One of the best studios in NYC if budget isn't a problem

Big studio that makes movies. Sometimes they put up a wooden wall with a large green background and do some scenes right on site. They put large light sets that from my windows you can see the glow coming into my home. Being that I live close, other times you see large fire balls but it's funny with not much sound coming off from then. I take it they add those sound affect later on.

Always very courteous when I have to check in for a project. I love this place

It is a place that there are several cinematographic productions

A bit of a challenge to get to, but the facilities are fantastic.

This is what people think a film and television studio lot is like, but most are not.

One important difference to note is that Steiner has its own parking, free of charge, if you're working on a project there. They also have plenty of secure bike racks if you rather ride there.

Didnt go in but this place was MASSIVE and in brooklyn

It would be nice if they had parking in this location for Actors who drive and self report.

Fantastic place to work. Was involved in three episodes of Boardwalk Empire as a background artist when it was still in production at Steiner. Will never forget the experience!

best place to work for film & tv in new york city, hands down.

My grandma worked at the Navy Ship Yards back in the day so it's an honor to be working here. It feels so Brooklyn, so NYC! I just moved from Hollywood and Steiner Studios has such a magnetic feel to it. I'm grateful to work here.

Currently very busy with many products. They are very strict with covid prodocols. It is where movies are made.
