A great place to relax and enjoy the craic. Good friendly service and excellent food. I d recommend trying out the Metalman IPA that s on draught.

I mean just the location makes this place very special! The food was very tasty too and they had a very good Rose wine plus is you can bring dog if seated outside, they have shelter in case of rain as well as heaters lastly special thanks fir wrapping our desert for us to eat later as per our request.

We've just come back from four nights at this wonderful Hotel. It had just re-opened like so many places and they did it perfectly, from a charming welcome from both front of house and the restaurant staff to the young, smiling Bar Staff.
Our room had a splendid view of the cove below and it was very clean and comfortable with a huge and very firm bed.
The high spot of each day was restaurant whose Chef was a Magician who produced Prawns cooked in Garlic which popped in our mouths and the best Calamari that we've ever eaten. The fish was fresh and light with salads to excite the taste.
Would we go back .... YES .... we've booked in for another break in August and for The New Year Celebrations.

The strand Inn is a lovely place to eat and stay on hols vacation can't beat it and the beach on there door strap

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Comfortable room with sea view and balcony. Staff very friendly. Has a bar and restaurant serving quality food.

Always have a great time in The Trans Inn. Originally going there for dinner but didn't know the restaurant close at 5pm, so we end up have food in the bar. Turns out their bar foods were as great as restaurant!

Had curry, mushroom stuff, fish and chips, lasagna! And they were all lovely!! The Strand Inn never let us down.

Had a stop over for one night in the Log Cabin with my daughter. It was beautiful so quiet a real little gem immaculate clean. Headed to the restaurant for breakfast the next morning 'what a view' sun shinning over the strand what an uplifting view. Best breakfast, lovely friendly staff. Thank you we will be back it was a fab end to our stay-cation in Ireland.

Quaint seaside Inn overlooking the sea. The food is absolutely first class. Wonderful scenery while eating locally caught fresh seafood. The staff are very welcoming. The bedrooms need a bit off updating in places, the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
