Stout Management Company Review

I stay at the cottages and I've been here a little over a year. I don't have any complaints. Assigned parking would be nice though lol
But ms jasmine and ms Sandra in the office are absolutely amazing. So kind and friendly. Straight forward with everyone who walks in. And I've seen some really rude folks walk through that door and they still handled it professionally and with a smile on their face. Some of the best office staff I've encountered in Vegas!!!

My experience with this management was TERRIBLE this was my first place moving from ohio to Las Vegas and they put me in an apartment that had intrusion in the underground piping. The intrusion caused my apartment to flood with RAW SEWAGE and I had to deal with it and fighting with the propery manager for an ENTIRE MONTH. I reached out to the health dept and they deemed the unit uninhabitable after constantly sending certified letters, pictures emails and recording conversations about my apartment. I reached out to an attorney channels 8 and 13, tenants rights etc, and no one could help me. STOUT didnt even have a direct contact number in order for me to talk to someone. I literally watched them dress this place up and make it look nice to lure people into renting, all while I couldn't shower or use the bathroom in my own apartment. I had to sleep in my LIVINGROOM because all of the house was carpeted and wet from the s### flood coming from the shower drains and toilets...I dont even understand how this isn't a lawsuit but whatever....I am now in another unit but what I went through was unbelieveable and they had the AUDACITY to blame it on me using too much toilet paper. Not to mention we now have new management and they dont even realize what they've walked into because STOUT left SUCH A MESS of a complex and a bad taste in all of the tenants mouths. Our mailboxes still get broken into although we are in a gates community and the mailboxes some how wasnt in the budget to move them into the gates. I've given up on on this property and everybody they send in to do the job right

I really give this place zero "0" stars, but I had to select 1. The Skyline Villa Apartments and this management company are HORRIBLE! My daughter moved in, and two weeks later, I moved her OUT because of unsafe conditions and poor management. They failed to remove old satellite dishes, metal rods, concrete blocks and other harmful materials from her backyard, that ended up being used by someone to break into her apartment in the middle of the night. The A/C broke twice, the refrigerator did't work, and there was dirty water coming out of the shower. Days after the attempted break-in, I caught two people trying to break into her storage area in broad daylight. BEWARE!!! Despite the anguish we've had to endure due the company negligence, they wouldn't even refund her money. Now must take matters into our own hands LEGALLY! Don't just take my word for it, the pictures, video and police report I have speak for itself.

No one wants to respond to their own paying tenants questions, they only say write an email to "Customer Service". The receptionist just gives you the run around but you can never get someone from corporate on the phone. Want you to pay your rent on time but can't be bothered with anything else. Absolutely horrible communication skills and customer service. Would never ever recommend anyone rent from this property management!

MY VETERAN ELDERLY DISABLED FATHER. WHOM CANT EMAIL IS BEING TOLD TO EMAIL THEM. THE APARTMENT MANAGER RUNNING THE SHOW AT THE APARTMENT BUILDING CANT BE BOTHERED TO DO ANYTHING BESIDES SIT IN HER OFFICE ALK DAY. AND SAY "OH WE CANT DO THAT".
WHAT A JOKE RUN AROUND THERE MANAGED PROPERTIES ARE AVAOID AT ALL COSTS.
Yep called yet again about safty issue at apartments. Got same response. Email us or write letter. When told ELDERLY, & VET, & DISABLED AND CANT EMAIL OR WRITE. HEARD SAME OLD CANNED RESPONSE. WELL WILL TAKE IT INTO CONSIDERATION. AND ENDED CALL.

Stout Management made a great place to live a horrible place to live. I used to live in Tango Bay Homes. Residence wouldn't pick up after their dogs and when someone complained, they tried to blame my fiance and I for the ones not picking up after our dogs. Then tried to evict us for having service animals because we weren't paying pet rent or have a rent deposit. When told they were service animals they wanted to see our private medical information to make that determination for themselves. Completely and totally rude with every manager interaction with the exception of one. A young girl Manager was very sweet, caring, knowledgeable, and understanding. Took care of the residences.

No one takes care of the grass areas as seen in the photos, kids pull up the sprinklers and PVC lines for them and no one cares or repairs them. Dog piles everywhere so watch where you step. Maintenance is incredibly slow and will do the minimum possible. Downstairs neighbor had no heat for almost the entire winter due to maintenance refusing to replace a part and instead chose to "fix" it but still wouldn't work. Then tried to blame the same neighbor for causing the issue in the first place.

Finally, security is non existant with the exception if looking through people's cars in the middle of the night. They look for ANY reason to tow your car including backing into your own parking space, the vehicle looks old therefore to them it's broken down, or expired registration by one day, just to name a few. To get your vehicle back it's $500 everytime and if it's back in the parking lot that night, it'll get towed again. It's almost like they need the money so they find any excuse to take it from the residents.

My advice is to stay away from any property managed by Stout Management.

Well my trip was a long way and it a little tricky to find but it was like the big guy is to yellow belly to talk to the hard honest working person that lives check to check and try to start my over and there property management is so stupid that they can't add and keep the books maybe one day they will have a little time to do with the real world

They should allow to put - stars here, this is the worst, liers, dishonest people I ve seen in a company. I came across 3 people and the showed exactly the same characteristics. Amber from Sienna townhomes back a while ago, Cynthia Curtis from main office, doesn't face people, she has people contact customer support so she is not held accountable, Marcia Ortiz, don't know if she works there still.

Counting down till I move out of a Stout Property. Unfortunately I have loud neighbors and have had several service request to my unit. The people who live below me have no respect for others. I reached out to my neighbors to share my concern and even wrote a letter about specific days and times that I really needed them to consider others. This letter was approved by management. Nothing improved. I continued to complain to management, nothing improved. I have several emails where staff says they would speak the residents; however nothing improved. The noise would range from tv/music blaring at an absurdly loud level (to where it felt like i was at a live concert) to women screaming while men where fighting, banging around furniture (as if there was some type of fight club). My right to peace was not honored. Regarding the service to various facility issues ... those ranged from faulty heating/ac unit to clogged kitchen sinks. The new upgraded features .. you can tell are a rushed job, poor quality. If affordability is your main concern then this location with meet your needs, but if you are really looking for a place to call home...stay away... spend a little more and go somewhere else. Moving day can t come fast enough.

First off, anyone who raises rent on longtime residents in a transient community immediately after purchasing a property belongs in a special place in hell. Second off, when you raise people s rent with a letter, that letter should have contact information, like an address, phone number or email. If you can t even afford to have someone competent enough to send a proper letter, how are you justifying raising our rent?

Three and a half years in this place with no issues, new company comes along and immediately jumps rent ($100/mo more) in a time when much of the city is suffering. These people are evil and will face consequences for such immoral business practices.
