After first dish it immediately rates in top 5 restaurants in Ireland for me. The Brooklodge hotel perfectly creates the atmosphere for a great organic experience. Whether vegetarian or not you will fall in love with vegetables again as every single bite brings you back to the original taste thanks locally grown organic produce. Meatlovers won't be disappointed as the steak and sika deer i tasted were amazing just as everything else here

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the country. And as the only fully certified organic restaurant of the country, it is definitely worth trying. All their food is organic, many of it being locally produced (0km and no carbon footprint) and foraged. Their menu constantly changes, since all the veg and fruits are seasonal. There is always something new to enjoy and discover. Restaurant falls on the pricey end, but it still is worth a visit.
It was ok (3 stars in google maps means "it's okay". Nothing really stood out for me. Everything was just normal and okay.

Come for experience and you won't be disappointed. Stay at Brooklodge hotel and dine one of the nights at the Strawberry tree restaurant. Go for 9 course tasting menu, because it's worth it. The Strawberry tree restaurant is the Organic certified restaurant in Ireland and I think it's the only one.
