Pastor Rick is what I call a true man of faith and his ability to preach from the bible and give it to me in a way that i can understand it is amazing. I love going to church every weekend, and for the weekends I miss, he adds it to his YouTube page later in the week.
OMG! I LOVE THIS CHURCH!!! If you re searching for a place that loves without judgement, where the pastor delivers a word based and backed by scripture right from the Bible, where the people are inviting and welcoming, a place that not only serves the members but serves the entire surrounding community and city, this is a church that has so many outreach ministries that allow everyone to get involved and serve, this is a church that provides classes and small groups for everyone, if you re a family that has small children you ve found the church for you, if you have youth age children they have that too, are you a young adult/college age that s here too, single and looking for friends but not a date well that s here too, there is no stone Pastor Rick, his beautiful wife Cindy and the amazing staff at this church has not turned. If you re looking for a Home church like my family was, Summit is it! Come Sunday to the 10am service, look for me and I promise you won t be disappointed...

I enjoy being a part of Summit my friend Tiffany brought me to Summit when I needed God the most and then I also went to Chosen for the first time and fell in love with God presence. I have enjoyed going to Brunch and going to Women of the Word Ministry with Sandy Ross, all of the Summit family are accepting to newcomers and welcome you with open arms they don't judge who you are or what you look like or how you dress. Sandy has also been there to help bring me closer to God. Thank you Summit for all the love and support .
If you want to know Jesus and his love for you.. this is the church family you want to be a part of! It s not opinion based church, it s a bible based church!
I ve been going to Summit church for 2 years now. I ve read some negative comments on this church. It really saddens me to see these comments because with all honesty there s no perfect church. Every church out there has faults. I grew up as a catholic though I don t agree with some things they do, I will not criticize nor condemn them. I still attend the church if invited or the only church to attend. I m not focused on the priest, pastor or minister. When I attend church service I go to praise, pray and love our Heavenly Father. One should not focus on the members of the church. I just believe one should attend a church they grow spiritually and love attending every Sunday. But to be bashing and criticizing a church they just didn t like when attended for the first time then post negative comments is really sad because as Christians it s not right. Thank you.
I have been going to Summit for almost two years now. I absolutely love the people, the worship, the community outreach opportunities and Pastor Rick & Cindy. Pastor Rick & Cindy have huge hearts for the city and for Summit family. I truly appreciate all the work the leadership does to make sure every service and event is geared towards connecting people to Jesus...and it is always done with excellence. I love that I can invite my non-church friends to Sunday service and not worry if it will be weird because Pastor Rick/Cindy have a way of presenting the gospel in a very real/relatable way. Summit also has an awesome children s ministry, youth group, a ladies Bible study and many other small groups available. I love the hearts and spirit of the people at Summit. If you are looking for a place to connect to God and grow, if you are looking for new friends or a church for you and/or your family to plug into...I would highly recommend checking out Summit Christian Center.

I attended for many years admiring the senior pastor Rick Godwin until the Holy Spirit sent me to a service to share the good news with who was my pastor as a member. When I approached him and his bodyguards his true spirit was revealed as he showed me he was more interested in meeting potential members and did not attempt to tend to the sheep in front of him. I tried calling the office, speaking to his associate pastors, informed his lovely wife Cindy, and approached him and yet when I return to Church the next day he clearly is aware of my presence and makes an announcement about he doesn't have time for all his members (sheep). The Holy Spirit was there with me to show me that not all prophets where made to preach. Imposter! Beware!
