Superb Service, I've just booked accommodation for my son who will be starting at DMU this October, Emma and Lottie were both fantastic. They helped with all my questions and made the process so simple, it really is appreciated and I'd have no hesitation in recommending either. If the actual accommodation is anything like the booking service so far it'll be amazing.
They are slow with replying to emails, they said they were gonna fix up the house before we moved in, no changes were added or fixed in the house even though they took the deposit away from us in second year. They haven't replied to any emails asking where our deposit is for this final year. Don't bother using this company to look for accommodation, they're terrible with service and their housing is atrocious.
Jake helped myself and my friends through the process of viewing our student house through video call and was very quick to answer all of our questions. He's reliable, kind and extremely helpful! I would recommend him 100%!
I can't believe how great it has been to find such a friendly, helpful and organised staff! Emma G. is such a lovely person! She has taken me through the majority of the process, making it 10 times less stressful and complicated - very organised, quick at responding to all my calls, emails or messages and a valuable part in making it all happen for me. SULETS is Students Union fronting expensive student landlords and getting a fee for providing the service. The properties are not cheap so the student is being ripped off.
I stayed with SULETS during the 2019/20 year in a shared house and they have been the best letting agency I have been with throughout my degree. They were quick to resolve problems (not that there were many) and were very kind during the COVID-19 situation, letting us end the tenancy early and not pay if we chose to not live at the property. Lottie.S in particular was an incredible letting agent for us and was so helpful in making sure I was fully informed of anything happening, she truly is an asset to the SULETS team. I will be choosing to live with SULETS again for the next academic year.
After a challenging year with a different estate agents making the change to go with Sulets has been a breeze. Jake, has answered many emails and phone calls and always provided us with the help we needed. The booking process was done super fast and was really easy to understand. Viewing houses during a pandemic is probably every bodies concern, Jake made this whole process run smooth for us, allowing us to find the perfect house for our final year!

Overall extremely kind and helpful staff, they are always there to help however they can with whatever problem you have and are very forthcoming with any charges or issues that there may be so there are no surprises.
There is a dedicated staff member for your accommodation area which means that you don't have to go through different people every time like other student accommodations, also means you know exactly who to email if there is a problem.
My staff member was Charlotte, she was swift with her responses, be it phone calls or emails, was always clear with everything that she was explaining, and when it came to the return of the deposit, she made sure she was fully transparent with what the few charges were for making the deposit process much easier than it had been for me with a previous company.
Highly recommend.
So letting from sulets, is a bad idea. They are poor at replying to emails, they are poor at fixing issues with regard to house condition. they will tell you that the new sofas are coming for an entire year and then at the end of your stay they will take your entire deposit.
Now they aren't entirely to blame because i did live with two messy individuals but i would never recommend sulets to anybody.

Even though I didn't end up booking my accommodation with Sulets, the administration was absolutely excellent, in particular Ruta Svedkauskaite who took care of everything for me, answering all my emails quickly and effectively.
Just finalised everything and reserved my gold studio, had a little issue with my current accommodation however the guys at the sulet office where very understanding and very helpful. Has been really hard for me to get through to staff (accepting my offer to stay at Sulets) as i am not in the UK, never thought someone from the team would reach out to me. Charlotte was very helpful in my search for accommodations for the upcoming school year. She went above and beyond by sending me new properties that became available that matched my requirements. With her help I was able to secure a home for September, after months of looking with no luck. The only downside to communicating with Sulets was the time difference and therefore the delay in responses. Since I live in Canada, it was often hard to get quick responses (which is not their fault) but all in all, it worked out!
