Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel Review

Powerful complex. Everyone can find something for themselves, the only minus is the food (no revelations)

We have been in this hotel for 9 years in a row over Christmas and New Year's Eve.
We can only say that we were very satisfied and felt very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and very nice. The ambience for the Christmas season was also very successful. The large area is very nice and well maintained. The food is excellent. You can also eat in different restaurants 1 a week. But great are the gala dinners Christmas / New Year's Eve. There is a lot more to tell. We will be back in 2020/2021.

Not very impressed with the way the beds are made in rooms. No effort is made on the beds to make the room look wow. Unfortunately i have to give it a 3 star will edit as days go....

Great hotel with a lot of swiming pool, nice beach, diving center, watersport center, good restaurant, every evening animation at the dinner, etc... amazing

A sublime Egyptian palace. The gardens are impeccable, the water park is huge and allows access to the golf course or the private beach. Excellent maintenance and cleanliness. Nothing to say, I had a very good stay at this hotel.

It waa a great experience to stay on this great hotel, I try only one night, now booked already 3 weeks, very helpfule stuff, clean rooms and, the resturant is great, Spa is my favourit place.
The only problem I think is car parking, otherwise everything is comfortoble

Excellent in everything, covid precautions in place like temperature check upon arrival, chech-in fast with glass separation, social distance everywhere, helpful front desk employees (Kerolos & Saad), very nice pool with water features and a lazy river, beach is nice with an excellent restaurant.

The only downside is the sea is not fully sandy, and you have to walk a little to pass the slightly rocky area (recommend sea shoes) which is the sane in most of Hurghada beaches.

Dinner well prepared and COVID-19 preventive measures in place, all wearing masks and gloves, open buffet with chefs serving you.

Greenery everywhere and definitely a GO ***** Hotel

The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach can be recommended as a hotel for recreation at any time! , We are very satisfied - only friendly hotel staff experienced and for the sixth time in a row. A really spacious room, where you can spread out. The TV program covers all international channels, there is something for everyone. Without any news from home is not then: O) A large balcony with a gigantic view (sea view room), highly recommended. Only the jet of water in the shower was a bit tired, but that does not seem to be uncommon. In terms of food you have to say ..Hochachtung and top services! Especially in the specialty restaurants, such as the Lebanese restaurant, the French called Alex or the Sushi Bar or Tepaniaki !!!! Top quality and top service! The hotel has the largest pool areas in Hurghada and beautifully divided, branched out and offers beautiful 'partly hidden Ruheinseln.'Die peculiarity is the Lazy River, as you can in a tire just drift. Just great .. I really liked the beach, lots of beach chairs, lots of space, very very clean. The service readiness is on a very high level, whether in the restaurant, on the beach, at the pool, always someone for you there. You get the door stopped, when something falls down, someone is on the spot, you will always and everywhere asked, if everything was ok and and and. I was really excited .... and above all always with a smile on my face. Always there never intrusive and very friendly and helpful, wonderfully compliment thank you. The beach very well maintained, flotsam is also collected in the water, water depth tidal. My conclusion: we were very satisfied this hotel leaves nothing to be desired. For me, no other hotel comes into question. It's like coming home. The staff is excellent. If you want to relax in peace and a certain ambience would definitely choose the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach.

So the hotel is fantastic, the location is perfect, and the rooms are beautiful. The hotel employees are absolutely top, support in German perfect. Except for the sellers at the pool. Not recommended for Egyptians unless you want to feel discriminated against in your own country. Complete nightmare!

An upscale hotel, which we would recommend. We were after a week Nile cruise nocht 7 days in Steigenberger. The guest is in good hands here, even the reception was professional. We could even get a room change, as we like to live near the lobby. One could now start a long report on the benefits of the hotel, we limit ourselves to the things that are not natural in Egypt. Free and almost everywhere working Wi-Fi, 5 German TV channels, very extensive food offer with every meal. Sufficient and long opening times of the buffets. Various restaurants for dinner bookable. Beach chairs are occupied with a towel card. There was always something free in every region. Different zones for individual relaxation needs. With a small red flag (on the beach umbrella), one can keep unwanted offers of the most diverse services of the Pelle. Two small flaws, the beach is not for swimmers, as it is too shallow and in the lobby is occasionally loud music played until 22:00. But we gladly accepted that for the short distances. Clear overall recommendation from us.

Very modern hotel with extremely bright rooms and a great atmosphere. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The food is excellent and always very fresh + varied. We will definitely be back!

Visiting for the second time. This hotel leaves nothing to be desired. Huge pool area, various restaurants, various bars, a very beautiful private beach, exclusive service and an absolute feel-good atmosphere.

Just back, it was beautiful a very well-kept area. The food has a wide variety for every taste and very friendly and helpful staff. I was there for the third time and not for the last time.

, I enjoyed all the time there staff is friendly, they apply infections control measures are very strict, in spite of 25% occupancy only there is no reduction in the stuff capacity and your requests are applied in minutes, I don't want to forget the elegant compliment when we requested late checkout it was offered for free to enjoy our vacation to the max

Very clean, good prices, good food, very friendly staff, one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Definitely worth a recommendation.

We are here for the 4th time. Living for the first time in a suite in the main building. Below us there is a lobby above us other rooms. Otherwise we were always in the elite rooms. This time we wanted to treat ourselves to a suite. Since the house is being extended, the upper floor will probably not be rented out because of construction noise, now a lot of Egyptians have come from relatives and so on at this time of the year. Most with small children, the noise level in the room is very, very loud. We haven't had that in the last few years. It could easily be built in between a door in the suites because it is very noisy and the bar is open 24 hours. Then you can still hear children running and shouting outside the door and in the lobby even after midnight. We think that's a shame because we hardly come to rest.
Otherwise everything is very clean and the staff very friendly. The food is always okay too. You can have a good chat with the German manager and they try to please everyone.

If the cleanliness in the bathroom is increased a bit, it would also give 5 stars.

Food has been very good

Very nice hotel with large rooms and nice pool area. Perfect for a holiday with children as they get a lot. The beach is about 5 minutes walk, or you can take the shuttle.
The buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is very clean and fresh.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
