Love this concert hall, great venue for moderately popular artists. Concert tickets are usually AFFORDABLE as well so you can bring your broke friends.

Parking costs but venue is nice even has great pizza
Bartenders are not helpful and would not provide ice water - only bottled water at $3/bottle. Terrible way to treat your customers!
9/25 - got the response from Summit on my original review. I have no way to get in touch with Summit as there is no way to communicate with Summit electronically (no email address listed here or on your website). I would be happy to get in touch with you but don't have a good way to do that.
After trying to convince me I had not started a tab for 15 minutes, the bartender admitted that he gave my credit card to somebody who was not me. Replacing my card has turned out to be a massive pain in the ass.
The show was great, though.
Great venue! I could see the band from anywhere in the room.
Smaller venue right on Blake street across from Coors Field. A bit of an odd set-up with the bar area right inside the door. Sightlines are perfect if you are 6ft or taller, but there are plenty of places to stand on stairs to see a show. Limited services and if you move your space disappears, but to be expected like all other places like it (Filmore, Ogden, Etc...)
Pretty cool spot but it seemed like the sound system was never quite right. Smaller venue but still fun. On a side note, Garbage was great!
Great place to see music. I wish the outdoor smoking section was further removed so smoke wouldn't blow in every time the door was opened.
Nice sized smalled venue, good seating, nice drink selection and food available.
My observations and opinions of the newly renovated Summit Denver:
Pros:
More bathrooms. Very clean.
Moor floorspace. Got rid of unnecessary walls.
Moved staircases to make for better view of the stage
Two bars instead of the main bar and cheap beer at the snack bar
Neutral:
Tighter security at front door. Metal detectors.
Cons:
Sectioned off smoking area instead of open doors with 21+ wristband
Food area is still not handicap accessible
It's now an extra charge to go on the balcony
Terrible response time for bartenders, before the remodel and livenation takeover they were very quick to greet you
No budweiser at the bar
Removed entire snack bar menu besides cheese and pepperoni pizza; no more fries, chicken tenders, onion rings, garlic knots, salad.
No more vegan options at snack bar
Complimentary condiments were empty; just hot sauce, crushed red pepper, and parmesan (empty). No ranch or dip cups.
Seating for snack bar area is poorly lit
My pizza slice was undercooked.
Overall I'm irritated and dissatisfied with the changes made by Live Nation Colorado
Place is fun great pizza in there small so can see everwear
Saw infected mushroom here last night and thought this was a pretty cool venue to spend a night jamming. No going back in once you leave the premises though.
Sound here is incredible. Super loud, tons of space, good drinks, foods ok.
a great venue. A little packed at max capacity but not bad. Enough bar tenders to keep wait time low.
This is a great venue. good service at the bar, as well as they have multiple bars they can open when there's a bigger crowd and upstairs for VIP when there's a huge show happening. Love it.
The remodeled venue looks great inside! The floor area is much more open then it was before. The bathrooms are huge now, and the bar looks great! I cannot speak for the kitchen as I didn't eat there. My only complaint is that the venue is now "no reentry" which is a huge bummer
Was fun to see Demons and Wizards live, but was way to crowded
Overall a great place to see shows. I have seen many shows here over the years and have never had a bad experience here.
saw Motion City Soundtrack on their farewell tour here. Great venue, super expensive beer and overcrowded. But fun.
I had a ton of fun! I was just surprised by how small it is inside tbh
Good music venue. I've seen Blind guardian twice, no issues getting in, relaxed staff, good audio, and decent beer selection (though expensive)
I have never been to a bad show at The Summit in my lifetime. Such an awesome venue, perhaps one of the best in Denver in my opinion. I always get excited to go to shows at The Summit.
Kind of a small venue, but great local talent gets featured.
Showed up 3 hours early to be the first in line. Then the venue went to the back of the line and charged people $10 to get in front of us. Trash venue. Complete garbage.
Dope venue, sticky floor, who cares, DMX is dope lol
First time back since the reno's. Not enjoying the fact they turned upstairs into VIP. They completely oversold the show (though it was Garbage) and it was packed with barely any room to move.
I got drugged here once. The venue is always kind of unclean and it's hard to find a good spot. The staff is not especially friendly.
I love this venue! Everyone is so friendly and I love, love, love the bar tender in VIP for the Daniel Caesar concert.
Greatest place ever! Friendly staff, good food and cheap booze
Spiffing place and every time I go there it's just amazing. But the sound director should be fired. Either he does not now how to do his job or he is hard to hear. His high tones are almost equivalent to zero his mediums are terribly terrible and bass is shallow.
