It wasn't that long ago that this was a good place to work. Once upon a time, it was smooth as butter. There were managers and supervisors here for years that grew up locally and were invested in this business that knew it inside and out. They cared about the community and employees. This was only five years ago.
Slowly since that time, the old managers and supervisors have retired, quit, or been fired. They have been replaced by know-it-alls that seem like they are making up rules and learning as they go. The politcally correct corporate kind that talk a good game, nod their heads, smile, yet nothing really gets done.
Nothing seems to go right anymore. They construct these elaborate training and development plans and try to train us for months, talk them up, only to let them go by the wayside to never hear about them again. Every two or three months for the past year or two there seems to be some kind of chinese fire drill regarding a recall where we have to go thru a bunch of product. This was after they fired the quality manager with absolutely no back up plan! What did they think would happen?!
They is a turnstyle of employees as I speak. Even some managers and supervisors just decided to up and quit not that long ago. I am only one of about 10 employees left that have been here longer then 5 years (out of 50 or so). They can't get anyone to work here and people keep leaving because it is so chaotic and frustrating. It's like chicken or egg lol ! So, we are stuck working a bunch of overtime to cover.
Things are such a mess that there are rumors everywhere that the new company will probably see it and move everything to one of their other plants and shut us down. That would be a shame. Like, I said, this USED TO BE A GOOD PLACE TO WORK until poor, unorganized management took over.

This place is ran so poorly, I wouldn't let my worst enemy work here, even if it met life or death!

Never visited but I gotta say that fruit leather STAYS on point. Keep killing it out there. Mad love and respect. I have been eating that good stuff since I was little and it still hits the spot.

Worked there longer than I should have! As soon as the former plant manager (Allan) left and the new one (Ryan) took over, SHTF with a quickness!
Out of all the jobs I've had since I can remember, this is THE WORST PLACE I have worked!
They can't get enough temps/new-hires coming through the door to replace the employees who have either been fired (Current management want "yes" employees) or quit because they're tired of CONSISTENTLY WORKING 50-60 hours a week!
Management is nothing but pencil pushers and don't care about their employees!
They have refused to except doctors notes for missed time off! They consistently tell us "don't come to work if you're sick! That's a health hazzard to our customers!" but if you don't have sick time, you get written up! Like, WTF people?
With the company currently being sold from under the Kelloggs Corp. umbrella and being picked up by the U.S. subsidiary of Ferrero Rocher (Ferrera USA) and no distribution centers ANYWHERE within the PNW, I highly doubt this company stays in business much longer!
DO NOT WORK HERE...unless you like working A LOT OF HOURS, having NO SOCIAL LIFE, NEVER SEEING FAMILY/FRIENDS and doing shyte work day-in-day-out!

worst place ever to work if you think otherwise think again. This company will not pay you for a full 12 hr shift they refuse to except doctors note and have a piss poor management they will fail and go under if they can stay afloat its only because they either fired you and a dozen others to make themselves look good, its unprofessional and i would not recommend working here permanently just for a one to two months until you find something better.

Was handed some free samples at the Allyn Days salmon bake this weekend and Wow, these are good. Been looking for a snack to satisfy a sweet craving and these do it without any sugar. No Additives at all.
Good job guys!
