Great place with amazing beer selection and a quality menu

My service was phenomenal. Food was quick and delicious. Would eat here a thousand times over.

The owner is very friendly and courteous and the food very good.

Stone Ridge Tavern is somewhere between a sports bar and a middle America restaurant with the best of both worlds. The staff is very pleasant and the food was pretty good. There is a full bar and TV's on one side for the sports fans and the other side is situated more like a Chilli's or Applebee's with booths, tables and standard decor. The prices are on par with what you would expect. I would come back again if I was in the area.

Good variety on the menu, fast and friendly service! Enjoyed my flounder sandwich.

We ate here last night after enjoying the Winter Lights at the NC Arboretum. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and our server was very pleasant. I highly recommend Stone Ridge Tavern for great food in a pleasantly rustic atmosphere.

Decent yet generic restaurant, very similar to Buckhead Mountain Grill. Server/service was awesome, but food was subpar.

Been going occasionally for years; great local beer selection and delicious food. A bit pricey, but certainly not outrageous. Highly recommend.

Prime rib could have been more tender. We got our order to go, when we got back to our hotel there wasn't any butter or sour cream for potato. Broccoli was good. Dessert was delish.

Great service and delicious food. Great food quality with reasonable prices. By far one of the best restaurants in Asheville. I definitely recommend it.

What a great place!! It was recommended to us, and boy are we glad we went. Our server, Joel, was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent. We will DEFINITELY go back when visiting Asheville.

We enjoyed eating here. The food was delicious. I loved the Greek salad. The dressing was sweeter than normal. The bread was homemade. The staff was wonderful.

Stone Ridge is one of my favorite spots to frequent for good food, or to just pop in and have a drink with my buddies.
I always sit at the bar, and the service is always top shelf service.
I went in this past Tuesday for a drink, and to order food Togo for my kiddos. When we order our drinks the very sweet bartender took our glassware and scooped them into the ice bin. I looked at my friend, and I was like yikes ! If glass chips in the ice bin someone could literally die. I didn t say anything because I didn t want to be a jerk, but I want to let you know so this doesn t continue. The drinks were delicious.

We go once a week. Food is always good, service is great. Staff does a great job with social distancing and disinfecting. Our favorite restaraunt in Asheville.

Undergoing rennovations, but sure it will be done soon. Lamb Gyro was good, more authentic Greek than many places. Good portions of chicken bites and fries.

Be nice if the server would smile and be a bit upbeat but food was good

Great food! Reasonably priced. Staff that waited on us were great. This place will do good. If you're ever in Asheville, you need to stop here.

We usually have good experiences here so I am more than unhappy to report my last visit. We arrived when there was VERY FEW cars in the parking lot. We were one of the only groups in the restaurant. Our waitress took a little bit to come over and get our drinks but after she brought our drinks and bread everything went downhill from there. She said she would give us a minute to look over the menu and then she d be back. She returned 20 minutes later (AGAIN VERY FEW PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT)... anyways she took our orders and then we waited... our orders consisted of 2 chicken tender plates, a burger plate, a large grilled chicken salad, a loaded potato with a side of veggies and a bowl of soup. Our drinks (water and tea only) we re constantly empty. I had to grab another server on multiple occasions to ask for water. We received our side salads finally and then a little while later MOST (4/6 orders) of the food came out. I sat patiently waiting on the large chicken salad which I assumed would be one of the first things out and my sister waited on a single bowl of soup. We assumed that it was a lot of orders so there would be multiple trips made to bring the food. 10 minutes later our waitress comes to the table to tell us AFTER EVERYONES FOOD ARRIVED that they were out of soup... she also realized that I never received my food. My sister chose not to order anything else because at that point everyone already had their food and we would ve had to wait again. My food (A SALAD) came out about halfway through everyone else s meal. 2 out of the 4 meals that actually did arrive had cold food. For the 3rd time let me state IT WAS NOT BUSY. Missing food and cold food is unacceptable. And if all that wasn t enough we got charged for the soup we never received. We had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get that money back. Now I was a waitress for 5 years and I get bad days so we still tipped her fairly generously but the overall experience was not great at all.

The ribs are delicious! The Greek salad and the grilled brocolli sides were good as well.

The last 2 times it was just so so. Sirloin is good as well as sweet potato. The bread is the best thing there. Do not order the fish though! The chicken tenders the no flavor. Potato soup is good too. Waitress kept taking my food away before I was done though and overcharged my sangria.

Part of what keeps me coming back here is it is one of the few places in town with Guinness on tap. The food is decent. There is better fare, but usually more expensive and can almost always get seated right away even if the parking lot seems full.

