Beautiful library, friendly staff, and great place to study! Those who are on a program at Yale can request books to be delivered here and they can be picked up in a room.

An unusual place, amazing. It is important to pay attention all the time, there are lots of details, thought has been invested in every point to which the eyes are directed. Each carving has a meaning (there is a figurine that says You are a joke) and it is hard to believe that it is permissible to touch huge antique and crisp books.

It's actually based on a design for a church, but they want a library. The tour guide said so the designer just scratch the title from church as library.

I would recommend at least walking through and enjoying the moment of seeing a real Yale University library.

Walking into this library is like walking into a temple of knowledge. The feeing is quite unique. I had never been in a library like this one. The architecture is mesmerizing. It s open to the public so anyone can come and enjoy the views and art in here. It s also got one of the largest collections in the world, so that s another unique feature of this place. If you re touring Yale campus, this is an absolute must. Don t miss this!

The most elaborately built library i've been in, to date!

This library is truly beautiful and it felt like an honor to visit. It wasn t too busy (late Saturday afternoon) and we were able to walk around and take a few photos and didn t feel like we were imposing or on the way of students. So many beautiful details! Definitely recommend stopping in for a look if you re visiting Yale or New Haven.

Yale University Sterling Library is a beautiful building that is open to the public and is recommended to visit.

This library is breathtaking beautiful. Its a wonderful gem in New Haven. Great place to study its very quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. This place feels like gothic church. Yales largest library, it has millions of books. Guest and visitors are allowed until 6pm.

The Sterling library is just amazing with a lot of rooms to study an enormous stock of books and the architecture is simply stunning - must visit.

MY favorite university library. Several floors of goodness. Please visit when possible.

Yale always the best. Great architectural buildings. Do visit new Haven for Yale and obviously pizza.
