I love Long Island it s a beautiful place with amazing people. Only thing is some places can be a little racist, but overall is a great place to live and visit.

Long island is awesome! Except for the overcrowding and the hordes of oblivious people... but that's long island.

Nice place to go but because I'm coming here for delivery, honestly its hard to park down here its very tight for Deliveries

The beaches are grand on a scale that I have yet to experience elsewhere. Although Jones beach crowds on weekends due to the influx of city dwellers, the beaches remain fabulous year round, and surprisingly warm during the summers. Long Island is well worth the trip!

Only a well planned trip will succeed in a ridiculous and complicated city.

Worst place that I've ever lived comparing to California and North Carolina, trash on the roads and parkways, worst school system and let's not talk about the weather. If I had the choice to move I would do that in a heart beat.

Long Island has my heart! It will always be "home". Its a wonderful, beautiful place with so many different things to do. To me, there isnt a place like it in all the world!

We took the ship over from downtown for a few bucks to the Brooklyn Bridge and then over. Very cool

I noticed the residents of long island are oblivious as to how bad there roads are maintained and in comparison to the amount of money being taken in from tolls and taxes and tourism. I also noticed far to many empty properties Commercial and residential. Simply due to the fact most cannot afford to buy or rent. It seems like to me. The more business encouraged to the community the higher the tourism revenues. Its common sense. I noticed on my visit that many people seemed disconnected. Robot like. Most people also seemed tired. Offering a laborious smile. And if asked. How are you doing today. Most responded with either stating how many days left until a break or how many hours left until their break or off for the day. Oh. And one more big one. No one is allowed to fuel there own car. Pump there own gas. It made me feel as if I were being treated like a mindless teenager that was incapable of doing anything properly. Its certainly not a place I would enjoy returning to. I hope this is good for thought. Respectfully. A true USA citizen.