Always great. My wife and I eat here every year for our anniversary.

Tried the prime rib and Diane had the BBQ ribs. Prime rib was very flavorful having been rubbed with seasoning after it was cut to ensure total coverage. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The salad was fresh from the garden good. Service was friendly but our server was a bit distracted. Luckily others picked up the slack for her. Would definitely recommend.

Don't order the Margarita, super bland and served in a beer glass. Ate at the bar, bartender(ette) was lousy --had to chase her down to get my check because she won't look at me. Too busy cleaning. Hamburger was ok, not much flavor. Loaded potato was also bland. Strictly an average or less chain restaurant. Keep looking.

Great food, great service and reasonably priced. The Blacken Trout was absolutely amazing, along with the loaded sweet potato and salad!!! We well be eating here on our next trip!!!

Had the bacon cheeseburger it was very good wife had greek salad with grilled shrimp. It was also very good. Service was very good.

Steaks here are so so good! Service here is not bad just not speedy! The servers here never make eye contact or hardy acknowledge you they just take order deliver food... thats it... not bad but it is much better when friendly is added to the mix.

Friendly staff, comforting atmosphere, and decent food at a decent price. Good selection of beer as well if the mood strikes!

Excellent!!! .... Healthy portions & food was delicious too!!! Went during Phase 2 of NC Covid re-openings, and every server was wearing a mask and guest were placed at tables that were safe distances apart!!!

Been coming here and to Cornerstone their brother restaurant for years. The Barlas Family have the best restaurants in Asheville - hands down.

I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was great. The portion size was soooo large, i couldn't eat it all. My husband had the blackened flounder and said it was wonderful

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful fireplace when it is turned on, our waitress was sweet. She just forgot the bread and my side. They should have their fireplace on this time of year! We were told that we couldn't sit by the fireplace because they didn't have a waitress/waiter working that area. Ok....that totally took away the whole experience on New Years Day.

First time coming to this restaurant but I'm willing to try it again after all that happened: we came as a group and sadly the kitchen failed miserably. 7 out of 8 were not happy w their order. I was the only one to have my steak redone because I was starving and couldnt power through eating the steak. Our server though was awesome. He listened to our complaints, and did what he thought was best, which was more than amazing. I am willing to go back again and I'm sure whatever was going on that night wont repeat. This restaurant seems to be really awesome

Seated us in the bar by the door for take out orders. Locals used it as the front door. It was freezing outside, so we ate our dinner in the cold. My husband ordered a salad. It had about 5 cores from a head of lettuce. Felt like leftovers. My flat bread was not completely cooked. No one ever came back to refill our beverages. We were in town for a family vacation for Thanksgiving. Hotel recommended this restaurant. Will definitely NOT be back to the Stone Ridge Tavern.

Good food, good service, but a little loud. Enjoyed the meal!

The food was the run of the mill Sysco special. The portion sizes could be halved as well as the price. The service was good and friendly as southern hospitality gets.

The burger was great and the onion rings are amazing.

Best part was the service. It was outstanding!!!

Wonderful lunch especially the greasless onion rings. A fine compliment to my delicious Reuben.

Went here with my wife while on vacation. We chose to eat here because of the reviews and proximity to us. What a mistske. Our soup came out barely warm, they took it back and brought it out barely warm again, the third time they brought it out it was a little better but not steaming hot. At this point we went ahead and ate it. Finally our dinner arrives. One bite of the pasta alfredo and done, it was disgusting. Tried the chicken, it chewed like a piece of rubber. Our server was very nice as was the manager. Our meal was removed which was good but our experience still left a bad taste in my mouth.

My husband and I work down the road so we're here fairly often. After 3 years, we've never once had a bad experience! The menus are extensive and everything we've tried has been great. The service is always excellent.

The staff was friendly enough. We got take-out. The food we got was mediocre at best. Hot wings were not spicy. The loaded baked-potato we got was definitely not 'loaded' a pinch of cheese and green onions does not count towards 'loaded'.

The steak was tiny on our steak salad. All in all it was mediocre at best.

Oh my Great dinning experience the food was really great and our waiter was awesome. It was very busy but our waiter didn't miss a beat.

Convenient, just off I 26. Pleasant staff. Great service. We both had fish, well prepared and flavorful. Prices are a little higher, but the quality was good value.

Wow this place was fantastic ! Menu variety great, something for everyone. Great selection of wine and beer. Service was fast and very friendly. Meal and appetizers arrived fast and prepared perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious. All of this was on a busy Saturday night after only a few minutes wait. Very impressed, hope to go back.

I love the ambience of this place. Very attentive staff. Fast service.
