Good Community spirit and most of the events are worth going to Berkeley for and I lived in East Oakland

The environment and people were pleasant when we visited last week. We saw from their abundant literature they strongly support peace and social justice. We also saw their "BLM" signs, supporting an activist group which is known for burning cars and throwing things at law enforcement officers. Peace and pacifism, how does that compute?
