The new location is awesome. The atmosphere was hugely improved when they moved! They offer a full menu now. Although it takes a little longer than expected to come out, it is well worth the wait! Being a new kitchen staff I am sure it will improve over time. My tip is to send someone early on the weekends to put your name on the seating list. They do have a seating policy that should be noted: 80% of your party must be present when it is time to be seated. They do NOT take reservations. They have their same great brew and some new ciders on tap! Definitely a great addition to Sparta.

The set up was nice, but took forever to get seated even though there was many tables open. The staff seem to be just standing around. The service was frankly, just as horrible as the cold food.

Something is different. I've raved about the wings, and even brought friends here to try them. Tonight, less meaty, and it is easy to overcook small wings. For $13, expect what you used to serve. And the beer, tasty, but not cold. Bar waitress was "misinformed" about the bbq stack.
I asked if it was a plate, and came as a sandwich between two slices of cornbread. Got a growler to go, and brought my own neoprene growler sleeve, got home 20 mins later, and poured a slightly cold beer. Whats happening with you folks?

The food has been wonderful over the last couple years, until the new owners have taken over. Last night's pulled pork nachos for $12 was not even enough to feed one person. The jalapenos were basically chopped in four, no sour cream or hot sauce. The beer cheese for the breadsticks look like it had been warmed over multiple times and is also no longer the same.

Service is inconsistent but hopefully is due to newness and will improve with experience and more feedback. The menu is very simple and lacks the basics of pizza and chili. My wife is a vegetarian and there are very few food options for her. She ended up ordering a Reuben Sandwich with no meat and was charged the full price! The "Shareable Onion Rings are a joke at $4.99 -- we were served a very small basket of about eight rings. We will go back for the beer and ambiance but not for the food until the menu improves.

We were not overly impressed. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon on August 17. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Kayla (got the name from our receipt) was not friendly and definitely did not give you a warm welcome. Never greeted you or introduced herself. Walked up and said "you know what you want to drink?" First time here and I had just sat down and not even looked over drink selection. I tried two samples and drank the tangerine blonde. Beer was good. We ordered food, the fried chicken and mango habanero wings. Food was amazing. My husband asked our bartender for ketchup and she pointed to the six pack holder in front of us, with an eye roll and walked away. Guess what no ketchup in there! My husband got up and got one from the table behind us. We made a comment to each other about her attitude and how she must be having a bad day.
While we are eating some regular customers came in and sat down and all of a sudden our bartender is oozing with niceness. She even overmixes a long island and gives one of the ladies a freebie. I understand taking care of your regulars but you never know who could be a new regular.
Good service goes a long way. Beer and food can be good but if you have a server or bartender who acts like your inconveniencing them, people will not come back.
We will not be back. There are far too many other breweries to stop at in the area that actual greet you, ask if you have ever been there before, this is what we have new on tap, get your names, ect...

The food, beer and whiskey is always phenomenal. The service however ranges from spectacular to terrible depending on who you get and how busy they are. Unfortunately the level of how busy they are doesn t determine the quality of service for some reason. I ve been in there when it is screaming busy and still got great service and I ve been there when there is only one other table and I still wait 50 minutes for food and sat with an empty drink for over 20 minutes. Food is sometimes luke warm when it comes out but that isn t often

Great place for large parties. We had a prearranged menu, family style. Served as scheduled, hot food was hot. Service was great. Rolls served at beginning of meal were excellent. Loved the chicken drumsticks, cornbread, apple salad, coleslaw.

The pulled pork fries tasted like soap, the bacon didnt seem to be cooked all the way, and my partner and I now have food poisoning. Took an hour total to receive our order on a slow night. Perhaps this is a good place to just drink at the bar. 7/10 will not eat here again. Not to mention the awful pricing, I paid $35 for 2 just to puke and sh!t it up. Couldve eaten a tube of cookie dough for cheaper and the same outcome.

The beer here is very good, what makes this place shine though, is the kitchen. Some amazing food, one of which is a home style pot pie that make me feel happy and comfortable. Add a lovely cold beer and you have the making of a great day.