I'm older and want to sit. Not much searing but they have food and drinks
Cool venue. A little on the smaller side but enjoined the concert. Awesome pizza place inside too.
Based on one visit the sound was not great and drinks are served in plastic cups.
Tickets were a good price, venue was nice, prices for food and drink were excellent compared to most concert venues, the only problem I had was the website said concert at 7 but that was when the doors opened so I ended up waiting a while
Love the place, seen multiple concerts here and always have a good time. Quite spacious and has really good sound throughout the building
Wonderful size, great staff, and all ages makes it great to take my teen daughter. Saw Against Me! and the sound was terrific! Would definitely recommend.
Largr music venue with decent drink prices and full kitchen!
A fun venue but the small stage and small main area makes it a bit uncomfortable for shows. Venue is often extremely cold inside.
Never had a bad experience here. The staff is very attentive, friendly and patient, especially with crowd surfers and fans that want to dance and mosh. The Summit is my favorite place in Denver to see punk/metal shows. It's such a great and welcoming space!
Attended Wiz and Curren$y 2009 tour. Set off smoke alarms, good drinks and no drama at all. Very nice venue!
Got to show an hour early so my guests and I could get ideal spots upstairs w/ seats (chronic knee pain). Turns out, they were charging $50 per person for "VIP" passes upstairs. This was not mentioned at any point of sale or on their Facebook promotion posts. If we had known this prior, we would not have gone.
Given this kind of greed, I will likely never return to Summit.
Saw Creed Bratton of the Office and the experience was A-mazing
Summit music hall is a great place to meet people and see you friends. They have a large cross section of shows and great audio and lighting.
They charged me $17 dollars for a 16oz beer. Then ran away and avoided me when i asked the guy about it. Whatever. The 5'10" scumbag with the nosering behind the bar probably needed the money more than me. Otherwise pretty ok venue.
Pretty unhelpful with fixing/changing delivery method. Ordered tickets to the Knocked Loose Oct 4th show for mail delivery clear back on August 9th. Gets to be Sept 2nd still no tickets. I email them inquiring about my delivery and am informed I chose pick up as my option and the tickets will be available at the box office 1 hour prior to doors on the day of show. Maybe I inadvertently selected will call ($3) instead of mail delivery ($3.50, the difference being literally the cost of the stamp mind you) however I ve contacted them over a month out from the show. The Summit nor the broker Ticketfly will change the delivery as a courtesy. They won t even charge me an additional $3.50 and change the delivery method. They won t cancel the order and place another one. They won t even let me pick up the tickets prior to day of show. Literally no effort made to rectify an oversight and make their customer happy. None whatsoever. Customer satisfaction is of no consequence to them. The show was great the venue is great which is the reason this isn t a 1 star rating.
My husband and I went to go see Covet. Let me say this- this was our first time at this concert hall and we will definitely be back. It was SO organized and on time! I can t remember the last time I ve been to a concert and the doors opened on time, the staff was efficient at giving directions, the line was quick, security was professional, the bar staff was phenomenal, the list goes on. We had a great time- thank you, Summit staff!
Fantastic place to catch a show. Its a cozy small venue that provides a nice intimate feeling between the band and the crowd.
Went to see Sabrina Claudio here and had a positive experience. The cocktails were good; nice dance floor and sitting area on the main floor and 2nd level. I wouldn't mind coming back here for another concert.
P.s. be careful, there are a lot of homeless people near the summit, this is an issue in the downtown area.
Nice digs! Could only be better if they had a tap dedicated to sours
I got dehydrated cuz I'm dumb and the venue gets really hot and doesn't have much seating.
Fix your sound proofing in the back. I love concerts and go to one at least every couple weeks. Since you updated the interior, it seems you missed an upgrade.
They have a lot of good shows there but the sound is never all that great to me. At first I thought it could be the engineers not getting levels right but after seeing so many shows with the same sound problems, I'm thinking it's the venue. I do like that they have bar stools to sit in and the floor area is nice and big. It's not my favorite venue but it's not the worst either
Nice intimate setting. They sell pizza by the slice and they are huge slices! Lots of drinks offered but are priced as expected from a concert venue. I would recommend getting a seat in the VIP balcony or else you will be standing for 4+ hours.
love this venue but, since they changed ownership the main security guy is just absolutely rude to the bands performing
If you want metal this is the place to be. Screw red rocks and their ridiculously over priced shows. Come mosh like a madman and drink some whiskey. Or eat the vegan pizza. No judgement here it's delicious.
Love the fake wall to help make a large room feel intimate for smaller shows.
BREAKING BENJAMIN & KILLSWITCH ENGAGE 1ST BANK CENTER BROOMFIELD COLORADO GREAT EVERYTHING
