I'm a little surprised at the overall rating - just had a wonderful this past Saturday evening. Food, service, drinks - everything great. Staff is very friendly. New front of house manager Mike was very nice too. We'll be back. Never a bad meal or experience here!

It wasn't great but was okay. Really pricey, meal and glass of wine was about $45 which would have been fine for exceptional food but this was not that
I have eaten here several times and the meals are always good. The selection at the bar is good and the service is decent. Overall this is a good choice for food or drinks.

My favorite: Blue point oysters followed by a great short rib dish. Excellent food, great service and fair pricing a good wine list. It is hard not to like this place!
The food and service were both high quality. My waitress was very nice, the atmosphere was calming, and the decor was well done. The only problem was the selection. The name and slogan give the impression of a sports bar type place or a family restaurant but it is actually more of a high class setting. The menu was extremely sparse, with the only vegetarian option being salad and the entire menu barely filling a single page. If you are thinking of visiting, make sure to look up the menu ahead of time!

I took my parents to 'Steve & Rocky's' for their Anniversary Dinner...which they picked! I can't say enough FANTASTIC things about our dinner from the moment we entered the door, until we left!!
Arden was our server and she's been working for the owners for over 5 years and I can see why!
SHE'S ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND CARES ABOUT EACH OF HER CUSTOMERS WITH SUCH PRIDE AND GRACE!
We saw that in the 'Appetizers Portion' of their DAILY MENU, was a trio of soups for $5.75 which were: Shrimp & Lobster Bisque, Cream of Mushroom, (which is the original recipe from 'The Golden Mushroom', for those of you who remember when it was open) and Gazpacho Soups. Well, all three of us aren't fond of the last...so I asked if we could just have 2 of the 3 and Arden replied, "You can pick whichever 2 soups are your most favorite and the third can be your second favorite, that way you'll receive ALL THREE! In addition, my parents LOVE Crabcakes too! OH MY, BY FAR, THESE WERE THE ABSOLUTE BEST CRABCAKES I'VE EVER HAD! Most Crabcakes are about half breadcrumbs and/or Panco crumbs; NOT THESE! These were filled with delicate and delicious fresh crab and VERY light and fluffy and absolutely delectable!
Finally, we all ordered something different. Mom had the Filet with fresh greens beans and light, fluffy mashed redskin potatoes.
Dad had Beef Bolognese with a beef & shallot type gravy with carrots and green beans and these delicate slices of scalloped potatoes with grilled shallots and mushrooms,perfectly roasted.
Finally, I chose the Smoked Wild Salmon with a light dill and caper sauce, beautifully thin fresh roasted asparagus and a light creamy scalloped potatoes with a touch of grilled shallots!
OH MY, PERFECTION SEEMS LIKE AN UNDERSTATEMENT...EACH OF OUR SELECTIONS WERE SHEAR PERFECTION!!!!!
The Manager came by at the middle of our meal and for our input - almost in unison, we replied "EVERYTHING IS SO PERFECT!"
Long story short, my husband and I are moving back to Michigan, where we were both born and raised. We moved to Summerlin in the city of Las Vegas, ONLY BECAUSE the economy was so poor for my husband and we are searching for our new home, back where we belong...however, since we LOVE THE WARMTH, we will be buying a second home in Scottsdale, AZ, once we sell our place in LV, NV and get settled into our Michigan home! My Mom mentioned that to the Manager and I told him that 'Steve & Rocky's' could EASILY OPEN ANOTHER inside 'The D' in Downtown Las Vegas and compete with the other high end restaurants!
Side note: MANY, MANY PEOPLE who visit &/or live here don't understand, (or don't ask or do any research) that 'The D', which is a newer (almost 5 years) Hotel, Casino & Spa that is OWNED BY DETROITERS! Many think it's called 'The D', simply because it's in downtown ~ IT'S NOT! EACH & EVERY Restaurant and Eatery was started and has been a success in the Detroit Metro Area! Andiamo's Italian Restaurant, Kirby's Coney Island, White Castle, Little Caesar's Pizza, etc. all started and continue to flourish in Detroit and the surrounding suburbs in Michigan, along with the way that the rooms are decorated too!
Lastly, Arden came around with a tray of delicious looking Desserts and named each one, describing them in precise detail! Needless to say, my parents LOVE CHOCOLATE, so they decided to share what's called 'The Chocolate Bomb' - WOW! I'm probably the ONLY ONE IN MY FAMILY THAT ISN'T A "CHOC-CO-HOLIC", HOWEVER, IT TRULY WAS 'THE BOMB'...the inside was a light fluffy mixture of dark chocolate ganache and Bailey's Irish Liqueur , topped with a fresh raspberry sauce and a dark chocolate shavings! One bite was all I tried and it was so beautifully made and very light, yet simply divine!
The Manager came back around just as Mom was finishing the dessert and he asked me, "So Las Vegas, how was each course and if I would return when we move back?" A RESOUNDING YES, WITHOUT QUESTION WHATSOEVER! It's a fabulous place to celebrate a special event, a romantic dinner, an unforgettable occasion or just because!!!!
Fantastic dining experience from the appetizers to the dessert.
I hate this place. The manager called me a liar. Our server never brought a wine chiller for our bottle of Chardonnay. The chicken skewer was more like chicken jerky. Our bread was served under baked. The manager came to our table only at the end to discuss the charges on our bill. Not one time before that. It's not rocket science white wine is served cold. Bread raw is gross. Management should check on their customers. I do not recommend dining here.
I like restaurants with exotic/different decor. This was our first time at Rocky s. I was really impressed by the service. Our server Dom was very polite, explained dishes for us thoroughly, and was attentive to our table.Our food came just as we asked. I d give the quality of the food 7/10 for the price. But server was really great, which made the experience worthwhile! Will definitely be back!
Food was decent, i thought calamari was delicious; however service was a little slow, therefore the 4 stars.
Good food and atmosphere but, get there early on the weekends, before 4:30pm. It gets too busy and loud. Last time we went, went after 5pm. Service wasn't very good, too loud and not a very good table.
Today's my birthday and my family and friends were in Novi so I chose S & R's. I made a last minute reservation for 7 and they were able to accommodate is. When I arrived the whole party had not arrived but they allowed me to sit and wait. Most places will make you wait for you team prior to seating you.
The staff and managers were so friendly and attentive even while I waited for my team and they were not rushy. I ordered filet and sea scallops as my entree. The steak was seasoned well and required no additional sause. The scallops were very tender but not under cooked.
My whole party was satisfied with their meals and the service. I'm going to try thr salmon and brussel sprouts the next time because the sample from my wife's plate was tasty. Didn't rush us while we were the last customers to leave.
The food is very tasty, the portions are considerable and the service is fast and responsible!

