Really BAD experience with this agency.
Really BAD experience with this agency.
We rented a car on May 14th 2017, when we picked up the car, the lady at the agency told us there was no damage on the car, that we should check it before we leave and come back to report any damage if necessary.
The cars are parked on a lot opposite the agency and the lady was alone, so NO ONE comes with you to check the car, which is really unusual.
Unfortunately, it was raining cats and
Dogs, and our only mistake was to not check correctly the car because of the pouring rain.
On the same evening, we noticed a scratch on the rear side above the wheel. And of course, we clearly didn't scratch it, or maybe we have Alzeihmer's.
On May 24th, we drop it off, again no one comes with us to check the car (even though there were 2 employees), and they call us back later to tell us there's a big damage...
We had to fill in an incident report, and the lady told us that we will receive an estimate of the repair fees, certainly not before a month, because there are many damages at this time of year.
Today (may 31st), we have the great surprise to discover that AVIS debited 200$ on our bank account without informing us!!! This is simply unacceptable! They just charge you without telling you why!
I've written to the claim department and I'm still waiting for their reply...
Clearly I would NOT recommend to rent with Avis!
