Beautiful place in the mountains. Nice service and good food. A perfect place to explore Aurlandsdalen

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July 2020. It is a brilliant place surrounded by stunning scenery. The purpose of the trip was to walk Aurlandsdalen down to Vassbygdi and we got many good tips from the knowledgeable people at Fjellstova. The food both days was also tasty and good with nice people serving. They have a fireplace stove in the basement which only we used even though it was open, here you can be lucky to get a huge living room all to yourself! The rooms are not large, we stayed inside Fjellstova, but they have a sink in the room and two large closets. The beds were good, but a little short for a 1.96 cm, but it went well. All in all, a very good stay and a place we will probably return to. Can be safely recommended.

Good service, good food. Cabins where clean and bigger than expected.

On our trip we wanted to stop for coffee and wafles, and they had no waffles and refused to make any.

Awesome Swedish Table / Continental breakfast! Try the pickled fish and the fresh baked bread.

Remember to pre-order. Here it is full on the campsite when there are 5 cars there. Is room for 30. Slightly solution-oriented
