Its a university whose graduates are serving in whole country for the benefit of Pakistan in large scale projects. Before coming to this place u must have an NIC and permission for entry. Its a beautiful place with landscapes. But faraway from islamabad city life.

Not a good location for university to be situated in

It's the best place for education and research in nuclear sciences, engineering and technology. It has 2 research nuclear reactors and 1 university viz. PIEAS. I got my Master degree in Nuclear Engineering from PIEAS.

The university is modelled on international standards with a strong focus on the scientific advancement of the nuclear science-related STEM fields and medical sciences.[1]

Founded in 1967 as Reactor School from the sponsorship of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in response to support and manage the nuclear energy infrastructure in the country, the institute started its educational activities with the affiliation of Quaid-e-Azam University, and became Centre for Nuclear Studies (CNS) in 1976 the center gained its new name and became independent as public university in 1997. In 2000, the PIEAS was granted the status of a doctorate degree awarding institute. PIEAS is based on a 150 acres (0.61 km2; 0.23 sq mi) campus and has around 135 full-time faculty members

Academic Study is good
People are very nice and cooperative
Social Life and Extra-Curricular Activities are poor
Poor Infrastructure
Worst Placement Office

Graduate of this so called No.1 engineering Institute....they deserve to be at bottom

It is difficult to leave this institute after 4 years. The cafe needs a lot of improvements though.
