Would have loved to check them out given the other reiveiws, and we might have had it not been for the "doorman" smokin a joint oitside and the cover fee.
The space is beautiful, the bathrooms clean, there is a beer garden, pool tables, live music and food. Seating at the bar, in booths, at tables, on couches, hell, the floor if you are so inclined! The microbrews are DELICIOUS and that's why I go. I hear the food is good, but I have yet to try it . It's fun when it's crowded, but it tends more often to be empty and that makes me sad.
Each time I visit Milwaukee I come here and am never let down. If you're looking for a no B.S. type of place, then you can find a nice little home in Stonefly. The interior is as great as the staff and the food, and the location is perfect for a place like this. There is nothing pretentious about it, no one carries a sense of entitlement, and the staff treats you as if you're a friend. I absolutely love it here and wish I lived in Milwaukee so I could frequent this place. I almost forgot to mention the beer: very reasonably priced, they've got a great variety of on-site brews, and they're tasty to boot. I'll be back again soon.
Quite a large brewery. Unfortunately when we were there on Sunday at 4 in the afternoon there were too many people. Unfortunately they are open till 5 only. As the bartender told us it is already before closing time and quite cold in Milwaukee but normally have many people. Honestly do not like quite full of places so for me it was perfect. They do have beer samples 3 for $ 5 and get all 11 Their beers for $ 20 Stoit was my favourite them.
