a security staff member (white male, tall, graying hair, late 30s) rudely accosted me and accused my party and specifically myself of smoking (weed, I guess?) and would not leave me alone, yelling at me for 2-3 minutes despite my repeated denials that I or anyone in my party (which consisted of my husband, my 23-year-old son and his girlfriend) had been smoking. I happened to be recovering from a cold that night, my voice was barely working and was audibly impaired, and my drug of choice was Ricola cough drops. He continued to insist 5 or 6 times that we (and specifically I) had been smoking, and then he changed tack to a different argument -- he didn't actually care if it was us; we were somehow responsible for the behavior of everyone sitting on the balcony and if we didn't "spread the word" (direct quote) and somehow force all of the strangers who were sitting and standing near us to stop smoking, he was going to "kick everyone on the balcony out of the show." Questionable logistics aside, this is a completely absurd request and reveals a truly appalling lack of professionalism, and the whole interaction completely ruined the vibe of the show for me. On a side note, there's also a nearly intolerable level of douchey hipster try-hards in the place.
An old dance club, this is now a great venue! Its a little small, but still has a great vibe!
Super over crowded and just not my choice of venue for concerts
Cool place to see a show. They have larger bathrooms now but you pay for it in the service fees. Drinks are average priced but pregaming is always recommended. Also buy your tickets in person at the box office (before the day of the show) to avoid that aforementioned $10-$15 online sevice fee per ticket.
One of the better venues I've been to, not only in Denver but the country. Great staff, awesome shows, clear sound
Great facility, awesome security, pizza inside was tasty too! Here's pics from the Ice Nine Kills show 11/5/19
Sound was OK but great spot to be downtown. Bar is huge with a convenient one located closer to the stage.
My favorite of the smaller concert venues in Denver. Staff is usually chill, food/drink prices are decent, tickets are usually very affordable and the atmosphere is nice. Great sound quality every time I go.
Great venue! Was able to see the stage from anywhere!
Good place for small concert. Wish there was more seats but all in all great experience. Mariana's Trench....Amazing!
One of the best slices of pizza I've had in a long while . will definitely be going back
I need to write a review with 200 characters so I'm writting this to fill up 200 characters, I'm from idaho and have never even been to Colorado, why are you reading this idk, now how's Colorado? How's the snow, we get snow, it's kinda cool.
Friendly staff and easy simple venue! Love the shows there!
Small venue great for getting up close and personal with your favorite bands. The acoustics are pretty good. I saw Ben Taylor here in 2015.
It's a decent venue that has the habit of booking acts that are a little too large for its capacity. As a result, it can be a cramped experience
Great place to see shows at. Really good for metal shows. Lots of room to mosh.
Taking Back Sunday was amazing. Would see them here again.
