Stopped in and sat at the bar Thursday night. We waited about 5 minutes while the barmaids chatted with each other and ignored us. The bar was very empty, nonetheless many patrons were sitting with empty glasses in front of them, not a great sign if you want to make money lol..
After a few more minutes staring them down while they continued their chat, we got up and walked out. It s too bad, we were looking forward to relaxing with a few drinks and dinner. We drove down the street to another place and took our money elsewhere.

Glad we gave this place another chance. It was excellent. The service was very good; our waiter was attentive, helpful and personable. The food and drinks choices were plentiful and interesting and prepared well.

Very nice surroundings.Staff was quick.Visited on St Patrick's Day where the corned beef dinner special was highly advertised. After being seated & ordering the advertised meal,we were informed only the Shepherds Pie was available!! There was a nice DJ there playing Irish music & this place has weekly live local bands.Did not stay long!!

February 14, 2020 visit.
Our first time.
Atmosphere and decor are great. Warm and inviting. Food was ok. Clam chowder, chocked with clams. In a broth. No creaminess. Nothing stuck to the spoon. It was soup - not chowder.
Bourbon BBQ Steak tips: all garlic nothing else. No other flavors. I was disappointed in that. Very heavy garlic. If there were bourbon flavors, they were buried. Not what was advertised or expected. They were cooked medium as requested.

Bread/rolls were good. The dipping oil was bland. It was like olive oil was poured onto a dish and parmesan cheese sprinkled on and Done! No other flavors were present. We would expect an infusion of something: garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, something in any or all combination. There were none. Like a new bottle just opened. (These did arrive with our food, not great timing)

My companion's food was not remarkable with exception of the Baked Haddock which was over salted.

Service was otherwise very good.

Yes, very particular comments as Friends have raved. We, were not impressed.

It wasn't terrible and we will give them another go soon hoping for what our friends experience.

Good atmosphere and great burgers! Got the all American only ate half because of the portion but it was great! Fresh baked rolls with oil while we waited for our food! Lunchtime was not busy and staff was great! Will return for more menu options!
