I have been a member of IZZ for years. They had excellent insurance, but that is now placed with major insurers. If you call their help desk, they will not understand what you are talking about when you call for IZZ. IZZ itself has no contact information on their site. One of the major insurers is VGZ. This is the worst insurer for healthcare because they negotiate far too hard. With this, a foundation that organizes care for the care should not go along with it.
Izz feels misunderstood: they try to organize cheap insurance for the healthcare sector, but this is not well understood by the insured. This is reflected in the building: a screened desk, the automation system is hopelessly outdated, there are meetings with signs with Post-it notes. The interior is from the last century, time has stood still.
Have been working for weeks to get an insurance statement for my trip. After 2 weeks I still don't have it.
Good organization. Thinks with the situation. And very thoughtful. Sent a bunch of flowers.
