Super Event provided our marquee and catering for our wedding in June. Our venue came with caterers already on board and when that company went bust after we had paid our deposits, Super Event stepped in and raised the bar. From the very beginning Tony and Chrystelle did everything they could to reassure us that we would not be getting second best and they proved that in their service right up to our big day and particularly on the day itself. Mark Winter was superb as our point person on the day and went above and beyond in making sure everything was taken care of with a calmness and professionalism. We have had so many rave comments about the quality of the food and could not recommend Super Event more. Thank you for helping to make our day so unforgettable

Super Events were absolutely brilliant. Everything we asked for they did happily and very efficiently. Having a December wedding, the weather could not have been worse, but they made everything perfect on the day. Our daughter and son-in-law had a really wonderful day. We only have one daughter, so sadly cannot have another wedding, but shall definitely use them again for something else.
It's been almost a year since our wonderful Super Event wedding! We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from them. All the staff were efficient, friendly and knowledgable, also very reassuring! The organisation on the day was flawless. The food was delightful. Plenty of drink on tap. Our guests all had an excellent time and keep telling us how great the day was! As Captain of the Nevill Golf Club in its Centenary year it was essential that our Ball had to be a rather special function. I was given Super Event s details by an extremely satisfied customer, and following just a couple of meetings with them I was happy to sign a contract for catering and marquee hire. 380 people attended the event which was a resounding success thanks to Tony, Chrystelle and the rest of their fabulous team. Literally everything they promised was delivered in a highly professional way and based on my own experience I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
The following weekend they then managed a Hog Roast for almost 300 people. Two team members arrived as arranged at the Club at 2.30 am to ensure the hogs were roasted in time for lunch and the day was another overwhelming success for me and all those who were lucky enough to have attended the day.

Our Daughter's Wedding was booked with Super Event for September 2014. From the very beginning of our Wedding journey we had absolute faith in Chrystelle and Tony. They answered all our queries and worries with positive responses and made the planning of the big day so much fun. Their professionalism and communication throughout was superb. We always felt that this Wedding was as important to them as it was to us. Super Event have a highly talented and organised team which enables everything in the days before, and on the actual day, to run like clock work. For us, in choosing Super Event initially, it was fantastic to find a company that catered for all our requirements with no need to employ any extra help. Super Event cater for everything. We could not fault Super Event. They created a magical day for our Daughter and one which will stay in our memory, so fondly, for ever. Our guests were extremely complimentary about Super Event and the general consensus of opinion was that it was the best Wedding and certainly best Wedding food they had ever enjoyed. My then fiance and I were first recommended to Super Event by his parents who had attended a wedding where they had provided a marquee and catering. When we first met with Tony Brewin of Super Event I was unconvinced about having our reception in a marquee, as I had been to some events in the past which left me unimpressed. Also, as our wedding was taking place at the end of November I was concerned that it may be drafty and cold if the weather was bad.
Within five minutes of meeting Tony I wanted him to be in charge of organising our reception as he clearly has such confidence in the quality of the service he provides. He seemed to completely understand what we wanted from our day and the best way to achieve it.
It never once felt as if he was trying to sell us anything but was simply working with us and discussing options which would work best for us. He even dissuaded my fiance from adding further items to the marquee as he didn't think they were worth us paying for. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but we never had a seconds doubt or hesitation about using Super Event for the complete build and dressing of our marquee, as well as their full catering service.
On the day itself everything ran perfectly to schedule. The canapes were exquisite and the food was fantastic - both the meat and vegetarian options were delicious. The waiting staff were helpful, professional and our 'master of ceremonies' as well as being friendly and calm kept everything running exactly to time. We really were able to relax on the day as everything was so well looked after. The marquee was beautiful and felt and looked like a permanent structure. My mother, who feels the cold very badly had been concerned about the temperature in the marquee but within an hour she asked for the first time ever (exactly as Tony had confidently said she would) if we could turn the heating down.
My husband and father in law both work in the events industry and aren't easy to impress but they both continue to sing Super Event's praises to this day and we have recommended them to other friends who are planning weddings or celebrations.
Tony Brewin and Super Event really are as good as they and everyone else says they are and were worth every penny we spent with them. We cannot recommend them highly enough - I just wish we could do it again. Do they do christenings I wonder?
We had the pleasure of using Super Event for our wedding earlier this month and we cannot day enough how pleased we were with the food, drink and service. Choosing a caterer for a wedding is a daunting process as it s something you really don t want to get wrong! But we had absolutely nothing to worry about with Super Event.
The service we received in the preparation for the event was fantastic and the tasting event was a great touch, allowing you to try and broad range of dishes to really help you decide what to offer on the day.
The day itself went perfectly - the team had everything completely under control and the whole day ran so smoothly. The food itself on the day was incredible - and the portion size was brilliant. Often you are hungry after a meal at a wedding but that definitely wasn t the case at our wedding!
We can not recommend Super Event enough - if you are thinking of using them for your event then do. You won t regret it - we certainly didn t.

Super Event provided the marquee & catering for our wedding & we could not have been happier with their service. From start to finish Chrystelle & the team were always professional & had everything under control. The set up/ removal etc of the marquee was very professional & on the day the team had absolutely everything under control. The service was great & the food was fab. From the arrival drinks & canapes & throughout the sit down meal, the guests were always taken care of. We did not need to even think about it as it was all in hand. The 'customer service' we received from Tony was appalling, this was when he was not shouting or talking over us. Apparently the client is never right. After feeling threatened we found another local wedding caterer who did a incredible job. We can not understand how they have been running for this long with such horrible customer care. Please be aware.
A huge thank you to all at Super Event for making our wedding day at Saltcote Place Rye so special. From the first time we met Tony and Chrystelle we felt at ease and in professional hands. There were never any problems only solutions and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lorraine and her team on the day were 1st class , they were professional and attentive and once again nothing was too much trouble. We received so many compliments from our guests about the amazing and high class food, both presentation and taste were superb. The general comment was they had never been to such a great wedding and this is in a huge part due to Super Event. The Super event team is 5 star and we highly recommend them.

I have known Super Events since they first started. My Wife and I ran a Wedding Venue in East Sussex and Super Events Quickly became our "First Choice" for everything, from catering to marquees. This association has continued after We had sold the Business and We always use them for our own private parties. The last was a dinner party for my family, which was so successful that our guests were very afraid to hold a rematch !!
