From the onset at the first meeting we had with Yang to tell him our preferences and style that we preferred with the video, all we had to do was mention a few keywords and he already understood and knew what we wanted. From that moment, I just left everything in Yang's hands with full confidence.

The whole experience on our wedding day was so enjoyable. I thought that it would be a tiring thing but it turned out so fun I wish the whole video making experience did not end. We barely had to do much, but yet the outcome of the video was everything we wanted and more. I cannot find any part of the video that I did not like. The cinematography and choice of song even was so apt. Yang and his crew were really fun to work with, and a hilarious bunch. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Now thinking of what else we can video with Substance!

Yang is incredible! Not only is he extremely professional, he is also kind, funny, and a pleasure to be around on the big day.

I cannot thank Yang enough for being my videographer. Yang & his team made our day all that more special. Due to Covid-19, we couldn t have dance floor on weeding day itself, so we decided to film our dance in advance.

Yang asked me send him our practice video if I have it to check the length & concept of dance. After he saw it, he became the dance instructor for us on shooting day. When we were confused with the dance moves, he was the one told us what is the next movement for our performance.

Initially, we planned to have outdoor shoot. However, weather condition was bad and changed plan to take the video indoor. Yang & Soon found the perfect spot where we never noticed it could be really beautiful background for the video. My husband & I sincerely respect their professional work which is beyond most our sanguine expectations.

I am so glad that we were able to have them for our big day!! Thanks again Yang & his team brought a level of energy and enthusiasm that added to our special day.

We will have a priceless capturing of the most important day of our lives to watch
countless times in the years and decades to come.

Yang and Soon were very experienced, professional and easy to work with! They are also a very friendly and fun bunch to be around. We are naturally uncomfortable in front of the camera but they made us feel very at ease and gave us easy directions to follow.

The whole video taking session was never a dull moment thanks Yang and his crew! Kana and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves every bit of the way and never felt an awkward moment in front of the camera.

He was such a joy to work with! It is rare to find someone with an endless pit of energy (me), but to find another one just like me (Yang), simply made the whole shoot feel like its an action packed movie la!

Engaging Substance Films is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! Yang and his team were highly professional right from the start. They approached us to understand our preferences on the genre and music beforehand and even provided advices that helped to make the wedding more personal.

On the wedding day itself, Yang and Soon arrived earlier than the scheduled time to ensure proper preparation. They were very creative and patient when capturing all the nice shots. Another great thing about Substance Films was they were so experienced in the industry that they had worked with our photographers, makeup artist, wedding coordinators and emcee for a few times, ensuring a very smooth collaboration on the busy wedding day itself. To make the wedding more fun and memorable, Yang and the team also helped us edit the Same Day Express Highlights, which amazed all the guests and some of them even burst into tears!!

Several of my friends had engaged SubstanceFilms to do their wedding videos and I loved all of them; I knew I wanted Yang to shoot our wedding day. Yang and team had such a great energy throughout the day, helping us feel much more comfortable and less awkward in front of the camera. Engaging Yang and his talented team, SubstanceFilms is one of the best decisions Jared and I made for the wedding!

Indeed a team filled with Substance, the process is seamless end to end where Yang sat us down to understand the style, music, important scenes we would like to include and made recommendations on how we could made the video more fun!

Despite Yang's sprained leg, his team turned up punctual, kept spirits high and turn our money heist theme banquet a success! So glad that Yang and his team were the ones who captured our wedding day. Prior to our wedding day, he met with us to understand our preferences/likes/dislikes (patient as it was a rather long chat) and on the day itself, really did marry our differences in style in terms of treatment, grading and music.

The Substance team was extremely professional and most importantly, we could tell they had fun capturing the moments, laughing with us whilst directing. They worked well with our photographer as well and were very accommodating. They made full use of the props (and whatever was lying around) and space, unmatched creativity I must say. We felt at ease when Yang was instructing us on the dos and don'ts to us who were pretty much clueless about most things on the day itself. Thank you Yang, Soon, Nancy, Michelle and team for all the help in producing and directing such a memorable us on screen. Even we were moved by ourselves
