Excellent show, just saw Billie Elliott, amazing show. The theater is lovely, the grounds around it is beautifully kept, the gift shop has some unique gifts. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. We also took in the tour of the changing of the set which was interesting and informative.

Saw Mary Wives of Windsor, was a great performance, unfortunately had a medical issue that stopped me from watching the end. The usher that I asked to help me was fantastic and helped keep me calm while the paramedics arrived

This is such a Canadian iconic event. Lots every moment of it. Watched Romeo and Juliet and it was mesmerizing. Great little theater. Good location (even though Stratford itself is far). Great experience

Fantastic performance of "To kill a mocking bird" ... the director did take a bit of dramatic license with the book, but it did not deter from the wonderful acting and overall performance.

We're so blessed to have such wonderful performing arts Center here in southern Ontario. I'd have to say, the overall experience exceeds the theaters we visited in Toronto recently.

Keep up the great work, we'll certainly return.

Get thee on the newsletter list.

Get thee on the newsletter list.
Seriously. Ticket specials are available throughout the entire season.
If you've never been, you simply have to go.
This is a destination that I return to time and again, as many times as possible throughout their long-running annual season. Don't be afraid to check out the smaller theatres, and productions that don't happen on the main stage. I have never been disappointed.
The comedies are my favourite, and often have the audiences roaring with laughter.
Parking can be tricky if you are running a bit late. Best to go early, find street parking and poke around in the theatre shops and enjoy a glass of wine (or two) prior to the show.

Excellent theatre venue. Only issue latest visit was we had to find usher to receive our playbill for the performance. Returned to lobby twice and directed back to theatre to find on own. Only appeared to be one usher for our Aisle and it walking patron to seat, no one to help. Often other theatres have box of current show playbills near top door.

Very much liked the performance of Guys and Dolls.

Enjoyed our afternoon at the theatre for an Othello matinee. The theatre is a good size, but feels intimate. Good site lines, but the centre section would have been best for this production. Grounds are lovely. Pictures are of the cute gift shop items.

Went to see Music Man. Was excellent, as I was expecting. Unfortunately the seats we had (through a workplace discount system) were at the farthest left seats in the orchestra (bottom layer). Despite that, the play was orchestrated so that we could still appreciate it (the cast didn't just focus on the middle seats).
The washrooms were a little bit wanting, as well as slightly out of the way (down a set of stairs and around a corner).
I cannot comment on the bar, as I did not purchase any drinks, but the line for it was rather large.
Parking is decent, however it is an uphill walk to get to the theater.

We fell in love with the enchanting performances at the Stratford Festival this year. We watched 3 plays, Little Shop of Horrors, Private Lives and Mother's Daughter, over my birthday weekend and felt so very grateful to have this world class experience right in our backyard a few hours drive from Toronto. The characters really come to life and take you through journeys of drama, intrigue, tragedy, hope and love. If you love a good story ...you can't help getting addicted! I will be back next year!