Steve and Rocky's is a great place to go. It is one of the few restaurants in the area that has a traditional feel. The menu offers a nice variety and changes frequently to offer new specials that are available for a limited time. Whether you choose fish or chicken or meet the entrees are delicious. They also offer great soup and salad. We have always had great service from the wait staff. If you don't feel like sitting in the dining room there is a nice bar with friendly bartenders. One of the reasons I like this restaurant is because of the live piano music, the musician will take special requests also.
I used to bus tables here in high school and my family has been coming here for generations. The poppy rolls in the bread basket are always my favorite. They make the best espresso in town. It's a phenomenally upscale atmosphere. The frog legs, oysters, and scallops were incredible, tasty, accompanied well with the sides on the dishes. Stunning presentation, Chopped-level food preparation, attentive and knowledgable service, affordable/reasonable prices for the dishes, this place never fails to amaze, please, and astound. 5/5
The food wasnt as good as usual, and the service wasn't as good either. My food had sat under the light for quite some time. The gravy had a VERY thick skin on it. It took us over a hour to get our food. My husband's favorite meal wasn't as good as usual either. Mine was not very good. We come here often, so, it was probably just a off day for the staff. We will still come back. It's usually fantastic
It was spectacular! Bob the person at the front counter went out of his way to make sure we had a good table and a good time and would definitely recommend this restaurant anyone. I would definitely recommend the perch. Which was what the waiter recommended. We will be back. The atmosphere was something in a downtown feeling. Nice Job
When I go out to dinner, the main things I focus on are the service and the food. Both were exceptional. Our waiter Anthony was very attentive without being overbearing, and very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. If I had to criticize anything, the floors and booths look very out of date, but who cares what you re sitting or standing on if you re enjoying your experience.

We have been going to Steve & Rock's for years. The menu changes all the time and no matter what we order, the food is always excellent. The staff is friendly and always helpful. This is one restaurant we never hesitate to recommend.
I was with a group and we had to wait about an HOUR for our food! When, we finally got it part of my chicken in my salad was very hard and the ranch dressing was just mayo! Won't be going back! There were three good things that I experienced...one the wait staff was pleasant two...we got Free desert and the last one is my friends dinner was Free and so was mine!

I had a business lunch today at Steve and Rocky's. The restaurant is beautiful and inviting. The service was first-class. I had the broiled salmon with roasted brussel sprouts, and sweet potato. It was perfectly cooked, perfectly plated and came to the table hot. It was delicious. I've eaten here before and when I left I wondered why I don't come here more often. Thank you for the great meal to the chefs and staff at Steve and Rocky's! I'll be back soon.
Bar service was not the best for customer service. Overall, just okay all around from food, menu items, beers on tap, and customer service. I had the filet, a bit overcooked on delivery. This restaurant is more of a fine dining restaurant, however my overall impression was just "okay".

Came here for a birthday dinner for myself, and I m glad i did. The food was amazing, everything we tried was excellent. Not only was the food amazing, but our waitress Caitlinn was wonderful. She was very attentive, knowledgeable about the food and drinks, and just the sweetest person. She helped make my birthday special. I will definitely come back here and hope to see her again.

Can I give them no stars? Worst service ever. Can't tell you how their products are because they never took our order. We waited 45 minutes then left and went elsewhere. Poor poor display of customer service.

Lots of fish selections here, but they do have some steak and chicken. I had the swordfish panzenella. It was soooooo good. The portion was large. My cousin got the grilled salmon with sweet potato and turnip puree. It was excellent as well. Arden was our server and did a phenomenal job. The service was exceptional. Bob, the GM could not have been nicer. Appreciative of the guests and genuinely likes to be there. Looking forward to going again, but next time for happy hour, which I hear is one of the best.
